William silently sat within his damp and dimly lit cell with his dark brooding eyes focused only on one particular thing. He was seated with his broad back leaned against the cement wall, angled so he could keep his unwavering glare on the officer that was slowly slipping into an uncomfortable slumber. There was a desk before the tired man with the keys set on top of it lazily. Rookie mistake. Will couldn't comprehend why they never intensified security after him and his companions were caught for what had to be the fourth time since all of this started, each time they were out within a few hours. Finally the officers head lolled back, the caramel skinned teen's que to rise and execute the plan he had already formed in his mind. He stood to his full height and stepped to the barred cell door reaching out his hands to grasp the bars as he glanced to the other cells where his accomplices were held. "Keiran? Natalia? Ya'll ready to get the hell out of this dump?" His voice was low, careful not to wake the officer as he spoke. Carefully he turned so that he could see the keys and reached out a hand to focus his powers to bring them to his cell. There was no doubt there were security cameras, there always was, so this had to go quickly and without any flaws. They metal keys rose making soft a soft clatter as they shifted but Will didn't stop his concentration. "Keiran as soon as I'm out and unlock your door I need you to knock him out while I let Natalia go." Steadily he brought the cluster of metal objects closer to him, if he worked too fast the sounds would inevitably wake the man just feet away.

Keiran stood against the wall of the small dim cell. His dark eyes scanned the block carefully, though it wasn't as if he hadn't memorized it before. This wasn't his first time being locked up for one of the many crimes he and his companions had committed, and he doubted it would be the last. Therefore, he was used to being in confinement like this, but as usual it wouldn't last long. It never did with them and the police never seemed to learn from their past mistakes. He took his hand to the rusty iron bars of the cell, lightly tapping them with his finger and listening to the low, yet familiar sound that reverberated through his small cement room. He was just passing time. Passing time until the opportunity came for them to find an escape. He turned his attention to the security officer on the farther end of the cell block. It didn't seem the man was interested in keeping them in this place any more than he was interested in getting his beauty sleep. This was probably one of the worst possible mistakes the man could make, but Kieran didn't feel the slightest pity. That man would unintentionally help them escape, be blamed for their escape most likely. It would be his fault anyways. He cast his stern gaze away from the officer, and towards one of the cells across the way upon hearing William's voice. He could see the keys move ever so slowly away from the officer, who still slept as if nothing was happening. A small grin split across his lips and he moved towards the cell bars, grabbing them eagerly in his hands, ready to act as soon as the bars opened. He was careful enough not to make a lot of noise, in case the officer woke up. "You got it." He said, ready to follow the orders William gave him. He would knock the guy out, careful not to kill him. He wanted the guy to wake up and realize what had happened yet again. He almost wished he could stay around to see his reaction. Though, Keiran refocused away from his thoughts and onto the current situation, watching as the shiny keys inched a bit closer to William as he focused his powers on them.

Bastion continued to nibble the end of his pen until the not so satisfying crack signified he'd been thinking for to long. With a sigh he let the cracked black plastic fall from his lips and set it on the table beside him. He grabbed blindly at the table behind him as he grabbed another, not learning his lesson, and placed it back between his teeth to start the process all over again. In his lap was a worn paperback book, a detective novel, pockmarked with various colored chicken scratch.

He was stretched out across the couch, his knees drawn up at an angle so he could read the book. One arm rested across his stomach and moved only to flip pages but the other flopped to the ground and held the TV remote, his inability to stop fidgeting meant Bastion was mindlessly flicking through the channels. 'One order blue team - yesterday we saw a storm front - the lion stalks - on the bus go round-and - known as the convicts were arrested in - I can't keep.' He stopped flipping through the channels suddenly, going back to the new channel. He let his legs fall and the book slip from his lap as he turned to face the TV.

"The convicts who are well known for their reign of terror in many cities across the country have been arrested. Although they have proven themselves capable of escape the city has expressed their belief that they will now remain in custody until facing trail." Bastion threw himself across the couch, landing on his stomach with a 'oof' and reaching for his cell phone. He tapped in the pass code and went to the last group chat he had been in, his two best friends. Excitedly he texted them, dropping the pen and rising from the couch. He moved to grab his jacket and boots as he typed. 'guys did you see the news?? no of course not. convicts are in jail - we have to go see them!! meet up there? county jail near the mall' He sent the texts in rapid succession.

