The Star Rod Mishap

But Mario didn’t eat enough time to finish as Bowser was suddenly surprised by a white flash and when it cleared, the Mushroom Kingdom and everything in it had been altered. It was sort of a mix between Bowser’s Kingdom and the Mushroom kingdom

OOC: After a mjshap involving the Star rod, the Mushroom Kingdom and it’s history have been altered. Sonic and his friends must rally the original Mushroom Kingdom heroes together to fix history, though with their memories altered, that will be easier said than done

(Sonic and Crystal and them can start somewhere in this new Mushroom Kingdom. Sorry I had this idea in my head all day Xd

“Hey Sonic.. is it just me or did the Mushroom Kingdom suddenly change...?” Tails asked, confused

“Well... we should try to find Mario and Luigi...”

After what seemed like an eternity of walking, they finally come across a gym (not a Pokemon one)

“No... actually... this is where Yoshi’s Bakery was.”

“Wanna go inside?”

Upon entering the gym, they saw a bunch of Toads and Koopa working out, and in the far right corner, they could see Mario. He was wearing a red shirt and blue shorts, not his normal outfit that they knew and he also had a whistle around his neck, and was also his real height (a little above Sonic’s knee) but Mario was training some of he Toads.

“Interesting... Hey look there’s Mario!” Tails said

“I wonder what he’s doing here though.”

“Doesn’t he already have a job though?”

“Let’s go talk to him”
