  • AND NOW I’M ALL ALONE IN THE DARK OF NIGHT — lanza godspeed — none — tags

    F. GUDINNAN ;; just gonna pretend she was already accepted into the clan

lanza had been lazing about in the lighthouse all morning. she knew she should go out and do something productive, but she knew she didn’t have the need to. she didn’t have any clients yet, and she knew that she had to go out and find some. however, she would have to go some other time. i really should do something productive this morning. perhaps i’ll go for a walk, get to know the territory? forcing herself to her paws, the female let out a huff as she caught a glimpse of a clanmate she had heard the name of a couple of times before. “hey! frostbite is it? would you wanna come on a walk with me around the territory?” she asked, a slight twinge of hope in her voice.

The fox also enjoyed the lighthouse. Fortunately, it blocked the sun's rays from her pelt, providing at least some replication of her old home in the metal tower. She'd decided to go get some fresh air, however, because with everyone up there it seemed so stuffy. Especially with her chatty son, although she loved him to bits.

As the canine looked around, taking in the palm trees, she heard her name being addressed. "Hm?" she murmured, turning around. "Oh, Lanza." she said, the name rolling off her Swedish tongue nicely. "I'd love to." she said, nodding. It was nice to see someone so friendly. The angel's peaceful demeanor was nice for a change, compared to Archi. Also, the wolf just had a mystical air about her that Frost wondered about. The canine herself was an angel too, although she was rather new and still wondered what her purpose was. She still hadn't been disclosed as to what kind of angel she was. Just that she'd betrayed God and the angel species, so in return, she's now their minion. In a way.

a smile crossed her maw as the fox accepted her request. “wonderful. any specific place you’d like to go?” she was hopeful that the fox would have an idea in mind, as she was still newer around the area. if needed she would come up with something. however she did feel that simply walking somewhere would be nice as well. it would give her a chance to get to know frostbite as well.

  • TELL ME WHO YOU'RE LOYAL TO

The fox realized Lanza didn't know the territory. "Um." she started. "Well, I can show you the tide pool." she offered. The fox wasn't one for swimming, so the shallow water always provided a second option. More like wading. "It's a cute little thing." she mused, thinking of the small snails and crabs she'd seen.

  • AND NOW I’M ALL ALONE IN THE DARK OF NIGHT —

with a nod, lanza offered the fox a warm smile. tidepools? i don’t think i’ve ever seen one before. it could be interesting, although i’m not sure it would be considered “cute”. she thought as she glanced at the fox.

that’d be nice. i’m mot too sure that i’ve ever seen a tidepool before.” she mused somewhat softly, unsure of if she should be embarassed by this fact.

  • TELL ME WHO YOU'RE LOYAL TO

Noticing the other's unsureness, the fox would reply "Oh, before living here, I hadn't either. But they're cool!" she said, as they walked closer to the beach. Upon arriving, the commander would dip her toes in the small pool, just a carved out spot on the sand with some rocks and creatures. "The shells some snails leave behind are really pretty." she mused as she hooked one on a claw.

  • AND NOW I’M ALL ALONE IN THE DARK OF NIGHT —

as she looked around, lanza would take careful notice of the shells, all seemingly beautiful. even the broken ones.

these would make a beautiful piece of jewelry or art... do you know who could make anything out of them? i’d attempt to do so myself however i’m not skilled in art related things.” she said as she picked up a shell in her claws.

    / that’s it. lanza’s getting a shell crown

  • TELL ME WHO YOU'RE LOYAL TO

    /um totally? that'd be great

Frostbite chuckled. "Oh, I'm no artist either." she said. "Maybe a necklace?" she offered.

The fox looked at the shell in her paw. It was a light blue, which happened to be the commander's favorite color. But she had no purpose for the shell. "Here." she said, offering the angel her find.

  • AND NOW I’M ALL ALONE IN THE DARK OF NIGHT —

// uhm i found three oops

it’s lovely, thank you.” she thanked the fox as she accepted the gift. the light blue tones the shell gave off made her feel calm and at ease. now she would have to find a gift to give the fox in return at some point. maybe later that day she would come across something that represented her.

  • TELL ME WHO YOU'RE LOYAL TO

The canine smiled. Lanza was just a genuinely nice person to be around. Looking around, she'd try to think of other nice places to go. "Anything else you want to see?" she asked politely, turning to her companion.

  • AND NOW I’M ALL ALONE IN THE DARK OF NIGHT —

the female would nod gently, curious as to what else the territory would hold. well are there any other places you find interesting? i’m willing to explore anything honestly.” the wolf would muse as she kicked a pebble further down the beach, staring at her paws.

  • TELL ME WHO YOU'RE LOYAL TO

Frost tried to think about what she may want to show Lanza. "Well, have you found a village cabin yet?" she asked. Then, hesitating, Frostbite decided to explain what they were, just in case. "They're just little houses you can claim, in the woods. Just a place to sleep or keep your things. Although some of us choose to instead sleep in the lighthouse with everyone else. It's safer." she said, her paws turning to lead towards the small village.

  • AND NOW I’M ALL ALONE IN THE DARK OF NIGHT —

shaking her head, she would glance in that general direction. while she wasn’t a fan of being in large groups she would prefer safety over anything else. but she figured that she should try it, it seemed nice. and hey, it would be a good thing to have time alone every now and again. “not yet no. and that sounds nice, peaceful even.

// sorry for the late reply some stuff came up

  • IT'S TOO COLD OUTSIDE

"Well, it's a good idea." she suggested. "We can go get you one if you'd like!" she said, turning to Lanza. It'd help her feel more at home, possibly. Frost enjoyed hers for peace and quiet, and as an escape while she was recovering.

    / no big deal! i understand :)

  • // sorry for the late reply oops

with a nod, lanza would wag her tail slightly. “that sounds like a great idea. i’d love to!” she responded with a smile with a glance at th fox. she admired how frostbite was doing her best to make her feel welcomed in the clan, and to give her a friend. it if it weren’t for her, lanza would most likely still be a social outcast.
