  • being accepted into one of the most prestigious schools in new york city is one thing in itself. finding out they made a mistake when you meet your roommate is another. my girl was so excited to start college. that was until she met your guy, who is the complete opposite of her. my girl always tries to follow the rules and never goes out of line. your guy is more of a player and someone who breaks the rules. despite his reputation, he still gets really good grades. the school doesn’t have any extra rooms where they can split the two up so they are forced to be roommates. will they be able to survive the entire year?

hi! as said in the plot description above, my girl will be more on the goodie two shoes side while your guy is more of a player. you can describe as you go. i do not force you to post a picture or anything that you don’t feel like doing. you can though if you want to! all i ask of you is that you are semi-literate(not three worded sentences) and active. thank you! :)

    Rose Walters

  • There wasn’t really an emotion to describe it. Well, how would you feel if you got accepted into the college you have dreamed about getting into for years? Let’s just say, Rose Walters cried when she got the letter in the mail. Of course that was followed by incoherent, happy screaming. Hell, she fell down the stairs as she ran to tell her parents her accomplishment. She had worked so hard to get good grades and to build up her college resume to where she would get accepted. She did always doubt herself though. She never thought that she would do enough. Now none of that matter. She would be heading to New York City and starting her life at college. She couldn’t wait.

That was over a month ago. She had gotten everything prepared and packed. The drive wasn’t too bad, since she was from New Jersey. Despite her parents begging, she decided to make the short trip alone. She wanted to start out fresh. She didn’t want to be considered a nerd anymore. She planned to move up in the world! Well... hopefully. She hoped to be roomed with someone that was nice and encouraging. She wanted to become close with the girl. Maybe they could be study buddies... now she was just getting ahead of herself. She had no clue the error that the college made and how much she would hate it. For now, she was focused on not getting lost in the huge campus and finding her dorm.

She had to ask around a few times but she managed to finally find the room. ‘This is it. You are going to meet your new best friend.’ She told herself as she placed down one of the bags she had been carrying. She unlocked the door and stepped inside.

I’m going to put her faceclaim in the first post!))

  • Landon was splayed out on the couch in the dorm with an irate expression prominent on his features. He was texting a girl he had left behind back in Michigan after he got accepted into the college in New York. She was just a week long fling but it was bafling just how attached some people could get in such a short amount of time. After sending what he hoped to be one last text, he sighed and put the phone down on the small coffee table beside the couch. Within seconds it buzzed noisily causing the young man to roll his baby blue eyes.

Ignoring the device he got to his feet and walked to his room that he had chosen upon getting there. At the foot of his bed lay his bag and on the bed was a single folded piece of paper. Taking it in his hands and unfolding it he read over the first sentence for what had to be the twentieth time. It was congratulating him on his achievements and informing that he was accepted. He had been ecstatic without a doubt but along with his parents, he hadn't expected anything less. He may be reckless and an ass along with several other insults that had been spat at him by numerous girls but he was smart.

The sound of the door opening brought the young man from his thoughts. Setting the letter down he strolled to greet his roommate but stopped short at the sight of a woman. "As much as I would love to get to see your pretty face everyday, I think you got the wrong room." He raised a brow and let his gaze travel from her face to her luggage. He was expecting a laid back guy that would throw parties with him and take countless shots without batting an eye. Not a peppy girl that looked like she just walked out of a bookstore.

  • Rose certainly did not expect to see a guy standing in her dorm room. She felt a light frown come upon her face as she reached into her pocket and pulled out the poet that told her her dorm number. She mumbled it under her breath in confirmation. She then allowed her gaze to travel back to the man standing in front of her. “No.. you must have the wrong room. This is room 34B. I’m in this room. The paper says it and my key wouldn’t have let me in if it was the wrong room.” She informed. Her excitement completely faded then and she was mostly filled with disappointment, as well as some confusion. Why would the college room her with a guy? Well that was even if he had the right room. Watch it already be some prank. She didn’t want to already be getting made fun of on the first day.