He slipped on his red converse shoes, hoping and almost falling as he did. He slid on his red and black windbreaker as he darted out the door, not able to hide the giddy smile on his lips. He started walking towards the jail, although he was a little disappointed they hadn't caught them he couldn't pass up the chance to see if these kids were really had powers like him and his friends.

ooc// figure they could witness them escape? since it seemed like it might be a bit before they actually escaped or they could show up just after the escape.

The brunette sighed as she tucked a stray strand of her hair behind her ear as she came through the door, placing the keys on a key hanger that was visible on the wall right after you enter the house. Her current guardian came through the door after her, stretching and yawning loudly that she couldn't help but yawn with him from how contagious his exhaustion was somehow.

"I'm going up to sleep now. You did good - as always - but your left hand still needs work, Den. Trust me, it's going to be a problem one day."

He said as he headed for the stairs and started going upstairs, talking to her with his back turned to her. Den nodded and sighed, knowing that he was speaking the truth. Eden went upstairs after him, but to her room, closing the door after her and sitting onto the bed. She got out her pistol that she had looped through her belt and started reloading the bullets into it as the current set wouldn't last long since she had wasted most of it today. She had been chewing on her bottom lip absent-mindedly as her mind was clogged with random thoughts that seemed to be all over the place and she didn't seem to be conscious of her surroundings to the extent that when her phone did the ring sound she was startled and dropped the bullet she was about to put in the slide. It took her a few moments of blankly staring at the phone before she realized it was a message and mentally chastised herself for being so zoned-out. She placed the pistol onto the counter beside her bed and grabbed her phone, opening the message. Den couldn't help but grin at the news.

❝Why would I watch the news when I have you to tell me? And sure. Meet you there~!"

Her thumbs tapped on the screen quickly and formed the text before clicking send. Since she was already wearing a checkered shirt and jeans, she just grabbed the bullet she had dropped and loaded it quickly before she darted down the stairs towards the door. Grabbing her sport shoes rather than her normal shoes since their way more comfortable for her and a jacket before she grabbed the keys and sat on the doorstep, quickly wearing her shoes before getting up. She looped the gun into her belt, put the keys into her pocket and started speed-walking towards the county jail.

    ❝Speech❞ // 'Thought'

  • Rika West

Altruists Leader [♀] / Pyrokinesis / Interacting with: NPCs

What was the point of life? Waking up, going to school, interacting with people who really don't give a shit about how your day went. It was so booooooring. Being born with some crazy inhuman ability should of made life more fun right? Wrong! Still stuck going to school, still listen to parents bitching and complaining, still the same old thing day in and day out. If it's not fun then there is not point to it. The young teen pouted as she crossed her arms over her designer dress and watched the world pass through her mismatched eyes. Growing bored with the scenery, the Asian flopped down on the black leather couch and kicked her feet in the air while sighing dramatically.

You know what we should do?

"I'm not supposed to talk to you." Rika grunted loudly drawing the eyes of her driver to her.

    "Did you say something, Miss?"

"Nope, just talking to myself." Her crimson colored lips flashed that heartwarming smile that had gotten her into the modeling career at such a young age. That is where she was being driven too right now, work and on her day off too. It was such a pain.

Aw, don't be like that. If you don't like it we could just burn it all to the ground. Come on, Kid. It'll be fun. Think of all the chaos, the screaming, the fire and destruction.

Rika ignored the voice in her head in favor of the buzzing sound coming from the ground. Blindly searching for her phone, she found it underneath the couch, grabbing it and reading the text from Bastian. The Convicts....which convicts? It took her a few seconds to actually put the dots together. Oh, those Convicts. She was game. Sitting up, the ravenette swung her feet over the side of the couch and skillfully made her way to the door, pulling the handle while the limo was still in motion. The screech of breaks and lurch of the vehicle seriously put her sense of balance to the test, she remained standing barely.

