    HE’S GOT STARS IN HIS EYES —

    jukeboxhero was truly bored out of his mind. the bernese mountain dog sat in camp, looking off into the distance with a glum expression. many of his new clanmates were busy with their responsibilities, and he longed to be included. juke loved to be busy, it stimulated his mind and kept him entertained. being bored was almost painful to the pup.


    jukeboxhero was torn from his thoughts when his attention caught on a bright monarch butterfly. his tail began to wag and the pup stood up and began to follow after the winged creature. the monarch had landed, almost as if it was mocking the mountain dog’s crippled speed.


    almost caught up to the iridescent insect, his persuits were abruptly interrupted by a sand covered rock that caught his good back leg. juke tripped comically into the sand, and the startled butterfly flew away leaving him on the ground giggling on the ground.

    The female did not expect to see Jukeboxhero falling upon the ground, but she felt herself burst out in laughter. What a surprise! Archipelagoisland did feel rude about doing so, but this was an opportunity she could not miss out on, especially on such a potential-filled apprentice. Nevertheless, she tried to contain it as she wandered over. Coming to the male's side, she offered out a paw as a kind gesture, hoping she could lift him up from the ground(along with lifting his own spirit in the meantime). "Looks like you need a bit of support," she joked.


    If he accepted, she'd pull him up and then bring him to his feet with a swift jerk. "Oh Jukebox," Archipelagoisland enthused lightly. "You need to watch your step."

    jukeboxhero was surprised to hear another laugh, and even more surprised to see that it came from the leader. the pup froze. he hadn't really spoken to the feline yet, and wanted to make a good impression seeing as she led the rift. before he could do anything, archipelagoisland came closer and offered him a paw of support.


    the bernese mountain dog accepted willingly, and smiled at her comment. she was certainly right, he did need to watch his top more. "thanks ma'am!", he chimed as he shook his fur of sand from the fall. the childish manner he possessed was very contrasting to his size. juke hadn't always been like this, but since his memories were wiped, he didn't really know any better. "you're archi, right?", he added, not bothering to try her full name as he remembered it was quite complex.
