Heiji is a pale leopard, with almost reddish spots, and standing at an average weight. His face, however, is slightly thinner, even if he has longer fur than most leopards. He has piercing blue-green eyes, coupled by a hat that is usually worn backwards. It is white with a blue rim, with “SAX” written in black and surrounded by gold. He also carries a “lucky chain” in a golden and blue bag.

Hotheaded and quick tempered, Heiji is not patient. He is also stubborn and blunt, sometimes not using logic if his emotions take over. He’s quite protective with those he cares about, however. But, he is still very logical, with an eidetic memory, and a knack for solving murder cases.
