DARLING DAISY
Tealkit / RiverClan kitten / female [♀] / tags & information
*:・゚✦ So Tealkit finally left the camp. She was barely outside, but she considered it her greatest accomplishment. However, when she returned to the nursery, the other kits didn't think that stepping a few feet out of camp was that big of a deal. "Tealkit, you should go to the river." An NPC kit said. The thought filled the girl with fear, she had nearly drowned once, the river was a place of horrible memories that had left a lasting scar on her mind. "I dare you, Tealkit." The NPC said. "N-no! I-I won't do it!" Tealkit said. "Then you're a chicken! A scaredy cat!" The kits teased her. "You're almost an apprentice, act like one!" Tealkit looked out through the entrance. She didn't want to be a chicken or a scaredy cat. She wanted to be brave, she wanted to impress these kits. She wanted to be popular. "I don't know, what if I get into trouble?" Teal asked, quivering. "Do it, Tealkit! Do it!" The kits chanted.
Why did I do this to myself... Tealkit thought as she jumped through the snow, sinking in a few times. She used the existing paw prints of the border patrols that came through here that morning, to find her way to the river. All the memories came flooding back when she saw it. Those awful, giant creatures with their grabby hands and horrifyingly creepy hairless faces. They shoved her mother and littermates into a cage, and accidentally flung Tealkit into the river while attempting to catch her. She remembered that day so vividly; as all the air in her lungs was replaced by icy cold water, and she was violently pinned underneath the water by the powerful current. She remembered fighting desperately for air before hitting her head on a rock. Then she came to RiverClan, her home...
The river was frozen solid now, it couldn't drown her anymore, but Tealkit was still scared. She reluctantly placed a paw on the surface of the ice; only to quickly pull it away. "μπορείτε να το κάνετε αυτό, Tealkit." She told herself in the language that her mother spoke. You can do this, Tealkit. She closed her eyes and nervously stepped onto the ice, and it was as solid and stable as the land. However, when she tried to run across, she slid on the ice. Tealkit screamed, curling up into a ball on the ice. Slowly she got up, carefully crossing the ice until she was on ThunderClan territory. I did it.
"Speech."