Ignoring the sounds of horns honking and the screech of more tires against the road, she hops out onto the sidewalk as the driver comes around. She pays no mind to what he's saying to busy sticking her phone in her handbag and glancing around at street signs while walking off without a word to the driver who was dealing with upset pedestrians.

"Those shoes and purse aren't even in stores yet!" The exclamation from some woman and her group of friends has Rika's attention when she noticed one of them was smoking.

"You can have them if you give me all the lighters you have got on you?" Her mother had recently confiscated her secret stash she was in need of some new ones. It was possible for her to mentally manifest her flames, but it caused her a massive migraine and a serious nosebleed. It was easier just taking it from another source. While she pulled off her heels and grabbed her phone from out of her bag, she handed them over and got five gas station lighters in return. With a smile and a wave, the barefooted teen skipped her way down the sidewalk.

'Going to be a little late, sorry.' She texted back to the other two and pocketed her phone while humming to herself. Having friends made up for her boring life she guesses.

  • Sorry just haven't been a good place mentally after I found out I failed and exam. Ill make a post now, again sorry for wait y'all <3

As the keys moved further away from the sleeping man William concentrated on making them move faster to his outstretched hand. Within moments he snatched them out of the air and moved to reach the lock. With a satisfying click the cell door creaked open, the officer stirred but showed no signs of waking quite yet. Silently slinking to Keiran's enclosure Will inserted another key from the ring and turned it, earning another low click. Giving a ghost of a triumphant smirk he swung it open suddenly careless how much noise was being made in the process. The cop jumped at the loud whine that came the metal door. The leader of the trio nodded to his companion "Have at him." Struggling to wipe the sleep from his eyes it seemed the cop couldn't believe that the cons were out of their cells. Ignoring the man and trusting that Keiran would cover him Will moved the the next enclosure and quickly unlocked it just like he had with the other two doors. Making sure Natalia was alright he kept out of the way as the lazy cop scrambled to stand and stared wide eyed at the teens before him.

Kieran kept his eyes on the silver keys as they slowly yet gradually, inched towards Will. The cop had yet to wake up from his nap, luckily, and stayed put, ignorant of the situation around him. In no time, Will had unlocked his own cell and was beginning opening Keiran's cell door. He waited patiently, staring at the keys in the lock until he heard the clicking sound that came from them. It was possibly one of the most satisfying sounds to him at this point, and was followed by the loud creaking of the cell door. The amount of noise no longer mattered. Kieran would fix whatever and whoever was alerted by it all. He lifted his gaze to Will and nodded at his words, his small grin growing larger as he stepped from the enclosure walls with a large skyward stretch of his arms. "Leave it to me." He looked over to the cop as Will moved to the next cage, eyeing the now awake man with a dark devilish glare and the cracking his knuckles. This was going to be fun. He didn't bother to check if the man had a gun with him, it wouldn't matter. With inhuman speed, Kieran slammed his fist into the man before him, feeling the warmth of blood trickling across his pale skin. He watched the man collapse backwards, but didn't stop there. The cop would probably be out cold with a punch like that, but one could never be too safe, right? Quickly, Kieran pinned the man down with one hand, and punched him a once or twice more with the other hand. He scanned the man for a moment, seeing his eyes closed, but still hearing his low breathing. Kieran stood up, wiping his hand across his face, leaving a small trail of blood around his cheek. He stepped away from the man and glanced at Will and Natalia. "We ready to get a move on?" He asked.

ooc; PaleLight That suck! Hope things get better for you soon. :3

Bastion was pacing in front of the police station waiting for the rest of his group to show up. He was across the street and was sneaking in pointless glances to try and see them. Of course their were no windows that would show them so the looking was futile. In his pocket his phone buzzed and he read the first text. 'glad to be of service. see ya soon.' He returned it to his pocket and crouched down, picking at a random bunch of grass growing through the side walk.

