+what exactly is this?
- I'm sure a lot of you are wondering that, especially if you aren't in a Capella or haven't seen Pitch Perfect. ICCA stands for International Competition of Collegiate a Capella, or a College level a Capella competition. This roleplay will be exploring the groups (not all of them but a few with enough people) a lot like the show Sing It On.
+so, uh, what do we do?
- Easy! Once accepted, many of you will be playing newcomers, and I'll play a few too so we can have some get rejected in the audition process. From there, the groups will begin working, bonding, and the drama will begin as well. Depending on the amount of groups, there may be separate threads for each and then we come together for Quarter Finals, Semifinals, and Finals.

- No, I don't want any real or pitch perfect people. This is our ICCA
- no mary sues, everyone has flaws, and this is a bunch of College groups.
- again, no famous people please
- all FF rules apply all that good stuff, cursing is okay, again this is college. Anything 18 and up must be taken to pm, if both parties are okay with that.
- Drama will happen, but keep it IC and try to keep everyone okay with what is going on.
- There will also be relationships, but don't make anyone feel like they have to be with your character.
-Talk with me about groups you want to create, and yes you can use names real life groups have, since they won't exist in our world.
- Be realistic, not everyone can be great at everything in choirs, not everyone has a great vocal range, can beatbox, and be great at choreography. But that allows your character to grow and you don't have to be completely serious, we can have fun!
- I get that there are a lot less guys in choir, but like keep it semi close at least

Standing at 5'3", Melody is usually shorter than most of her friends, even those that are female. She is very slim and slender, even 'willowy' sometimes. She has medium length hair, currently platinum blonde although she has been known to die it. Since forming the group, she has kept her hair fairly natural colours to keep from seeming unprofessional to the judges. She has a single tattoo on her wrist.

a short history:
Nothing spectacular really happened to Mel as a child. When she was four her parents divorced and she spent half her time at her mom's and half with her dad. Her dad got a new girlfriend with two kids who hated Mel and she hated them back. Her dad stopped treating her like his daughter when he got a new one with his second wife, but Mel didn't see that until later. Eighth grade she joined a new choir, which wasn't anything special beyond the teacher. High school they had a horrible teacher, and in her Sophomore year she begged her old director to come and teach them. That summer after she planned to quit choir, he emailed her about starting a new class, an a Capella class. She joined and loved it, and it inspired her to form the Beauties and the Beats, a name her old group had tossed out. Since she joined college, she poured almost all of her energy into the group, and she was excited to gainmore members this year.
