  • every word that began to come from littlestar’s bitter mouth caused koday’s temper to only flare. who was she, to come demanding techno back? that hadn’t stolen her, she had come willing and she was having fun all the while. parties, games...what the hell did lit think their clan was like? they had a familial structure. the exiles all loved each other dearly and would protect one another — just as they were doing for technokit now. they weren’t savages that murdered each other. they were a family that would destroy anyone who threatened them, and there was a big difference. the growl that sounded from his throat was anything but quiet. it was guttural, dangerous, and loud. "she belongs where she wants to belong." koday said, fiercely, his golden gaze burning with anger towards the leader, "and you know what? she hasn’t been scared one bit since she’s been here! she’s had fun." he added hastily, his ears pushing back and his muscles tending and hunching up even further as the tensions between the hawkclanners and exiler began to rise. this was not going to go good. tech had made it clear she didn’t want to go home, didn’t want to be with them....and yet they persisted? didn’t they have a pair of fucking ears. shit, didn’t they have a fucking mind at all?

well, obviously not. because while koday was successful in blocking littlestar’s path, she ignored his words. one way to make him angry? it was to ignore him. she continued to be where she was, a couple steps across the border and clutching, outstretching her arms as she beckoned for the little girl to come with her. the rumbling from earlier only intensified. "I said back off!" it was probably the first time he had yelled in utter rage in a long, long time. and with that, he took a step forwards, then another, aiming to force her to move backwards and further away from the group and away from the territory. he had been in techno’s paws. he had suffered from running away and then being forced back home into a family that didn't understand how he functioned and his needs in order to function. he had been in the exact place of fear, trembling and begging for his guardians at the time to help keep him there....and what had happened? his guardians stepped aside, his angry and drunk father grabbed him roughly by the scruff ( and it hurt, as his angry grip was far stronger than his normal one ) and quite literally drug his unwilling and fearful form back home where he simply couldn’t live....not with his brother, not after what he did. and he was forced into the toxic environment. and now....they were trying to do what seemed the very same thing to techy? and they expected his clanmates and him to stand by and let that happen? no. not after what he went through. he would never forgive himself if he stood by that.

it was then that karma stepped in — and koday was quite thankful that yet another strong exiler was here to help defend the child. he held all good points, and koday agreed with every single one of them. they had no entitlement, she could go back if she wanted to, and this was tech’s home and family, now. not them. why couldn’t they get that through their fucking heads? it was behind him because he actually had a brain to think with. anyways, koday was about to give some snarky remark once more, but there was suddenly the sound and smell of something burning, as well as bright fire. what the fuck? did she just combust? he glanced back there, looking to assassin and rosalie with concern as to what happened.....but the fire went out quickly after as she began to calm down. did she always catch on fire when she was upset? Hell, he didn’t know! he hadn’t never seen her upset because she was always pretty happy, here. the massive direwolf calmed down, though his breathing was still deep and and seething with anger and anticipation — mainly to either get them away, or, if they dated challenge them again, a fight. he had been perfectly fine having a arther peaceful day and had been in a decent mood when he was talked to with respect by Ichigo....but with lit’s words and demanding to take her and the hostility in her voice as well as techy clearly staring she didn’t want to go, it was game over and decision made. no more fun time. it was time to protect her, to prevent her from getting taken into an environment that wasn’t right for her as her had once been. it was then that she began saying that she wasn’t dark and bad, that koday’s eyes turned away from lit once more and looked to her. the fire in his gaze died down temporarily as he looked upon her with a soft confusion. what? was she blaming herself? "heyheyhey, techy....that’s not true, alright? You didn’t cause this. they came down here and ruined our fun by disobeying what you said. you can’t blame yourself for them..." his voice had lowered severally notches and held the softness they would usually hold towards someone in need, but it didn’t be last long as Aron began speaking and actually talking sense to lit, suggesting they leave. once more, he turned to face the hawkclanners, an angry scowl upon his face as the aggitation within his gaze returned once more. his body was tense and ready as his fierce gaze swept across them. and then rosalie, who had stayed the most calm out of all the exilers, began speaking with that warm and motherly tone. koday’s jaws clenched and his teeth gritted. did he want rosie escorting her back alone? no. who was to know if the hawkclanners would ambush her then? maybe if they went as a group — two or three of them at least. anyways....let them come here whenever they pleased? koday almost snorted at the thought, but only glanced to rosalie with a small huff. bargaining time, was it? except for it was now less like bargaining and more on his terms...which actually felt kind of nice. "you can visit, but under conditions that you stay on the other side of the border," he glared towards littlestar, "-come on non-hostile terms and show no aggression towards any of our members — meaning don’t get a fucking attitude when we tell you to fucking leave. and you stick around only as long as she wishes to see you. " koday finished, eyeing and making sure it was clear to all the hawkclanners gathered. it was fair and common sense in his opinion, but it came to show today none over there had any but Aron and maybe ichigo. "if you fail to keep that, you’ll get one reminder...and if you continue? you’ll pay the consequences." his words had lowered considerably from earlier as he was thinking more on logical terms rather than emotional ones.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ It kept on rising, people yelling- mostly at her- the anger in the air was so visible she could practically see it coming off of peoples forms. Her own rage reacted, the flames inside twisting and coiling like a dancing cobra. She clenched her teeth and tried to restrict the screaming in her mind to just that. Her daughter was already scared enough by the conflict and the tense situation. "Oh, fuck off!" She looks at Koday as the other drops down from the trees and began spilling insults. Sense of entitlement? No. She just wanted her daughter in safety's arms, not with a bunch of fucking murderers that would probably torture her to death should she ever leave it. She didn't even care that she was tresspassing on their territory. She only wanted one thing and that wasn't a fight. "She's not one of you. She's a HawkClanner and she'll always be a HawkClanner." Her daughter- an Exiler? Not in her world she wasn't. It wasn't as if Littlestar was 'disappointed' or angry at Techno for going her, she was fucking terrified.