It wasn't long before the phone was buzzing again and he pulled it out to check. This one was from the leader. She was rich, Bastion wasn't sure how rich but he knew she could buy everything he owned ten times over. It wasn't often he thought about, he didn't care really. He loved his friends simply because he thought they were the best, no matter what their situations. They had been friend forever after all and had promised more then once they would be together no matter what, they had been the first people he had even come out to and he was proud to be their GBF.

'cool cool," he sent and then, 'but also hurry cause i'm lonely.' Also, he thought to himself, knowing how often they escape it wouldn't be a surprise if they came bursting out those doors any second. He chuckled, what were the chances he could see that. It kinda sucked that they had already been caught, did it mean they weren't special as the altruists had thought? But they had to be, Rika had seen them and they had all agreed that it would be impossible to do what they did without some kind of magical assistance.

// that sucks I hope tings get better soon, i've got midterms starting soon too and I need to get my grades up.

also weird thought but i haven't seen a sidewalk in a long time... i live in a very small town and we don't have any.

William watched with an approving look as Keiran did what he did best and beat the cop bloody. His mahogany eyes lingered on the blood smeared on the assassin's cheek, a dark look brewed in his eyes as he gave a curt nod to the question aimed to him. Every heist, crime, and dealing they were leaving more blood and partaking in more violent acts. Will wasn't bothered in the least though, rather he found it even more exhilarating to have a bit of a tussle. After all, no one had been able to stop them yet and it was becoming more and more obvious that no one could. They were unstoppable. Without word he turned and let his eyes dart around for anymore people. Moving with an aura of confidence he ignored the cameras in the corners of the room and opened the door leading to the rest of the jail. As he stepped through other criminals perked up and began clamoring at the sight of the trio. "Lets go! The other pigs are probably almost on our asses." William ushered the two and quickly rushed down the hall lined with a few angry prisoners. As if on cue an alarm sounded and two officers ran through the door behind them but the teen didn't slow his pace as he neared the exit. They were yelling for them to freeze, to stop and get on the ground, to not be crazy and try to outrun their guns. Will just barely smirked to himself, they should know better, they should know that everyone's a little crazy. Just before bursting through the door he glanced over his shoulder and flipped the two cops off. With irate expressions they pointed their pistols forward and fired as if they were at target practice. Bursting through the door to the outside world Will let out a breathy laugh before immediately checking to make sure the other two came through the door safely.

Ooc: Thank you guys, I'm doing alright now I guess just kinda disappointed. And you dont have sidewalks where you live? That's odd lol

Altruists Leader [♀] / Pyrokinesis / Interacting with: Sebastian

[OOC: I am super intrigued the lack of sidewalks for some reason, your town doesn't have one sidewalk? Is it all grass and road?]

The girl yawned as she stared at the passing scenery of the buildings, the sky, and more buildings. She'd never understand why people seemed to enjoy looking out the window, it was boring. Rika turned her head back to look at the people on the bus, there was some creep leering at her, a lady who seemed perplexed with the lack of shoes Rika had, and finally the kid who seemed amazed with her fire trick. The teen was playing with one of the lighters she had, lighting it and pulling the flame free to make it dance along her knuckles like one might a coin before extinguishing the flame in a closed fist and starting over again. The brat seemed to be the only one paying any mind to her hand. The buzzing of her phone had her pulling it from a pocket and smiling warmly at Sebastian text, see having friends made life so much better. She doubted she'd have these friends if it weren't for her....talent. She didn't have to hide herself with them, or at least most of herself.

    I'm you're friend aren't I?

Rika paid no heed to the voice for her stop was here. As the bus pulled to the stop, the teen pocketed her lighter and phone and got up. She gave a charming smile and a waved to the little boy, chuckling to herself as she climbed off the bus and watched him waving back as it rolled away. So cute and innocent, so easy to corrupt. Rika turned her eyes towards the police station, spotting Bastian as she skipped along the sidewalk. "Bastian! Were you lonely?" The tiny teen cried as she darted over to wrap the other in a hug. So Rika was a little clingy and touchy, sue her. "Where's-" The leader cut herself off as she heard the alarm going off from within.

    It's wasn't me!

She hushed the voice as her smile fell from her ruby painted lips, this was no time for games. What was going on here? "Where's Eden?" She asked, losing all her playfulness.

