  • Drekarys here's the thread, finally lol.

I'm thinking we can lead up to when they meet, just a few posts beforehand and whatnot, I'll be happy to play the other characters involved an such. And of course if there's a character you would like to put in yourself or take over any others then by all means!

  • Ok! x) No rush, you can think about it haha. My idea in the story though is he's gonna be the leader of a little group in the school(people that work for the same people and such, he's appointed leader and all that) but again that's just in the story, make him however you want him to be and we'll get this going!

    So excited! Haha

P.S., been reading this series called The White Rabbit Chronicles, and OMG... I'd read the first book, Alice in Zombieland back when I was in HS, but didn't know it was a series. So, I got the first book and reread it on my Nook(thank that Gods for EBooks because I so would not be able to find hardcopies anywhere but online and boy are they pricey) anyways, I just got the second book last night on my Nook as well and I am SO hooked! And boy is the drama gettin' good up in here! UGH I can't take it! Hahahahaha sorry, just had to share

  • Right haha let me find a picture! I can start, we can begin right before they actually meet, to kind get a feel for their characters first.

This was the closest I could find to my mental image of her x)

  • ((Yes!!!! ^.^ Haha, ok I'll start now hehehe))

Chara was never one to take orders from anybody, she did what she wanted, when she wanted. But when she did do something or someone else, at least she got paid for it.

This, however, was a different story. Her parents had left her with this legacy, something she needed to uphold, if only for them. They had worked with these people when they were alive, believed they were doing it for the better good, keeping humans away from those who were Supernatural; protecting them from the truth of their existence, and even some things beyond that.

Her parents had died when she was young, and when that had happened, she fell off the grid. Only to be captured so many years later and enlisted to help in this specific mission. She understood why they needed her. She just didn't like it.

But, she reasoned, it was for a good cause. The humans had a zombie in their laboratory, and that didn't bode well for anyone. They needed it contained. But no one had access to the secret lab.

Chara needed to get down and dirty to do some digging, needed to get close to a certain someone...

She glanced down at the file in her hands again, skimming over the information given to her.

Quinn Parker, son of Richard Parker, head of the Corporation that apprehended the zombie Chara needed to get back.

He was a senior in highschool, 18 years of age, and, lucky for Chara, a huge animal lover.

She knew how she was going to play him, how she was going to get close to him. She would use her Familiars and abilities to her advantage. First thing was first, however, she needed to go back to highschool.

She groaned at the thought. She knew it was necessary, but she'd dropped out in middle school and hadn't even thought about returning. It just wasn't her thing. But this was important, and she needed every advantage she could get.

Again, lucky for her that her newly attained Familiars had already been going to this school, had already been tailing Quinn Parker, getting close to him, even before she'd been brought in for the case.

Yet another advantage. The hard part wasn't going to be getting close to the son, but rather getting close to the father. She needed access to that lab, and that was what she was truly after.

She took a deep breath as she dismounted her bike,

Her Familiars, Shade and Azalea, had promised to meet her here, at school. It was her first day, so they would bring 'the new girl' into their group. They hadn't gotten so close to Quinn as to be best friends, they'd said, but they were friends with the right people who got Quinn's attention, and they had assured her they would make sure everything worked out. Azalea had even went so far as to make sure Chara looked stunning this morning for her first encounter with the boy. She would make a great first impression, make sure he remembered her.

Again, Chara groaned. This so wasn't like her, she was more of a fighter, preferring fists and weapons over wits and wiles. But, like her new 'bosses' had said, this was a delicate situation, and she couldn't simply fight her way through it as she had in the past. She would need wits and wiles this time.

She remained where she was a moment longer, leaning against her bike, backpack now thrown over one shoulder as she debated on whether she really needed to go in there or not. But the answer was simple; yes, she really did need to go in there.

Before shoving the file back into her backpack, Chara took one more glance at the photo of Quinn Parker, to make sure she remembered his face.

  • Ok xD lol I know, I'm sorry. I tried laying most of it out for the first post so there wouldn't be as much confusion as the RP progresses.

  • //Lol no sweat! I got this!

Darrel was a machine when it came to tasks. His processes were methodical, planned out, predictive. He knew when a factor would turn in his favor, anticipated or otherwise. It was what he was good at. It was his skill, unmatched by no other, and not once had he failed at any task provided him.

Perhaps that was why he had been given this assignment without question: they knew his strengths, knew his record, and obviously had no doubts. Something to be proud of, definitely.

For the past few weeks now, he'd been keeping tabs on this Quin Parker, son of the acclaimed Richard Parker, who was of prime subject among his superiors: his corporation had gotten their hands upon a zombie - something that should not be allowed to happen, and yet it had. And it was Darrel's job to clean up the mess.

If - no, when all went according to plan, and he played his cards right, it would be easy. He'd have the keys to the lab with no issues, and nullify the issue accordingly. A simple headshot, burn the body, no samples to work with. Nothing. But Quin was the necessary first step.

The first bell rung in his ears as he pulled in on his motorbike, parking it near a tree just across the curb and a grim smile grazed his lips. The excitement of the hunt to come filled his soul.

    School was in session.

