    Tealkit / RiverClan kitten / female [♀] / tags & information

*:・゚✦ Tealkit was only two weeks away from being an apprentice, she wasn't a helpless little thing anymore. She could take care of herself, she had lost all her kitten fluff, she was so close to being called Tealpaw instead of Tealkit. She took in a deep breath of icy cold air as she gazed out into the territory. This was it. She wasn't scared anymore. Tealkit always clung to the safety of camp, but now she would take a risk, and break the rules for the first time ever.

And it was going to be great. Tealkit didn't know exactly why she was doing this, maybe is was to prove that she wasn't a helpless kitten anymore, maybe it was to see the territory, but whatever the reason, Tealkit was going to do it with her new-found confidence.

Crawling through a hole in the nursery, Tealkit leapt into the air. "Yes! I did it!" She cried, a grin on her face. The girl ran around, jumping into the air and marveling at how big the land was now that she was outside. She had always followed rules before, but today was different.

  • Ew, this kit again - the one that babbled with a silly and strange tongue (not that he could talk). He blinks when he sees her bouncing out of the nursery. Truth be told, he is unimpressed. Only now this kitten has grown a backbone? Hmph, cats like Crowkit were already out of the nursery trotting around and trying to be cool. Actually, he realises his thoughts are false. He remembers seeing her outside of camp when he had returned, but since then the girl has been pretending to be a good little child and stay in the nursery. Only now it seems that Tealkit has surpassed the kitten prison. Still, he continues to be unimpressed. His nose scrunches. "Did wha'?" he asks, but it is unclear whether he actually wants an answer or not.

*:・゚✦ She was caught. That was her first thought. Some warrior had found her and was going to scold her. But to her surprise, she didn't receive a scolding. Tealkit wasn't exactly fond of Larkthroat, and she was pretty sure that he didn't like her very much, either. However, it was still better than someone else finding her. "I escaped. I've never been outside before." Teal said.

    "Speech."

  • He didn't think there was a cat who was more of a wuss than Crowkit. After all, the child has admitted to him in the past that he is interested in becoming a medicine cat because he doesn't want to get hurt. This cat, this little feline right in front of him, was establishing pride for trotting out of a nursery. He isn't even vaguely impressed by her efforts. "Lies. I saw you when I was caugh' by a few RiverClanners fer snoopin' around. It was a combined effor' o' yer delay and Sharkpaw's tha' I was around long enough fer Aspenfligh' and Doey to no'ice I was back 'ere," he grumbles. He remembers it well, actually. She was telling him that Doestar was not a bad leader, but was lost in proof because she, a simple kitten, was out of camp. Then again, children do not have particularly wonderful memories. She is not exceptional like him, so it would be easy to say that she has forgotten about that incident. Larkthroat, however, doesn't forget.

*:・゚✦ Tealkit had nearly forgotten about that time, but it came back to her now. Yes, that was true, but there were other cats there. This time she was alone. "But Solitaire was there. And then Sharkpaw showed up." Tealkit said. "This time I'm outside all by myself." Maybe she wasn't supposed to go outside that time, but at least she wouldn't have been attacked by some animal or kidnapped by BloodClan or anything like that. This time I'm taking a risk, right? She glanced at the nursery a few yards away. If it was a risk, it wasn't a very big one.

    "Speech."

  • “you talkin about me?” came the young tom’s unnecessarily grumpy voice as he returned from an unsuccessful hunt. he’d heard his name mentioned and had to make sure someone wasn’t slandering him. just for the fact that larkthroat was there could very well mean he was getting roasted, and he couldn’t have that. he took a look at the kit larkthroat was talking to and snorted. she must think she was so sneaky for managing to escape the nursery. how ridiculous. “the way you’re acting, you deserve to get eaten up by a fox,” he mewed, unimpressed. didn’t those brats understand that they were only making his life more difficult when they decided they could be oh so independent?

  • Tch. He doesn't really care about what she views as an achievement or not. All he can think about is how pathetic each generation becomes. They all grovel deeper than all the adults before him and Larkthroat knows it is up to him to let RiverClan shine. Otherwise, this Clan will become the laughing stock of the forest. They have been stolen from, raided, left without a healer - they are truly going straight to the grave. It is lucky that he, a god, has come to reside among them again. They owe their very lives, but it is cats like the devil who appears with a grumble that are truly ungrateful. He glares at Sharkpaw, a snarl resounding from his curled lips. "Tealki' was jus' talkin' about 'ow she's a big wuss," he says, teeth snapping together. He doesn't disagree with the alabaster tom that the fem deserved to mangled by the stinky predators, but Larkthroat can't help but think of Twisteddung whose very tail was the result of a fox. Ironic considering Sharkpaw was the unfortunate apprentice of the warrior.
