• LIVE AND LET DIE —

the male sat in camp, watching the others walking about, each in their own little world. he had no will to speak to anyone currently, as he was somewhat an unknown presence in the group. he did however, wish to get to know his father Fourthwall Fallout better. he hadn’t had much interaction with him before, so getting to know him should probe to be beneficial. it’s pathetic how they expect us to follow orders from...” he grumbled almost inaudibly to himself, his words traling off as he continued to think the rest of his sentence silently. soon enough, he let out a yawn as he pup would soon settle down, to attempt to gain some much needed sleep. however, he heard paw steps approaching him and a shadow fall over him. with a sound of annoyance, he forced himself to his paws as he opened his eyes to greet the one who walked towards him.

THEY CALL KIDS LIKE US VICIOUS AND CARVED OUT OF STONE

The Fallout children weren't always around. Sure, there were a select few that had taken to the life of a Rogue like a fish takes to water, but the majority of them tended to fade in and out, lingering in the background or straying away. Had I been more parental in my instincts I might have tried to keep them together more, but that just wasn't me. It wasn't like I hated them or didn't want them around- hell, quite the contrary. Having them around was good not just for the clan but for me too. I was a social monster, after all, and you couldn't be social without having others around. To be honest though, Imrek wasn't someone I'd expected to see when I was on my way out for patrol that morning. He'd been laying pretty low lately so to suddenly see him sitting out in the open was enough to draw my interest. "Hey, Mumbler." I called as I made my way over, a hint of amusement in the tone. I was well aware that most of my kids either hated me or were indifferent toward me due to my lack of paternal instincts, but as blunt and horrible as it sounded, that was their problem. If they wanted to act like I was the big bad wolf or like I didn't give a crap then that was their damage. It wasn't like I told them to fuck off or not hang around me. In fact, I was more than happy to socialize. "Nice to see you out and about for once. I thought you might be turning into a hermit."

PLEASE NOTE;; Fourthwall is known to break the 4th wall, as his name suggests. He is a person who -instead of gods or reincarnation- thinks that he is just a character made up in a story, and so nothing he says or does has any real consequence. This allows him to suppress emotions like guilt or hesitation in order to enrich his life, as he believes that nobody is actually real, and so none of the bad things he does to others in order to enjoy himself are real either. He will often refer to his 'Writer' during 1st person posts and complain about the way they write him or his story, and is convinced that the entire world and FF's reality is just some big story.

  • LIVE AND LET DIE —

he would flatten his ears for only a moment at the tone of his father’s words. however, he would at least make an attempt to not flat out hate his father. well, things change. and so do people.” his gruff response would be, as he looked up at his father. while he was still young, he was eager to get out in the world, to learn and discover. but he had a feeling his father wouldn’t like that very much. curiousity pulled at him however. who truely was his father? and would he agree to teach him to be like him? would he show him the “proper” ways to act and behave? on account of his parental skills, imrek wasn’t so sure. but would he at least try? “can’t say that i’ve seen you around as of late either.” he would attempt to joke. he tilted his head to the side for a moment as he watched his father, trying to deterimine if he should ask about the whole “i wanna be like you” thing.

  • At the sound of her brother's voice, Astral's ears immediately perked up. First Aquarius, now Imrek, it was almost as if Santa really did exist. Of course, she couldn't forget how some of the other family members had started to quieten down and disappear somewhat, but she would feed off the rest to keep herself energised. "Imrek, it's good to see you back!" she would run over with a relieved grin, plunging forward behind Fourth to skid to a stop in front of the other hellhound. After a millisecond of thought she advanced further with the aim to rest her head on her sibling's in a hug, before retreating to stretch herself out on the ground beside them.

"mm, as long as they change for the better I guess," she would hum in reply to his comment, her gaze travelling to her father out of curiosity for his answer.

  • LIVE AND LET DIE —

// would you like a thread between the two?

great to see you again sis.” he would greet the female warmly, and with his wolfish grin as he accepted the hug, resting his head atop hers in return. nodding at her comment, he couldn’t exactly say that she was wrong. but then again there were often times that things would change for the worse. on occasion however, simple, little things would mark a turning point for the better. in turn, he would join his sister in awaiting their father’s answer.

Imrek was yet another one of his many cousins, but one of the few that actually hung around. Astral was the only one he'd known to stay for a long time, while others tended to disappear. Some, like Aquarius and Imrek, were new and still had the potential to hang around. Hopefully they would. Being the son of Fourth's brother, though, and not actually Fourth, made him feel a little distant from the rest. But while he would never say it out loud, Crown loved his family and hated that they were so distant from each other. Maybe they could change now.

"Hey Imrek," The hybrid stated, trotting over. He smiled a little as Astral went in for a hug; she liked to do that now, it seemed. Crown didn't join in, however, and sat off to the side to watch. He hid a smirk at Imrek's comeback towards Fourth and awaited what the leader would say in response.

hmph. final was not too keen on this one. he kept his distance as he groomed the area of his missing paw, quickly replacing it with a surprisingly sturdy prosthetic paw. he tsitvhdd his ear, snorting slightly. his only sibling he would tolerate was andromedia. and she was gone most of the time.

  • LIVE AND LET DIE —

// how old are these kiddos supposed to even be now?

the male would let out a sigh as finalpassion stayed away from him. imrek was never positive what he had even done to cause the male to hate him so. at least one of his siblings had liked him right? while he had never had any interactions with his other siblings for quite sometime, he figured that some day he'd have to track them down. meet them and see how they were doing. after all, it was only something to keep him occupied, and he'd like to stay in touch with his siblings. upon hearing the voice of his cousin, he'd turn offering him a grin. he didn't know the hybrid well but made it a point to spend more time with him in the future. “hey bud, what's shakin?” he would muse in a brotherly sort of tone as he made an attempt to include the male. glancing once more at final, he figured he'd at least make an attempt to include him. "hey finalpassion, uh you know you're welcome to come over here with us right bud?" he would ask the male, a twinge of hope in his voice.

