You start?
-
sure :)

Alice had been chosen for a trip to the Lost Islands of Arkan. It was a very secluded area with tribes that wouldn't let anyone in. Until now. They had agreed to let the research team survey their islands for a few days. Alice was extremely ecstatic to be apart of such an amazing adventure. After they had landed on the islands, she went to start working at digging up the prehistoric artifacts. They weren't allowed in the actual tribal area. All she knew about the architecture of the tribes were that they favored large buildings, and that there was a castle at the middle of each island.
-
From the trees were three darker skinned people, hidden from sight. They weren't black foresay, but Native American. Indians. The three were all males and wore nothing but a skirt like loincloth made of cattle hide. One of the three had a white loincloth with light brown spots. He also had the longest hair of the three and feathers in his head. Not to mention the gold like jewelry he wore. Each had a bow and each had about 4 arrows. The other two had them slightly raised and pointed at the researchers. The stand out of them held his hand out, telling them to wait. "La'kov kli anku saku maku." He said softly. He told them not to shoot.
-
Alice continued working, digging up what she assumed to be a small vase. She felt a gaze on her back, and she got goosebumps from alarm. She looked behind her, and only saw trees. She didn't see any people. She frowned in worry, trying to clear her head and go back to digging up the vase. It was beautiful, with lots of colors and exotic designs.
-
The standout tilted his head, but looked to the male with the shortest hair. "Akaku." He said.
The male apparently named Akaku looked to him. "Ka Kovakiku?" He asked.
Kovakiku, or the standout, looked to the girl with the vase. He then grabbed a white flower from the tree and tied it to one of Akaku's arrows. "Sov." He said. Which must've meant shoot because the next thing that happened, was an arrow shot out and landed right next to the girl. Kovakiku watched her and waited to see what she would do.
-
Alice squeaked in surprise, and looked over at the arrow. She saw a white flower attached to it; was that a sign of peace? She grabbed the flower and turned around, still unable to spot the tribe members. She turned to the trees and shouted, "Ikamu purduin." I come in peace.
-
Kovakiku smiled and looked to the male with the black loincloth. "Maka, gush klavin kurin." He told him to head to the camp. Maka nodded and knew what news to spread.he then looked to Akaku and nodded. Handing him another flower, this time a yellow one. Akaku shot it at her feet and missed her feet by a mere 3 inches.
-
She frowned, unsure what to do. "Kakoku comu eout?" Can you show yourself? She asked, picking up the other flower. She searched the trees with her eyes, confusion in her face.
-
Akaku turned to the apparent leader of their patrol and smiled. Kovakiku nodded and Akaku kept down from the tree, crouching and looking to her. Unknowing to the girl, she just accepted Kovakiku's marriage proposal. Akaku stared at the girl, curious as why her
-
"Wanu...Rosindas meta?" What roses mean? She asked, struggling to find the right words. She had studied the language for a few years, but there were a few parts she was missing. Her eyes looked confused and excited at the same time. No one else was around her except for the natives; it was very rare for them to interact with people outside of the tribe.
-
"Kalanu." He said smiling. Marriage. Akaku said. In their tradition, the male native would pick a woman and have his right-hand man shoot, or leave flowers for the girl. If she picks up both flowers, then she accepts the marriage. The groom would never show his face until the night of the wedding. His right-hand man would stay beside the girl until that day, to protect her and make sure hi other male goes after her. But then again, how would this girl know this?
-
Her jaw dropped. "H-How...Why me?" She said, her face going aghast. She should've researched more into this; she should've not have picked up the roses. She felt confined, as if this would end her life. "Is there any way to reverse it?" She asked herself, assuming that the male didn't speak english. She had a horrible feeling in her gut, because she knew how sacred promises were in this land. If she went back on accepting something, she would most likely be killed.
-
Akaku looked to her and pointed towards the direction that they have seen her come from. "Masu kanana vokir ro?" Do you need to say goodbye? He asked her, pointing with his bow.
-
She nodded. She went over to the other adventurers and lied. She told them that she alone was invited to stay with the tribe for a little while, and that she'd contact them when she was able to make the journey back. She hugged all of them, holding back tears, then returned to Akaku. "Ine redimen." I'm ready.
-
Akaku touched his bare chest and boomed out with his voice, yelling. "AKAKU!" It could have been seen as aggressive, but this was a formal way of greeting yourself by name. He looked at her, curious of her name.
-
Alice looked confused, then it dawned on her that it was his way of saying his name. She pointed at herself, then said, "Alice."
//hey you mind if i find pics of your charries ?? i like having pics to look at-- do u prefer real photos or drawings?//
-
He smiled and chuckled a bit at how quiet it was. Not a warrior huh? He thought and began to laugh, shaking his head and picking up the arrows. "Comku." He said as he began to walk to where he shot the arrows from. Kovakiku was long gone by now.
Either is fine!
-
She frowned and followed Avaku. "...Woma muku kalana?" Who am I marrying? She asked, her hands shaking by her side from anxiety. What if he was a horrible person? Oh god, what if she had just made the worst decision of her life? She forced herself to take deep breaths.
-
xD yes but imagine Akaku with slightly shorter hair.
Akaku kept looking forward. "Lokos meseeka firmandu ku wacer sanka vandir Kovakiku klakiko." The chieftain's son Kovakiku. He leads the Western territories.
