The Frontier. This was the place that he was now an ambassador to. Hopefully all would go alright, and he would be accepted in without many hardships, but he could understand if that didn't work out quite quickly. If any case, he might even join to help things go along a bit more smoothly. He had lived part time in two clans at once before. It used to be Windclan and Scarclan that he held dual alliances with, but these two clans were allies so perhaps things would just be smoother.

Approaching the border, the male would calmly seat himself. He was small yes, but that didn't not mean he was young. It was just his size that seemed to throw others off. Even back home most thought of him to be a pup. It was quite annoying really, but he didn't bother to listen to them. He had more important things to do than to listen to rumors about himself.

Beside him sat a basket of goods, most of which basic needs. In the future there might be an evolution of the basket holding some more personal things to The Frontier, but as of the moment it was nothing special. Just a way to make him appear more friendly, Weed supposed.

  • Elijah was accustomed to the scent of Riverside and its inhabitants from his sparse time there, so when he picked up on traces of it floating on the wind as he was doing his rounds piqued his interest. A visitor? Was there news?

The young wolf turned in the direction he imagined the stranger to be located and jogged forward, spotting Weed from a distance and slowing his pace. "Ah, hello!" he called over, mustering up whatever enthusiasm he could manage. He wasn't really the energetic sort, but he could at least try not to be a prickly piece of shit. "Uh, welcome to the Frontier, um, what brings you here?" He sat down and flicked his tail. "I'm Elijah."

Looking to the older canine as he was approached, Weed would dip his head in greeting to the other. Ah, so it hadn't taken much time at all for him to be found here. It was great to know that the Frontier was keeping check on their borders, even with their rather dwindling amount of members.

"I'm Weed Edenway-Pheolem Leonidas, I'm here on official business from Riverside to give news that I will now be serving as the ambassador between our two clans. That being said I would also find it nice if I would be allowed to join your clan as a member in order to uphold our alliance. Of course me being a member wouldn't be the only way to distinguish the fact our clans are in terms friends, but it would certainly be a better way to hold up communication and keep our clans close" the shiba inu would reply, a small smile appearing onto his muzzle. Hopefully that would sound alright to the canine who had come here. He wasn't too sure on the other's position within the clan, but surely they were allowed to accept him into living here. It wasn't as though he was a threat after all- but more or less an ally of the Frontier. There was no reason to fear an ally to your clan, correct?

  • Elijah blinked in surprise as the male introduced himself as an ambassador. That was good, that was very good. He was eager to hear it, being quite interested in the clan's relationships with their allies as he was. Of course, none of this excitement shone through his stoic exterior save for a wag of his tail, but his heart fluttered at the news.

Then, yet another bit of good news came forth as Weed declared his interest in joining. Elijah's ears perked and he replied with a quick nod. "Ah, nice to meet you, Weed," he said, bowing his head. "We're glad to have another ambassador." Crashedpaw's weekly visits from the Rift were always fun, so having yet another ambassador's updates to look forward to was great! "Uh, and you're certainly welcome to join! Um, if you really want to, y'know." He shuffled his forepaws, worried that his lustre was showing through his demeanour. He didn't like seeming too uppity, it was embarrassing. He was supposed to be stony and cool, not excitable as a damn kitten with a sparkly bell-toy.

"So, yeah... Happy to have you."

He gazed off to the side for a moment. "So... Uh, how is Riverside doing, then?"

  • Blazestar went over as well, overhearing what Elijah said and getting the gist of what was going on. "Welcome to the Frontier, I'm Blazestar." the feline greeted with a smile. it was certainly good to see the joiners, and it was always nice to welcome a new face as well as hear from allies.

"It is wonderful to know that I am welcome to join your clan, both of you" Weed would respond, dipping his head to both Elijah and Blazestar as well since she had happened to approach before he could respond to just the canine. Gaze blinking, the male would then choose to continue on with his statements. Turning back to Elijah, the canine would send them a friendly smile to show encouragement. Judging by the other's actions, they were growing mildly nervous- perhaps due to how they were acting. Maybe it was different than their usual demeanor, or maybe they just weren't that used to having joiners show up on the border.

"Anyways, Riverside is doing swell. It's been chilly- of course- but we have gladly become neutral with Shadow Veil, a great change in course after years upon years of hatred between us. Of course though, we haven't much of a clue how long this will last, but hopefully the neutrality will hold strong. As for other news we have also been welcoming many into our ranks, as well as taking in more high positions who have served our clan for a substantial period of time" Weed would continue on, his eyes holding onto Elijah's. Hopefully this was the information that was being looked for. He wasn't too sure what else to say in all honesty. Nothing bad had really happened to the Riverside recently after all. Or at least not anything that probably wasn't out on the news by now.
