  • OSRIC !

A few days late, admittedly, but today was Osric's turn to call the week's meeting together. He and Fourth had plenty to discuss with the rogues this morning - promotions, politics, the tournament Osric promised would be coming up soon - and so the tomcat wasted no time in hopping up onto the fountain's edge. They were still in the depths of winter, and the thick blanket of snow settled over the courtyard showed no sign of melting away anytime soon.

'Everyone gather for a meeting!' Osric called as loudly as he could. He lacked Fourthwall's booming voice, but the territory was quiet enough at this time in the morning that the feline's voice would travel as far as it needed to go.

  • DEATHSTROKE

Deathstroke made his way over after the announcement was made and he took a seat near the front so he could see and hear everything without trouble. However, because of the cold and snow he was bundled up in a blanket. The assassin had always despised the cold!

  • ・゚✦ —— A meeting was called but not about Fourthwall himself. Did this meant the guy had died or some shit like that?. Reiki would pad over with his attractive little body not having seen that asshole around yet so guessed if he not was dead just didn't liked the sun very much. Noticing Deathstroke in the front all wrapped into a blanket a idea fore up inside of the vampire head. As he approached him Reiki would attempt to grap one side of the blanket to open it so he could sneak himself in to seat beside him before wrapping back the blanket around so both of them would be seating thier together wrapped in a blanket. Giving a side glance over at the hellhound in search for a reaction over this action didn't say anything though as the catsune gaze was focused on this guy he not even know who he was or what sort of position he hold here. Didn't really matter. He looked tasty wondering how his blood would smell like. Thinking about this a sanister of a smirk fore up across the vampire lips.

  • FUELLING THE FLAMES

*:・゚✦ Roman was momentarily confused to hear Osric's voice but shook it off quickly. Fourthwall was usually the one calling meetings and doing monthly tasks but he wasn't the only Outlaw. It made more sense to have them alternate, actually. It was probably stranger that the cat hadn't done a meeting yet. Pulling out of his thoughts, the hellhound came over and sat down quickly, looking at Osric.

    "Speech."

  • Osric was holding the meeting? The girl's ears pricked up at the sound and she made her way over, turning her attention fully on the outlaw. This would be interesting.

    - goodbye muse

  • can you see the panic inside

    i'm making you uneasy aren't i —

He didn't really feel like showing up, but nonetheless, he new he should. Anxiousthoughts walked over to where the group was gathering, ready to hear about whatever events and promotions or demotions had happened since the last meeting that had happened.

    "speech"

  • GUIDE THE MADNESS FROM THE BLIND —

Kulîk-Makara hadn't been around as much as he probably should've been, but that was because he'd been out wandering and seeing what the other groups around here were like to see if he'd like to have a dual alliance with some place. The odd hybrid looked up at Osric, assuming Fourthwall would be there soon and that the two of them would start the actual information part of the meeting.

THEY CALL KIDS LIKE US VICIOUS AND CARVED OUT OF STONE

I guess if I was going to be honest, I hadn't really thought about stuff like sharing the Leadership duties with Osric. Don't get me wrong- that wasn't to say that I hadn't planned on sharing the jobs, just that I hadn't really put any thought into a schedule. Stuff would just kind of happen as it happened in my mind. If he wanted to lead the meetings or something he'd just say so, and if I wanted to do something I'd do the same. Structure or fairness, taking turns, it wasn't something I'd really put a lot of thought into. Had Osric? Probably. He was a lot more organized than I was, which was one of the reason I'd promoted him up to Outlaw with me. He was a good balance to me, my opposite on the spectrum in a lot of ways, and I'm sure he'd considered things that I hadn't.

Whatever the felines reasons were for hosting this weeks meeting they didn't bother me. Hearing the call from where I'd been lounging indoors by one of the many fireplaces in the Great Hall, I'd shake out my coat, stretch my lazy bones, and padded out into the Courtyard to join the rest of the clan. Osric was already up there and a few others had gathered beneath him. Many of them were newcomers and I was surprised- in a good way. A lot of our newcomers had a tendency of showing up once and then taking off before they gave the place a chance, but Deathstroke, Kulik and Reiki were all among those to be spotted.

Hopping up on the rim of the fountain to balance there with Osric, I'd wait for the other male to continue with the meeting, more than happy to let him take the reigns for the gathering

He is a person who -instead of gods or reincarnation- thinks that he is just a character made up in a story, and so nothing he says or does has any real consequence. This allows him to suppress emotions like guilt or hesitation in order to enrich his life, as he believes that nobody is actually real, and so none of the bad things he does to others in order to enjoy himself are real either. He will often refer to his 'Writer' during 1st person posts and complain about the way they write him or his story, and is convinced that the entire world and FF's reality is just some big story.