Kieran glanced up for a moment to look around at the security cameras in the room. He was surprised, really, that they had yet to affect the trio's escape. The police at this station really must not know what they were doing when it came to them. He looked back down from the dark metal cameras and watched as Will spoke, opened the door and made his way quickly out the door. Without hesitation Kieran followed closely behind him. As he ran he caught a glimpse at some of the other prisoners from the corner of his eye. they seemed pe followed after William and co as they made their way out the door. They seemed mad, maybe jealous that they had managed to escape. It didn't matter though. They couldn't escape because they were clever enough. They didn't have the powers or bonds that Kieran and his group hand. Even if they could escape, they wouldn't get far. The alarm cut of Keiran's thoughts, and he refocused as he heard a few armed guards by the doors from him. He knew full well that their threats wouldn't effect Will, and they wouldn't effect him either. He could easily out run these cops, despite having a weapon like a gun. Speed was kind of one of the many things keeping him alive. He kept running till he was fully outside, glancing back quickly to look for both Will and Natalia, as well as the bullets being shot at them. they were capable enough to get out of this, no doubt about it, but if they stayed still to long they would be shot.

    *:・゚★Power isn't good or bad; it's

the way you use it that is.*:・°★

The brunette started picking up the pace from speed-walking down the pavement to jogging to full out running. The county jail was close to her house since her guardian is an officer, so she chose to just walk there, but her excitement took over her and she started running to get there quickly. Unfortunately for her, she had to walk through the neighborhood's downtown.

A crowd of pedestrians suddenly blocked her way; like a wall build from humans. She cursed under her breathe as she stopped to a halt a foot away from the crowd. She hated them, too many touchys by strangers even if it wasn't meant to be like that, it still got on her nerves. She closed that foot-length space and started pushing through the crowd, and right as she was in the middle, the light for the pedestrain cross turned green and people started pushing her just to gt to the otherside quickly. She ended up elbowing a person or two, maybe even three, just to get through the crowd and not to fall on her arse. She patted her clothes before running again. Her phone buzzed in her pocket, but she ignored it and kept running. 'Why did I walk?! I could've taken the bus and been there by now!' She chastised herself mentally.

As she was running, she felt the pressure of the pistol against her vanish as it fell from her belt with a soft thud. She quickly stopped again and reached for it, just as another guy swooped it up. Eden's eyes widened as he grabbed it and she reached to yank it out of his hand, but he just dodged. "You know..a young girl like you-" Eden rolled her eyes and grabbed his other arm quickly, twisting it in an uncomfortable position. "Drop the pistol, or I won't hesitate to break your arm." Eden said, and the guy dropped it immediately. She left his arm and grabbed it, looping it again in her belt while glaring daggers at him before turning around and continuing to run.

A left and then a right turn and she saw the county jail not too far, the sound of alarm and she sprinted the last bit. She stopped to a halt a two feet away from her friends, walking the rest of the small distance. "I'm here. Just had a few difficulties. Remind me not to sprint when I'm needed somewhere quickly again." She said, tucking her hair behind her ear as she took her breath silently but in a quick manner. She wasn't that tired, but she had ti take her breathe even if she's used to running and sprinting for extended times. Her eyes landed on the door as it burst open and a guy. "Is that one of the trio we're following?" She asked, pointing towards him.

ooc; should Bastion know about Rika's voices, if he can hear surface thoughts do you think he could hear the different voice talking to her at times?

Bastion smiled brightly when Rika finally appeared and wrapped him in a hug. "Yeah, I was," he said through fake sobs returning the hug. He pulled away to see Eden jogging towards them and pointed her out to Rika. "She's coming now." He turned to look towards the police station, now blaring alarms. Seconds later out dashed one of the members of the trio. He jaw almost hit the ground, he had guessed it. In response to Edens question he said, "Yeah that's one, the cute one or the violent one, the cute and violent one, I think."