  • She liked this one -- as evident by the wide grin that broke out across her face as she wandered over. For such a rough and tumble Clan, most of her siblings seemed so uptight. Or, at least good and wholesome. Perhaps they listened too much to the parts of them that required submission to Fourthwall. Then again, scorpio and aquarius were infamously independent signs; perhaps she and her brother were just the odd ones out.

"Yo, Imrek. You got any interesting New Year's resolutions I can jump in on?" she barked as she made her way over, just one of many hellhounds in this see of Fourthwall's brood. Casting an annoyed eye at her father, she realized the Clan was almost entirely made out of his spawn, most of which were bound to obey his orders.

the hybrid shook his head. he was very much okay with being by himself. he did not have a reason to socialize, but he wanted to make his presence known.

  • LIVE AND LET DIE —

[ in that case i'll age him to 12 months also

his tail drooped slightly at the fact that his brother didn't want to join them. well, not everyone was an extrovert he supposed. “well if you change your mind just come over okay?” he would tell the male as he turned his attention back to his sister. she seemed like fun in all honesty. seeing her grin he would shoot her a smirk as he responded to her question. "oh yeah i have one. stand up to dad." he would tell her, whispering the actual resolution in her ear as she neared him. say that in front of his dad? no way! he couldn't possibly know what was told. that wouldn't work out well if he actually wanted to get away with it. "what about you? anything you plan to do that i can jump in on?" he pressed, his tone still light and teasing.

  • Her ears twitched as she heard his resolution, a grin on her expression as she looked back at him. Ah, as if there existed any doubt she would join him in this; the blackheart rogues seemed to grow boring to her with each passing day; she wanted to get out and stretch her wings. But, of course, her father's hold meant those dreams remained bottled up inside her.

Leaning forward, she whispered to his ear, "I'm working on loopholes." Loopholes to what? Obviously their allegiance to him; Aquarius wanted to figure out just exactly how far the limits of the alpha shit went. Then it was a matter of marching up to that line and pissing on it.

    >> i can see these kids are gonna be the thick as thieves twins lmao

  • LIVE AND LET DIE —

    // yes. they are

so an alliance of resoultions then. sounds perfect. i wonder if any of our littermates would be in on this?” he would respond to her in a soft tone, attempting to keep his voice down. he knew that others would be wary of their father and wouldn’t dare going against him. imrek on the other hand didn’t care. if he wanted to go against his father then he would. he didn’t hate his father or anything, he just would rather not have so many rules and restrictions placed upon him. leaning back to her ear, he would nod as he thought of a response to her comment. “let me know if you need any help with that. if you need it, i’ll be your theory tester.

the hybrid shook his head snorting at the arrogance of his siblings. they had probably not known that he had tried to go against his father, and had failed. "that us a stupid idea. just get over it. he is alpha, and there is nothing you can do about it, until he dies." he was speaking from experience, and he just did not need his stupid siblings getting hurt by their father.

  • hjjjjjjjjjjjjkkSince she'd already been standing beside Imrek when the conversation started, she shuffled in to listen in on the plot, effectively forming a suspicious grouping of the trio. "Yay, I'd be up for that," she added quietly, her tail wiggling as she felt excitement rise up in her throat. Though she didn't have anything against Fourth - in fact, you could say they got along fairly well - freedom was still a value she held close to heart. Less restrictions would certainly be something she was interested in, and in the femme's mind it would even be fun to compete with the alpha. There was something thrilling about the idea that pushed her forward, alongside the feral beast within that yearned for freedom. As long as no one actually died, of course.

At Final's comment she would look up, grinning as she moved her paw in a lax wave. "It's fine, it's fine~ that's too pessimistic, you don't know until you try," it's not as if it wasn't possible, at least until she confirmed it to be impossible. She could still feel the locked up abilities of Jupit- no, Nivata, rolling around in there somewhere, though she hadn't taken the chance to try to access those after the being's death.

    - edit because my cat walked on my keyboard. I won't edit it out though.

would everyone be up for rounding them to the same date of birth?

  • 「 i am a question to the world

not an answer to be heard 」

Crown huffed a small laugh at his cousin's words. What's shakin'? What did that even mean? He supposed it had to mean something like what was up, but Imrek certainly had an interesting way of asking it. "Not much," He replied, seeing Imrek had already moved on to other conversations. No use expanding now, it would be better to just leave it at that.

However, at the mention of standing up to Fourth, Crown frowned. Why? The leader and their father- Crown's uncle- had done nothing worth standing up to. Imrek and Aquarius seemed full-on prepared for it, as well as Astral. Although the hybrid didn't agree with Final's thinking either, Crown was more on his side. "Why stand up to him? What has he done?" He asked, tone concerned. Was there something he didn't know about? His old friend Kayn had secretly talked of rebellion before his disappearance. Were his cousins planning something along the same line?

"Yeah, I've been slackin'." I replied with a small smile, openly admitting it. I was a pretty shameless guy and I didn't try to hide that part of myself. Self-filtering wasn't something I practiced. I was fine with who I was, and a lot of other people were too. Some hated me for it, and others needed time to understand. The lifestyle I chose to live wasn't one that could be easily taught or passed along to others, simply because it took a certain type of person to take to it. Kayn had taken to it easily enough, but only time would tell if it would break him or not. "You should come train with me some time. We can get our asses in gear together." I offered. I was far from out of shape but that was because I spent a lot of my free time being active, even when I was off on my own.