  • The shadowy wolf took his place beside Astralpaw at the meeting with a bemused look upon his face when he fully internalized Osric was the one calling the shots for once. It made sense though considering the feline was now the other leader. In truth Kayn still struggled to look at the cat with the same respect he showed Fourthwall, but Osric had gained that position of his own merits and even the jaded mind of the black wolf understood that. He'd follow his mentor, perhaps misguidedly, until the very last breath if it was in defense of the Rogues and that meant following Osric with the same determination.

Kayn offered forth a dip of his head towards the two leaders before scanning the gathering in a quick attempt to see who had shown up. Deathstroke was there which the young wolf was still getting used to. There were however two others that the Master didn't recognize which was of notable interest enough, but they'd have to prove themselves useful if Kayn was going to give them much more thought. Still though they were a part of the group and that meant they were one of the people that he very well might end up dying for one day.

The ebony lupine returned his attention to the pair of leaders with a snarky grin on his face. "Now Osric is calling the meetings? The world really has turned upside down," Kayn prodded jokingly, although it really was an odd site to see the former second-in-command announcing the clans important news.

  • 「 i am a question to the world

not an answer to be heard 」

Crownpaw made his way over at the call of a meeting, a little surprised to see Osric calling it together. He really shouldn't be; the feline was the co-leader after all. However, Fourth typically took charge in these kinds of situations, and it was interesting to see Osric stepping up. The helljaguar took a seat beside Kayn and Astral, the three musketeers, and turned his gaze to his mentor. What would he have to say? Would this meeting be different under him? It was hard for meetings to be too much different from each other, though. Crown's thoughts raced as he sat there silently, awaiting what would happen. At least he was here with his friends, whatever came.

  • OSRIC !

Osric let out a good-natured laugh at Kayn's comment. 'Believe it or not, this isn't my first run as leader,' the tom responded, stopping short of launching into a back-in-my-day spiel. His backstory really wasn't exciting enough for that.

But, anyway, the courtyard had filled and it was about time Osric got to it. Although his meeting skills were a little rusty, he could feel the rhythm of it coming back to him. 'Okay, promotion announcement first: Callie, Fourth and I have decided to promote you to Recruit! Congratulations!' the chocolate point began, leaving a few moments before continuing.

'Last week, Astral visited several groups to get an update on our neutrals. Blizzardclan and The Sanctuary weren't particularly excited to hear from us, but apart from that, it was good news. Here's the thread for the full update. We'll be looking to push some of our stronger neutral relations up to alliances next.'

'Last but not least from me, I will be holding a combat tournament in the very near future, so if you'd like to take part, please sign-up as soon as possible! Here's the sign-up thread. The Frontier have been invited to join in, so it won't just be us,' Osric concluded. He turned to look at Fourthwall, who was perched on the fountain edge beside him. 'Anything you want to add, Fourth?'

THEY CALL KIDS LIKE US VICIOUS AND CARVED OUT OF STONE

I listened quietly as Osric went about with the announcements, waiting until it was my turn to speak. My posts was hella lame because my RPer was wanting to get some threads up in the board, but it was enough to get the point across to the others so I decided to forgive it in exchange for the promise of more to do later. "Uh, yeah. First off, I want to encourage you guys to engage with our newer members. I'm going to be working over the next week or two to draw more in but it will ultimately be you guys that convince them weather to stay or not by how welcome you make them feel. If you see open threads in the board then check them out and involve yourself so that our newbies know they aren't being ignored. Most of us are pretty good but we don't want a reputation for being a clique that doesn't interact with newcomers." I'd noticed that some of the newcomers open threads weren't getting as much attention as they should and we needed to up our consistency with the community. "Secondly, I'm going to be working on the clans physical aspect over the next several weeks. That means activities that promote us getting off our asses and doing stuff, be they hunting patrols, training sessions, spars, or raids. We were able to achieve activity and frontboard status because we weren't afraid to antagonize our enemies, which is what ultimately got our name out among the clans. I plan to do this again, which means I need everyone active and alert so that we don't get our asses handed to us in the raids we launch or receive. The Sanguine Ruins is our target for now. Captures and tortures should be directed at them, and any retaliation raids they send our way we need to be ready for. We have to engage with active clans to become an active clan, so with Astral and Osric working to strengthen our ties to our allies and Neutrals, I'm going to be working to get things stirred up with our enemies. Your all encouraged to make some waves yourself as well. Brainwash their apprentices into running with us, fuck up their HP's in one on one battles, do whatever you want but try to keep it directed at the Sanguine Ruins. It'll be rough on us for a while, but we'll come out stronger just like we did last time."