She seemed to pay no attention to his comment on her “pretty face”. She just picked up her other bag and walked into the room. She went to the free bedroom and placed her things down. She then came over and handed him her paper. “Here you are. It says I am in this room.” She stated somewhat confidently. This was her time to already set a good example of herself. She ran a hand through her hair to try and get it from her face. She then cross her arms across her chest.

As for her outfit, she tried to be “hip and fashionable” as everyone would put it. She wore simple dark jeans, a striped shirt, and a jean jacket. That was cool enough right? She let out a soft sigh. She didn’t want to have to go to the advisors and find out what was going on but she knew it would likely come to that.

  • His mind worked on the possibilities as the stranger handed him her paper. It did in fact say that this was the right room but so did his. This was just a simple mistake on the college's part, or it wasn't and he would have to room with a girl; which was certainly not a bad thing. "I don't have the wrong one either so I guess we're stuck together until it gets sorted out." He shrugged but couldn't help a smirk from forming. "Unless its not a mistake and you get to live with the hottest and smartest guy in the entire campus." To say Landon's ego was big would be an understatement, it was massive. He knew good and we'll he wasn't the smartest and he hasn't even seen half of the guys here to deem himself the most attractive but nevertheless there's wasn't a trace of hesitation in his voice.

"Well might as well get acquainted, Landon Moretti." He gave a charismatic smile and leaned his back against the wall as he looked her over shamelessly. With light dirty blonde hair, green doe eyes, and a petite physique he really did find her pretty. "So, gorgeous, what do should I call you?" He used his usual line that nearly always worked when he was trying to charm his way into a girl's pants.

  • She couldn’t believe that a college like this would make such a simple mistake like this. How hard was it to room a guy and another guy together? They didn’t need to overstep boundaries and mess with things like this. She planned to take it up with administration and hopefully get everything fixed. She kept her gaze upon the male standing, well leaning against the wall. “Don’t worry. I will talk to someone about it and hopefully it will get sorted out soon.” She said simply. She felt a light frown come upon her face as she saw the light smirk began to spread upon his lips. Her mouth parted open some at his next statement. How could someone have that big of an ego? She allowed her eyes to roll then. She wanted to make a smart comment back, but was restraining herself.

She could tell by the way the other was acting that he must be a guy that every girl fell for. That would make them rooming together even worse. She raised an eyebrow at him and let out a laugh. “You can call me Rose. Rose Walters. I don’t need your petty little compliments. I am here to get an education, something I worked so damn hard for. So please keep your comments like that to yourself.” She said in a somewhat firm tone.

  • An amused look crossed his features when the girl before him rolled her eyes at his cocky words. She seemed to want to say something but he didn't press the matter as she introduced herself as Rose and made a few insistent statements. Raising a brow Landon was quick to respond with a mockingly hurt expression. "Keep my petty little compliments to myself?" He moved away from the wall and drew close to her. "Whatever you say gorgeous." It was almost like a challenge to him now, see how annoyed she got before he would resort to using her actual name. Her curt tone didn't seem to affect him in the least as he continued speaking.

"You said you worked hard to get here. Does that mean you don't know how to loosen up and you won't come to a party with me later?" He questioned, simultaneously asking her about herself and inviting her to tag along with him to a party. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a box of cigarettes and picked one out. The box was half empty and he had bought it two months ago, though he wasn't a heavy smoker it helped him relax and that's exactly what he wanted before he headed out for the 'get together'. Taking out a lighter he moved to light the white stick that was held between his lips.

  • Rose continued to gaze at him, not seeming to lighten up any when she saw the look upon his face. She couldn’t believe she might be stuck with someone like him. She always hated people along these lines. She would just be able to prove her point as to why she hated them even more now. “Yes. Keep your stupid little compliments and statements to yourself. I honestly tend to dislike people like you. I think it will continue with you, especially if I am stuck with you.” She informed. She watched as he began to walk closer to her, internally panicking. She sucked, to say the least, when it came to times like this. She didn’t know how to back herself up properly and she usually ended up flustered. She planned to try her hardest to Not this time.

