  • i was thinking a cute best friends plot where they hang out all the time and everyone already thinks they’re dating but they swear theyre nothing more than friends . but theyre super close and share everything with one another and then one day one of them starts dating someone the other hates and it causes a big rift in their relationship . because not only is their best friend dating the person they hate more than anything but they actually find themselves really jealous .

    || DAWN STONE ||

    her mom named her dawn because she believes that her daughter will be a bright individual . at the age of 16 her mom realize that was a good choice . dawn is a very intelligent young woman with high hopes for herself . she grew up with one moral system which shapes her into the person she is today . dawn is also very down to earth and have only a few interest . because of this she tends to overthink things sometimes and gets frustrated whenever things gets too tough . dawn is very emotional and tends to get her feelings hurt quicker than anyone else would . this girl is very conscientiousness . which means she is very organized and always on time for things . she acts like her mother most of the time , even sometimes disciplining herself when needed . dawn is very punctual and never misses important dates and times . very hardworking for someone her age . its rare if she ever gets bored at doing something . she believes that making things fun can limit the amount of time you spend on something , no matter the task . dawn believes in preserving natural and memorable things . fun-loving and the 'life of the party' , dawn knows her weaknesses and doesn't go over her limit . she agrees with what she believes in and is not afraid to speak her mind . she is good natured and often gullible to certain people and their situations . unfortunately dawn can also become forgiving to virtually everybody and this leads to her becoming insecure . but this doesn't stop her from being a great person that her mother envisioned her to be .

  • Okay here you are!

    Brief History: Franks parents were, in the sparse and blurry memories, really close and loving people. Although he only knew his mom for 5 years he at least knew that. Due to sickness and the strain of having a child, she died as his sister, Maya, was born. The already somewhat financially strapped family then became desperate as the father had two children to look after alone. Luckily their grandparents were there to help somewhat financially but his father was never the same, and neither was Frank. The already shy and reserved boy took further into his shell as his father became distant and uncaring, his grandparents did their best but it wasn't the same with no real parent figures. Luckily he did have an affinity for music which let him move forward in life and create a bond with his sister. Some of his fondest memories were of sharing an earbud with her and silently listening to music. Fast forward a little bit and he's completely focused on high school and his grades. Honors, AP, and extracurricular's control his life as he looks to get into the college of his choosing with ease. His relationship with his father is still shaky at best but his sister is now one of his closest friends and even though he's a fair bit older than her they both look after each other at all times. Although Frank did endure his bullying for the earbuds constantly around his neck or in his ears, he took it fairly well by learning to deal with conflict and growing some fairly thick skin. His school wasn't of the highest caliber, that much was certain, but by taking advantages of all the opportunities given to him he got a nice scholarship out in Florida. It was still a hard decision, to leave his sister alone, even if she was fairly old at the time, was hard. Ultimately though with her assurance he took the risk and moved out. With all of his best friends, including his sister, back home Frank was forced to branch out a bit. Probably for the better though, he progressed a bit as a person and was able to focus on other things behind school.

    Personality: Frank has always been a very closed in person. Not in the sense that he seems nervous or completely social inept. Rather he doesn't care enough to try. It can be pretty hard to get a reaction out of him if he doesn't want you to, something he learned early in life. When it comes to certain things, like music and his few close friends, he can be very goofy and expressive in contrast to his usual bland almost dead stare. His sister, for example can bring this out almost always, he just feels like a completely different person around her. His father on the other hand brings out of the worst of him, when they speak it's with short, blunt words. A hatred has been festering in Frank for awhile over how little his father helped in his childhood. Something quite uncharacteristic as he doesn't really hold grudges. Very tenacious when he has a goal in mind he can tunnel vision in an attempt to achieve it, for better or worse. Ultimately he's a very polarizing character. It almost feels like he has two personalities, one of silence and lack of care. And another where he's warm, goofy, and kind. A silent hopeless romantic he loves the idea of dating but hardly has the confidence to actively try.

  • ((I'd rather your character start dating someone but it's fine either way! Also not sure what your looking for in length exactly so if it's too long or too short for your tastes just say.)

    Frank was walking across campus to meet with someone, one of his favorite someone's, Dawn. He had just finished up his last class of the day so he didn't have too, too much to do. As per the usual white earbuds rested in his ears, connected to his phone and the massive playlist on it. Or rather several specific playlists and a massive shuffle playlist on top. At the moment a more chill, funky playlist was on and he couldn't help but calmly bob his head to the beat at times. While walking he saw someone he had grown to hate with his time at Miami, something that couldn't be said for more than a handful of people. Since he was ways away though he simply shook his head and focused back on his destination. Soon enough Dawn was in sight and he waved to her, a small smile on his face.

