  • ALL I EVER WANTED TO DO WAS FLY ;; LEAVE THIS WORLD AND LIVE IN THE SKY —

the feline was only a young thing, no more than four moons of age. having been in sunclan for as long as she’s known, she finally decided to get out and learn about the clan. learn who her clanmates were. spend more time with her parents. become a full member of sunclan. while she was still young, she was determined to do anything and everything she could to make her mark on the clan.

for now, she was hopeful that she could find one of her parents, and spend some time with them. if not, then she’d be more than happy to spend time with other members of the clan. perhaps they’d be willing to teach her a thing or two? as she paced camp, the domestic feline looked down at her paws with a sigh. it was still early in the morning, most of her clanmates would be asleep. she knew better than to wake them, so as she sat down to groom her fur, she began to plot. maybe she could prepare something special for the clan as they awoke? but what could she possibly plan?

maybe a feast? or what about preparing a song? no, neither of those would do. they weren’t original enough. they needed to be more unique, more interesting. maybe a game? or what about..... yes! she had an idea. one that would surely sweep them off their feet... er... paws, as she was sure they would stare at her in awe. so, without a second thought, she dashed outside camp in search of supplies. if anyone found her, she’d just tell them her idea and ask if they could help her out with it. maybe then she wouldn’t be in so much trouble.

  • youth was such a strange and reckless ideal- it consumed one's marrow with fire and faith and made one feel as if death's steady, crimson truth could not reach tiny paws to bring about revelation. there was something pure and unyielding it left within its wake, and the fact was that once gone such a time, such a feeling could never return to flourish within chest. in truth, avalon was one such ivory boy who found connections a hard sort of practice. for beyond sibling bickering and constant fights which left bruises to flourish across pale skin like that of lilacs, he solely held the pearl and rose pages blotched with ink of angedust's books and nepenthe cooing, sugared sweet words for kinship. a parent was a traitor, the other a leader- it made chance for friends hard as it was, let alone for a prince of moon and god's ambrosia who held fire for blood.

avalon was not sure what drove his paws forward that early morning, of why he stood within outskirts of home of warmth and wraith's great city. perhaps it was to speak with the olden spirit which dwelled within him, or to find peace- in all its irony- from his rambunctious family. or maybe he was just lost. in any case, he was there amongst the woods to see another child going about. she was about his age, running through woods with eyes searching, searching, searching- searching for what? avalon came forward, curious and frustrated by the other's actions. "What the heck are you doing?," he inquired, gruff as head cocked to the side.

  • The tabby child gasped, waking up from yet another night terror, his short coat matted in places from perspiration. Juggernautkit blinked amber luminaries, adjusting to his surroundings and checked on his pet bird, Kronos, who seemed to be sleeping soundly on his perch. Good. Silently, the male crawled out of bed, his paw pads hitting the stone floor with a soft thump. He padded outside of his room, shutting the door softly behind him and began his morning routine of walking the halls of the temple to the top and back down again to the bottom. Maintaining a brisk trot - he didn't want to run through the dimly lit halls - he was clumsy enough as is, he needn't throw extra velocity into anything he crashed into. He reached the top, and then jogged down to the bottom again, breathing in the crisp winter air as he stood outside at the ground level, taking in the dusk.

Trianguluar audibles perked up at the sound of voices. Only one of his ears was fully functional, the other having an incomplete eardrum from birth, he could make out the sound of his sister's voice and someone else. Frowning, the trailblazer padded to investigate, finding Avalon inquiring something to Noe that Jug had only heard the tail end of. Curious now, he padded towards the group, cocking his head at Avalon, not particularly fond of his gruff tone. "What's going on here, Noe? This guy bothering you?"

shaking her head at her brother’s question, she would simply tilt her head to the side as she thought for a moment. “i’m trying to prepare something for when everyone wakes up. i wanna surprise them.” the vague answer of the kit would be as her different colored optics continued their search. soon after, “y’all can help if you wanna. i’m looking for anything that would be seen as unique, like a treasure.” she tried to explain her idea as she looked at the toms. “kinda like a new years present.

  • The tabby shrugged and muttered a swift " sure. " looking up to Avalon, amber luminaries lingering momentarily as he started looking among the trees for discarded things to give to the Clan - truthfully having no idea what he was looking for, Simply rustling through the snow and hoping that someone had decided to throw out a diamond necklace and it hadn't been covered the snow?

to be fair, she could have been more specific. however, noe wasn't exactly sure what her plan was in the first place. she didn't even know what to be looking for, but soon enough, she would make an attempt to try anyways, after watching the form of her brother move about the snow for a short period of time. after awhile she didn't seem to have much luck. where else could they look? to be honest she wasn't quite sure. but out of the corner of her eyes, a white blob caught her eye. moving towards it she came to find a feather. it wasn't like the typical grey and white or plain black feathers she had commonly seen before. no, this one seemed to have strange markings and patterns, and had a beautiful color she hadn't seen much of before.
