    TEETH hmm, i think luther might gravitate to zaiden a little, since they're both kinda quieter. but he'd be like super subtle about it, because getting even a little close to someone goes against like everything he stands for

    I finally drew Zaiden! I edited his app to have the drawing. Also, my wisdom teeth came out way easier than expected so I'm not as exhausted as I expected. c: Needless to say, I'll be as active as I can.


    Antani Ohh, I can see that happening. Zaiden won't mind Luther lingering around but he won't go out of his way to befriend Luther. Maybe Zaiden keeps an eye on him since Luther has been bullied?


    Ivan Dark I don't think I entirely understand your characters powers, if you could explain a bit more. Otherwise, accepted! I'm going to fix up the dorm room thing and start the RP thread in the next half hour hopefully!



    Antani   SmoothCriminal Sounds good to me! I was planning on having him and Lex get into like a butt load of fights, so you guys could have your characters maybe egg him on even, idk. Should they get on his nerves in a 'dickish friend' kind of way or a 'this guys an idiot' kind of way?

    PenguinCafe owen would definitely do it in a 'dickish friend' kind of way, but i think he'd have a pretty good idea of how to push jack's buttons, and would push him to the point where jack would actually get mad at him.


    mmm and i think owen wouldn't really go out of his way to be a dick. it just kinda happens. he might egg him on to pick on people or whatever, but if it gets too far, owen would probably turn around and start bashing on jack

    It is sort of hard to explain it without setting up a scenario of some kind. Does this help?

    I think its also better if I outright say think of it as magic(though I feel that might not exist in this RP and I'll have to come up with another explanation for why and how his powers work).

    Say a person with this ability is faced with a threat, say another student. Right off the bat, if the 'secret keeper' is experienced, they will already have memorized five secrets/conditions that they can easily weave into their airspace; their personal space.

    Now, if this space gets violated in anyway, as in if a threat, either the enemy or anything he throws the keeper's way, one or more of these secrets will activate their effects. Now these effects will range from defensive responses, such as shields that block or reflect attacks, evasive responses such as forcefully propelling the keeper to a set distance away from the threat, or a more aggressive retaliation such as magic missile-type projectiles to meet the enemy. Other effects can be named, but most are going to be arcane based, encircling similar effects such as the ones above.

    So, let's say the keeper has five secrets with these conditions

    1. If the user is threatened by a projectile, the projectile is reflected.

    2. If the user is threatened at melee range, the user is moved 10 ft to the left

    3. If the user's secret 1 is activated, unleash 3 energy projectiles.

    4. If the user's secret 2 is activated, create an energy shield for the user that absorbs the next incoming attack

    5. If the user's secret 3 and 4 are activated, repeat the response of secret 3.


    So, then it works like what it sounds like. If the enemy attacks the user up close, 2 procs, and the user is transported to the left 10 ft. Then, according to the sequence, 4 activates, as it has satisfied the condition, creating a shield for the user. Two secrets will have then been used. Then, if the user is attacked with a projectile, the projectile is reflected back in accordance to secret 1. Then, 3 procs, unleashing the projectiles and then finally 5 procs in accordance to 3 and 4 being activated, successfully activating all of the secrets.


    Then, once all secrets are used up, the user can create another web of traps with different conditions.


    I will now take questions lol, 'cause I know there are some things I probably left out.

    And I'll make sure the effects aren't over-the-top too. Most of the ones that are aggressive are usually, at most, equal to the power of the threat that they're facing. And there are gonna be some that are actually going to work against my character too, as well as some interesting ones. There are some passive ones that are just naturally occurring, such as


    1. whenever the user likes a person, their eyes change color.

    2. Whenever the user lies, they will slowly get softer until they are mute; the effect wears off as they start telling the truth.

    3. When secret 1 is activated, the user will have the strange urge to go to the bathroom.

    4. When secret 3 is activated and once the user is in the bathroom, the user no longer has the urge mentioned beforehand.

    5. When all other secrets have activated, the user will revert back to their normal state.


    Stuff like that.


    Also, there's some other things to note, since this ability alone is kicking my creativity's butt for ideas.

    -He actually writes the conditions down in a note book and memorizes the most important ones beforehand, since he always starts with 5. Then, if he needs to 'cast' more, he'll open his book(probably small enough to keep on him), and create some that way.

    -The word and in a condition increases the response's effectiveness, but decreases the secret's viability, making it harder and more specific to activate. The word and in a response decreases the response's effectiveness. So condition + and, then response = stronger response, but condition, then response + and = weaker response. Thus, condition + and, then response + and = balanced response. The word and can be used as many times as the user desires, but it will always be more specific, and thus harder to activate, since all the and's have be fulfilled at the same time.

    -The word or in a condition increases the likelihood of the secret being activated, but reduces the effectiveness of the response. The word or in a response doesn't do much, only adding to a randomness/unpredictability factor to the secret, as or makes the response(s) equally possible to be carried out, and thus have a chance to be activated. i.e. condition + or, then response = weak response. condition, then response + or = balanced response, but 50/50 chance of response 1 or response 2.

    Physicalities: She can manipulate her body while in a device, so any special traits are up to her mood. Once she exits, her body is returned to normal. Her physical body does have a a few scars she got from home as well as dyed hair.


    Personality: Eleanor is rather spontaneous. She's nerdy, loves puns, and loves to scare students by messing with their electronics. She tricked some of the students into believing the idea that the school is haunted just by flashing the lights on and off. While she knows her situation is a nightmare, she actually enjoys being stuck. She's able to enter games, travel all over the net, and collect tons of information. Food and other necessities are not needed while in the digital world so she sees that as a huge pro. She does have periods of intense loneliness as she is unable to have a physical connection with people.


    History: Her family wasn't the kindest. Her father was an alcoholic and her mother a stranger that rarely showed her face. Eleanor used to get into multiple fights with her father, resulting in her gaining cuts and bruises, until it was discovered that she could enter electronics. At first she would only enter devices to escape her father's rage, but after spending a whole day in her laptop, Eleanor found herself unable to exit. After being trapped, she literally emailed herself to the academy in order to find help.

    Roommates: oof, she doesn't really need a room so long as she has a safe device to stay in.


    Plot Ideas: It would be interesting for her start messaging another student (who doesn't know of her situation) and that they slowly start to fall for one another online/over text.


    She can also blackmail people easily since she can enter their phones and all. Maybe she has some sort of business where students hire her to collect blackmail? Eleanor can also repair/restore devices so long as they aren't physically broken.