  • i'll have her start dating someone then :) and any length is fine , as long as you are detailed enough .//

    dawn turned around and saw messiah first , aka moose . he doesn't like his name , but calling him messiah was a fun little tease . she just finished her last class and was waiting for her new boyfriend to show up . "hey babe ." moose said , giving dawn a kiss on the cheek before hugging . he was much taller than her , and that's just how she likes it . the cute redhead blushed and held onto his hand . "i have to tell frank soon ... he will be so crushed to find out ..." she muttered , knowing that him and frank wasn't really on good terms . moose shrugged and looked away . they have been only going out for like three days , but dawn feel really close to him already .

    something told her to turn around , so when she did she saw frank . 'oh crap !' biting her lip , dawn realized she would have to explain to her friend what was going on . letting go of moose's hand , she blushed with embarrassment and gave frank a cheeky and guilty smile . "hey ... frank ." she muttered , knowing that moose's eyes was directed towards her back . rubbing her arm awkwardly she looked down at the ground .

  • As Frank got closer it was very clear that the aforementioned character, Moose, was much closer to Dawn than he first thought. Or at least moved for that to be so. Still at enough distance to miss some of the smaller interactions he was only the smallest bit suspicious. Though as he got into speaking distance and took out one earbud his suspicions were brought to the forefront with her blushing and looking at the ground, sure he hadn't known her too long but he didn't have to know the person at all to see this and know something was going on. "Hey." The usual slight peppiness and smile that accompanied him when talking to friends was gone as a neutral face took over him. The same one that he used in any emotionally taxing situation, he was very good at holding this expression. "Whats, uh whats up?" He questioned, the closeness of her and Moose quite frankly made him a bit uncomfortable.

  • sighing lightly , dawn opened her mouth to answer him . but only closed it , trying to figure out what to say . "i just wanted to let you know that ... moose and i are ... dating ." she finally blurted out . the redness in her face almost matched her hair color . "i know you two aren't really good pals or anything , but ..." her voice got over powered by moose himself . "you don't have to ask for permission from this punk babe !" he growled . dawn opened her mouth to talk but then closed it again . 'he has a point ... frank is just a friend and will always be a friend ... right ?' dawn thought to herself . 'but moose shouldn't have said that .' . finally speaking up she balled up her fist and faced moose . "that is still my best friend . you don't talk to him like that ..." she said , her voice stern and unsteady . moose eyes widen and he looked away , knowing he was in the wrong .

  • Frank continually stared at her as his eyes seemingly glazed over. It was clear she was empathetic towards him and knew at least the basis of the situation. Truthfully though he couldn't help but feel just absolute contempt for her at that moment. Quickly though this shifted from her to him, and even more so as she actually defended him, before he could even speak himself actually. Who was he to ruin their horrible, terrible relationship though right? Putting back in his other earbud he turned around. Speaking but not physically directing it towards them. "No, no... good luck, I haven't great things about couples that fight this early, so I'm guessing you'll need it." His voice was monotonous and impersonal, he felt like he was watching his body from the outside. Really, when asking whats up he expected... something . anything else, just not... THAT.

  • "wait ... frank ." she replied sadly . getting a little angry at moose she stormed off . dawn didn't care where she ended up , just away from moose . but why was she so angry ? 'hey frank pls don't be mad at me ...' she texted him . nearly at the point of crying , dawn found herself at the school's field . moose didn't bother to follow her and frank was no where to be found . dawn sat at the bleachers at the field in silence and thought .

  • Frank now with a minor sense of desperation, needed to be alone. Unfortunately, being in the middle of campus with only highly populated building and areas around him didn't make it that easy. The least occupied point was the schools field, as practice wasn't until a fair bit later in the day. Now obviously being a college football field, it was pretty damn massive. He took a seat at the edge of the field, in the grass, near the entrance to the lockers. Putting on a loud and mindnumbing rock song he turned up the volume pretty hard and tried to let it drown out his thoughts. He couldn't help it though as he punched the ground a few times with everything he had. Really he felt dramatic, why was he acting like this, he had absolutely no right too. But he just felt so... angry. At the moment he could hardly identify why it was just there.

  • finally getting over the whole ordeal , dawn looked up and noticed that it was nearly night time . 'did i go to sleep without knowing ...' she questioned herself . rubbing her eyes she looked at her phone and realized that frank still didn't text her back . sighing , she got up and stretched . dawn noticed that she got about 20 missed calls from moose . calling him back quickly he answered in a panic state . 'calm down ... im still at the school ... but im heading back now . i know ...' she hung up and started walking towards her car . before she made it there she saw frank still at the school as well . "hey frank . do you need a ride or something ?" she asked , completely forgetting the ordeal from earlier .

  • Frank had gone through several hours of consideration, debating with himself over the situation as a whole. Ultimately he decided he would just try to avoid the conflict as a whole. It hurt him to consciously decide to distance himself from his best friend. He wasn't a very confrontational person though, he was just confused and felt nothing was the right answer. The initial text from her had gone unnoticed in his anger and as time passed he couldn't quite bring himself to respond. Or rather just didn't have anything to say. Eventually he was starting the walk back to the dorms when the very person he had no intention of talking to today, or really the next if at all possible called him out. "No, I'll just walk." He said forcing a smile through lightly gritted teeth, it wasn't too far. On any other day he would take a ride from her without hesitation but he kept on going regardless.