“For your information, Landon, I do know how to loosen up. Also, why would I go to a party on the first night that I got here? I don’t know anyone, besides yourself unfortunately. I don’t need to get drunk or do anything that I will regret.” She informed. ‘Hey, not bad. Look at you. Standing up for yourself finally and not getting fluster. Hell yeah!’ She gave herself a little mental boost as she watched him pull the cigarette out. It didn’t exactly bring the most pleasant of memories to her. She did have a brother. Her family did their best to try and disown him though. He wasn’t considered a “model citizen’. He turned to smoking and later on drugs before he moved out. Well it was more on the lines of her parents kicking him out. “Don’t you dare light that cigarette in my face. If you truly would want to impress me bucko, you would toss that entire pack into the garbage right now. Cigarettes bring back crappy memories.” She muttered the last sentence. She looked down to her feet then.

  • "Damn gorgeous you might actually end up hurting my feelings." He took the cigarette away from his mouth and chuckled at how blunt she was being. He never liked two faced people anyway not that anyone really did. Rolling his eyes as she spoke about the party he raised his brows. "That's what the party is for, no one knows anyone, we're all going to get to know each other in all kinds of fun ways." He winked before addressing what else she said. "And you don't have to drink. Who knows? Maybe they'll have little juice boxes for people like you." He teased and moved to bring cigarette back up to his lips ignoring the jabs she took at having the misfortune of knowing him.

Her threat made him pause midway and his gaze moved to her figure "If I did dare what would do?." His voice held a hint of a challenge as he contemplated on doing what he did best and rebelling against what she wanted. As she lowered her head he sighed inaudibly, Landon hadn't pursued a future in psychology purely for the fact that he was terrible with comforting people and helping them with their issues. "So that settles it, you're coming to forget the 'crappy memories' and meet new people. It'll be fun fun." Reluctantly he shoved the stick into his pocket at the end of his sentence.

  • She let out a somewhat frustrated groan when she heard him call her ‘gorgeous’ once more. She shot him a quick glare for doing so. Her green eyes widened when she heard his next statement though. “That is not what parties are for! A-At least I don’t think that’s what they are for.” She trailed off into mumbles then. She clearly had never actually gone to a party. She was considered to be a huge nerd back in her hometown. She used to get picked on a lot. She only got through all of it by assuring herself that one day she would be wealthy, while they would be serving her food at a fast food place. Her somewhat shocked expression quickly changed to some anger as he continued to talk. “You are so lucky that I do not punch you right now.” She informed in a slight warning. She knew that she might by the end of the day if he continued how he was going.

She didn’t waste much time in responding to him. “I would probably smack you across the face, which I am sure you have had happen to you multiple times.” She stated. She was trying to be upfront about things for once. She figured it would be a good way to start things out. She had been doing good, until the memories of her brother resurfaced. She slowly lifted her head, raising an eyebrow some as she looked to him. “Who said I wanted you to make that decision for me? And why did you say fun twice?” She inquired. She was going to school for literature so it bothered her some when people did things like that. She was a bit surprised to see him put away the cigarette but she didn’t comment on it.

  • The double fun thing was typo, I was on mobile my bad xD

Her exasperated groan only encouraged his mischievous demeanor and his eyes shone with amusement when she talked of punching him for his comment. "Fine, that's not all they're for but have you ever even been to one?" His gave an inquisitive raise of his brow, he really didn't need to ask but he didn't like assuming things about people just as he didn't like things being assumed about him.

"What do you mean? Why would anyone want to smack me?" Mirth was clearly evident in his voice as he gave a seemingly innocent look. Her question made him shrug. "Alright gorgeous if you really don't want to come. I just thought you said you knew how to have fun." Briefly shooting her a pointed look he reached up a hand and brushed a piece of her hair back. "I guess you could just wait here for me all alone." His voice lowered to a murmur at his next words. "Maybe even with a little less clothes on." Landon knew good and well this would irk Rose but he didn't let any sign of playfulness show as he let his hand linger on her soft cheek for a moment just simply to see how she would react.
