  • ミTAGS && like everybody else who knows, the news of lucien's abandonment hangs heavy overhead like a cloud, stormy and grey and ugly. anxious murmurs pass by her, the discussion and gossip thick. she hears talk of murder from those who are mostly in the dark and part of chica wants to snap that she wishes that was the case. another part wants to snarl at them he isn't worthy of their words. the son of a bitch left a dying group with nothing but a dear john letter, too cowardly to look a single one of them in the eye. the thought pisses her off and though the gossip has only just started she wants it to die down and just go away. the ginger toes the center of camp, head held high as a short call befalls her lips, gruff in nature, "oi everyone, listen 'ere and listen close." the temptress summons a little crowd and finds curious eyes on her build. after a quick pause to make sure she's got their attention, she carries on. "alright so for those of you that don't know, lucien hauled ass and left. i don't know where he is and i don't care, either. the man is gone and really, not our problem, what our problem is, is that he didn't think ta appoint anyone in his place, so reyna an' me are taking control of the sanctuary if the rest of you are good with that." she doesnt see why anyone wouldnt be okay with this arrangment but oh, the deja-vu sure is laying on thick. she's top-dog once again, leading her home with someone else, once again. if not for the severity of the situation, chica might have been smirking at how history repeats itself. instead she sits there, stone-faced but smoldering with smoke and jaw clenched, "if reyna ain't got anything else ta add, just know that we'll have an actual meeting this sunday and then ya can carry on as usual."

/pretty sure everybody already knows what's up but i'll repeat myself anyway-- happeh handed leadership over to sevenand me, and we're going to do our best at looking over this place! there's a discussion thread in the ooc board that everyone can check out (:

  • the news of the previous shepherd's disappearance has certainly reached coffee's ears by now, yes. of course, he's upset by the ordeal as a whole -- it's just rude, to put it rather kindly. should he be angry? probably, if he wants to follow in his mother's footsteps. should he just go with the flow? definetly. and that's his plan for now: see how the situation folds out. it appears that chica has stepped up to the plate, taking lucien's place, and a brief sense of euphoria passes through the canid. he'll slowly make his way over to the feline as she barks out her plan of action, nodding in tune with her words as he places himself down with a huff. "got it, boss," he rambles off instinctively, shooting the femme with a grin he hopes dispells the rather dark, grim mood that seems to be hanging about.

  • -- Reyna --

Her approach to the front of the group was slow, almost to the point where watching the wolf make her way towards her new co-leader was a little painful. Reyna quite clearly had something on her mind, though what specifically was weighing her down out of all these current events was unclear. Although, maybe that was just it; everything was causing the hooded creature to frown and move slowly. She too, was angry. But not enough to lash out or direct that rage into a focused drive like Chica seemed to be. Instead, Reyna merely sat beside her fellow. Words, though, still appeared to be coming to her, as the wolf eventually did raise her voice after reaching her destination. "I think you've said everything" Came that familiar steely voice, though perhaps in a slightly lower tone than the norm. Really, she didn't know how to feel about this. The cloaked figured had avoided taking this position several times before in the past, but now here she was. Ha, if only her old friends could see her.