  • ((YAY!!!! ^.^))

The sound of another motorcycle had caught Chara's attention, but she didn't dare try to find the source. She needed to remain focused on the task at hand. As the other motorcycle was shut off, the sound of the first bell rung throughout the parking lot and school.

Cursing under her breath, Chara hitched her bag higher on her shoulder as she quickly made her way to the doors to the school and inside without so much as a look back at her bike.

Students littered the halls as they all bustled about, making their way to their assigned classes. Some seemed to be in a hurry, whereas some milled about in front of their lockers, chatting away happily with one another.

Chara witnessed a boy trying to make a move on a girl, only to end up getting slapped in the face. Chara had watched with amusement as the girl huffed, slammed her locker shut, and walked off.

She'd only ever read about such incidences in books or seen them on TV, to see them in person was much more amusing. But less dramatic.

Focus. She reminded herself. She needed to find Shade and Azalea, or the very least, the main office to obtain her schedule. She didn't exactly come in at the beginning of the school year, more like in the middle of the middle and end. Perfect timing, right? She internally groaned.

Azalea, Shade, where are you? She thought. She wasn't used to being around so many people, so many humans. She usually avoided other human like creatures like the plague, preferring animals and other beasts.

We're here. Came the sweet voice of Azalea. One good thing about the bond between a Familiar and their Master, they could link to each other whenever they wished. Hear each other's thoughts, feel each other's emotions, the Master could even see through their Familiar's eyes if they wanted. Chara had to admit, it would come in handy.

Where are you? Came a male voice, soft as silk but firm. Shade. His tone was laced with a hint of worry, worry he obviously was trying to hide, but couldn't from Chara.

Rather than telling them where she was, Chara sent a mental image of her surroundings as she glanced about, hoping they would be able to find her that way.

She was a bit lost, although she had taken a look at the blue-prints of the school, with so many teenagers swarming around her, it was hard to tell exactly in which hallway she was in. She'd just come from the parking lot, she knew that. So she was in a hallway on the side of the main building.

In her mind, she could feel Shade and Azalea's presence, they were coming, getting closer.

  • School traffic on any day was always terrible. On the first day, however, it was the absolute worst. Freshmen pouring in from all directions rushing to figure out their next class, only to rush back the way the fame in front of your path when they realize they made a wrong turn. Sophomores and juniors being just as in a hurry, though a little more rude about it. And then there were the seniors, who assumed because of their status at the top of the grade heap thought they pretty much owned the place, and if there wasn't a path readily available, they simply made one, by any means necessary.

Darrel enjoyed that privilege, but he was more subtle about it, simply because people could not help but make room for him. It all had to do with his hidden nature. They didn't know what it was exactly, but they could feel it radiating from him like heat from a fire. It was intimidating, something they instinctively didn't want anything to do with, and that was fine with Darrel.

He thus found his locker with no trouble at all, no annoying head on collisions or accidents of that sort. He anticipated it would be an easy day. Everything would go on schedule when it should, as it should, as he predicted.

//Ok, I'm actually going to drop Darrel's age down by one unit so he's 18 like Chara XP

  • ((Ok! Works for me haha x) btw it's not first day of school-it is for Chara-but it's actually in between the middle and end of the school year))

Chara let out a small, relieved sigh as both her Familiars came within sight. Without actually approaching her, Azalea and Shade kept her in their sights as they silently guided her to the front of the building, and to the main office.

She nodded her thanks to the two as she entered, going straight to the front desk to ask for her schedule.

Thankfully, she didn't have to wait long. The receptionist whipped it out in a matter of seconds. Presumably from the fact that they probably didn't get many new students during this time of the year.

Thanking the woman, Chara took her schedule before heading back out into the hall, still bustling with life.

Sticking to the wall, the brunette skimmed her schedule quickly, wondering how many classes she shared with her Familiars and Quinn.

Laughter coming from the other side of the hall had Chara glancing up and away from the piece of paper, to see Azalea amid a group of teenage girls. All were pretty, gorgeous, even. They obviously dressed to impress. The popular girls, perhaps?

Only a few feet away, a group of boys lounged about, leaning against lockers and the wall, chatting. She noticed Shade among that group. She also noticed a pretty blond haired girl saunter over to Shade, placing her hand on his shoulder to get his attention as she smiled seductively at him.

Chara couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow at the scene. She hadn't know her Familiars for very long, but she didn't know Shade was popular with the ladies. Which, she reminded herself, was a foolish thought. Of course he would be popular among teenage girls, just as Azalea would be popular among the boys.

For the first time in a long time, Chara found herself feeling a bit self-conscious as she glanced down at herself. She knew Azalea had said she had made her look stunning, but seeing the other girls around her, she now doubted that.

Chara had compromised with Azalea and bore black and red, as she preferred. Black skinny jeans with slits with only inches apart from each other running from the middle of leg to the middle of her thigh, though because they were bought that way, you couldn't actually see any skin, but rather a red material underneath the slits.

For a top-because of school rules-she wore a tight fitting red tank-top with cropped black jacket to go over it, mainly covering her shoulders.

She glanced around, unsure of what she should do in that moment, she had to wait for Azalea and Shade's signal, they had said that they would approach her when it was right, when their groups were interested in her.

And so, she remained by the wall, waiting for the opportunity.