"What do we do? What do we do? Should we arrest them? You have a gun right, Eden, scare 'im!" All the horrible ideas were flying through his mind. But finally the good one clicked into place and he scrambled to get his phone out, snapping pictures of each person who came out the door. He heard the gunshots from inside and winced, he power couldn't protect him from anything and he was sort of a wimp. He wasn't sure if they could follow them, if the convicts got into a car they would lose them in seconds and Bastion wasn't sure if he was ready to tussle with three well-known magical criminals.

He didn't go after them, seeing as they were in no way prepared to do anything if they caught them. He was going to have to make a plan we got home, seeing them for real had just spurred his want to stop them even more. Partly because he wanted to help them and partly because he thought the convicts were just plain badass and wanted to one-up-em. And they were misusing their powers. He wanted to sit them down and tell them that you could cheat on a test with your powers but robbing banks was a tad to much. A tad meaning 'a whole fucking lot' in this case. "Should we hide?" Not sure if it was a good idea for the convicts to see their faces yet, or take them hostage to help in their escape like in the movies.

// sidwalks continued - yeah, basically grass and road - it's a coastal community so some parts of the road are bordered by grass on one side and coast on the other, plus there is only one paved road in my part of town (i live in two-towns-in-one, which are connected by a 3 min drive.) it's the weirdest town, we have (nice) dirt roads that lead to a single house no one lives in right on a cliff above the ocean and one that leads to three houses and then goes past them and right into the bog, becomes too small for cars, goes over two hillsides, stops on a completely different road, on a mountain, in the other town. now that I think about it is really is weird lol.

  • Rika West

Altruists Leader [♀] / Pyrokinesis / Interacting with: Sebastian and Eden

[OOC: Where you live sounds awesome scenery-wise. I live in the country I have cows to look at those don't do much. As for the voice, sure, Sebastian can hear it. It's normally pretty quiet, just whispers and comments, but when it gets really loud he could be able to hear it.]

Rika's eyes wandered the faces as one by one pedestrians were drawn to the loud sound coming from the station. Logically it would probably be better if one avoiding such a thing, it was a jail where criminals were held. If the alarms were going off don't you think you should head for your homes and hide rather than standing around waiting for trouble? Why was it that people seemed so drawn to the disarray.

You need a little anarchy, a little chaos, otherwise life is just plain dull. Death now that gets the blood flowing!

Rika's eyes turned over to Eden as she walked the rest of the way over to them. Her hair looked a little windblown, but besides that she looked alright. Rika's eyes went back to the station as the door burst open and some guys exited. She stifled her urge to giggle as Sebastian dubbed them cute one and the violent one. She went back to frowning as more stuff spewed out of his mouth, he sounded just a little hysterical. Considering that they were all still in high school, had no police training save Eden perhaps, and no badge she was pretty sure they couldn't arrest anyone. Waving a gun around probably wasn't a good idea either, more and more pedestrians seemed to be gathering around, she knew Den couldn't miss what she aimed at with the one arm, but still. Considering these guys had just busted out of prison full of armed cops, she was getting the feeling guns didn't phase them and all they'd do is draw unwanted attention.

She did like the hiding idea, that sounded like a decent idea to her. She was doubting these guys were interested in the whole hostage game, kidnapping people was a bother unless you were getting something really good out of it. If she just recently broken out of prison after robbing a bank she'd probably want to find somewhere to sit tight for a bit and hide from the cops. Just for a little bit before making a new plan of action. If they kept under the convicts radar it shouldn't be too hard to follow them?

Unless they have a getaway car then you're screw! Hahaha.

Hmmmm.....she hadn't thought about that. She pushed away how amused that voice was while watching the Convicts. "I would suggest we don't draw attention to ourselves and don't do anything right now" She said softly, thinking out loud in a fraction of the second it took her to run through two different scenarios in her head. "They just broke out of prison, the cops are going to be looking for them, It'll be suspicious if we do anything out of the ordinary." Her eyes flickering around to the people who were taking their phones out and either snapping pictures or recording the breakout. "We can look for them later, they'll need somewhere to hide out and it will give us chance to discuss what we're doing." She kept her voice light and airy, no one seemed to be paying any mind to them, as she waited to hear any other ideas or objections..
