"Kharjo can watch him. I've been stuck here for the past 9 months; I would like to get out. Plus, I'm tougher than I look, so I should recover quite quickly," she said persuasively. She loved Beric and wanted to spend time with him, but she also wanted to go out.

Tobias was kind of frustrated, everything was being pushed on Kharjo lately and it made him feel guilty. Tobin sighed and gave a nod. "Fine, i suppose he can."
-
She frowned and paused. "Orrrr, you could stay and watch Beric. Kharjo and I could go- he's been doing everything lately."
-
"Are you sure?" He asked, awfully surprised she offered to spend time with a cat like him.
-
She nodded. "Plus, then you get to rest with little Beric," she said, right as Beric woke up and opened his red eyes. Amara quickly hid her frown with a smile.
-
Tobin sighed, thinking for a moment. "Ok." He shrugged, deciding to stay. He frosted Khsrjo to keep her safe.
-
She kissed Beric's head before heading out with Kharjo.
//i was thinking she'd be weak from delivery and not getting enough blood recently, so she gets injured in some way and it timeskips to when kharjo's helping her back?
-
//That works
Tobias settled into bed, deciding to nap the passing time away with his son. He didn't realize how tired he really was.
-
Amara was leaning against Kharjo, looking awfully beaten up. Blood dripped from her mouth and nose, and she had two black eyes. Not to mention the cuts all around her body. Even as a vampire, this was too much and her body was unable to keep up. She had lost too much blood, and she knew she would need more quickly.
-
Amara said she could handle herself, Kharjo had took her word but instantly regretted it. He gently sat her down on the couch. "Ill go get him." He assured. Tobin looked over as Kharjo stepped in. "Downstairs." Kharjo orderedn taking Beric. Tobin narrowed his eyes and headed down cautiously. He came upon Amara and stepped over, kneeling down. "Drink." He ordered sternly.
-
She shook her head, turning her face away from him. She'd rather die than drink again. She already regretted all of the past times when she had allowed herself to drink from him.
She really was a monster.
"I can't," she managed to say, her voice wrenching with pain.
-
Tobias leaned up to face her directly. "Its the only way your getting yourself healed. Drink." He continued firmly. "Please." She needed it.
-
She whimpered, fighting with herself. She finally decided not to do it. She couldn't. She didn't want to be a monster- didn't she hunt vampires, and creatures as cruel as herself? Tears flooded down her cheeks, the salt stinging her open wounds. She didn't want to be a monster anymore. She wanted it to end. "I don't want to be like this," she whispered, sounding so heartbroken that JellyEllyBelly is close to tears.
-
"We can fix you Amara, just drink! Dammit you need to heal and recover!" He said, desprate to get her help. "Drink, please..." He begged. He would fix her, swear to fix her, but she needed help first.
-
She finally gave in after hearing the desperation in his voice. She reached up and bit into his neck gingerly. When she was done, she laid back down and motioned for Tobin to lay next to her. "Can you ask Kharjo to get Beric?" She asked quietly. Speaking still took too much strength for her at this moment.
-
Tobias felt light headed when she finished. He nodded before looking behind him. "Kharjo!" He called. The male made his way down, Beric still in his arms. Kharjo noticed the slight pale tint to his tone but said nothing, understanding. Tobias laid back, just glad she could heal, and fast, now that she had fed. She would be ok. He hoped.
-
Amara grabbed Beric from Kharjo's arms and held him close to her. Beric had silver hair and red eyes. He looked like both of his parents. Amara blinked and stroked his head, while also snuggling up to Tobin. She kissed him softly on the head and closed her eyes, her wounds already feeling better.
-
Tobias closed his eyes, laying back. The lightheadedness getting to best of him as he blacked out as soon as he was able to lay his head down. Kharjo nodded slowly in understanding before starting off to leave the three be.
-
Amara went to sleep, holding Beric. When she woke up, Beric's fangs were latched onto her neck and was bleeding her dry. She didn't know what to do so she shook Tobin awake.
-
Tobias slowly woke, he looked over, glaring. He pulled Beric away with a huff and held him to where he could feed if needed. He sighed and laid back again.