I just don't want her to be hurt.

"And I love my daughter. I don't want her to be hurt and that's all you do. Hurt." They were claiming her in this stupid way. Techno wasn't one of them. She was her daughter, a HawkClanner and she belonged with family. They were all fucking blind, they were all fucking stupid. They didn't know how to raise her kid, only she did. But what got her really riled was Beatrice's comments- in what fucking way did the jaguar ever think accusing her of being a bad mother was a good fucking idea? She stabbed her claws into the ground and it was really all she could do to hold back from slicing the felines throat open and ripping out her own jugular with her fucking teeth. She opened her mouth to speak against the Exilers words when her daughter exploded into blue flame. A sight that was familiar but in a different way- she exploded into flames multiple times before and she knew that Techno got it from her. Her face fell, heart folding, only knowing the kind of pain and stress Techno was feeling right now. But couldn't she see that her real family was right here, in HawkClan? Why didn't she understand that?

"I'm not scared of you. I love you, moma." Then why won't you come home? We can help you to be unafraid of yourself. We can help you learn not to hurt others. I learnt it! I can teach you! "My new friends...we have fun. I like them and it's okay here." Isn't it okay at HawkClan too? Why don't you like it there? What did I do wrong? "I-I don't want to come home because I don't want to cause any more trouble than I already have. I did this too. All of this fighting and arguing, the threats. My badness is spreading and I'm so so sorry..." It was never you. You didn't cause the trouble- I did. I wish you could know that but they won't let you listen. I'm sorry too, Tec.

Aron spoke for her, she was just wordless, taken aback by her daughters decision. It was her decision and no one elses and she knew that now. Weakly she stood back up and took a step out of the territory. Aron leaned towards her and suggested they get going. She didn't nod but she knew it was true. She knew Rosalies words promised true, even if they came from the mouth of an Exiler, but she couldn't help but feel as if she was losing a huge part of her. Those claws of shadow just kept on ripping into her heart, black blood oozing. She was torn and broken and she now knew there was no going back. She didn't nod, again, but looked to Rosalie- mother to mother- and her golden eyes spoke all that shey couldn't.

Koday's words didn't reach her. Nothing did at this point. Like she said before, she didn't care that they issued threats that to her were empty. They couldn't damn reach her if they tried.

Littlestar limped from the territory and left the place where a piece of heart resided.

  • ICHIGO KUROSAKI

Former Hawkclan leader - over sized cougar - roleplayed by sorrel

i don't fight because i want to win, i fight to win!

"You knew this was going to happen didn't you?"

"Partially yes, but I hoped it would have never come to this"

"I can make it easy for you know? It would be easy to watch all these things melt in front of us don't you think?"

"Shut up. You know we can't do that, and I'm not going to let you out again so shut up so that I can think properly!"

Ichigo could feel the pain in his head as he watched more and more exilers come forward. Of course, he knew that they were going to have to potentially end up leaving his granddaughter here, but he had been hoping that he would be able to convince her that everything was going to be okay. That it would be enough to hear that they didn't blame her for anything. Aron was right though, the others getting upset over something that they hadn't even done. A low growl escaped the Shinigami's jaws as others that were staring to get pissy for no reason. They were here to TALK. They weren't going to force anything on anyone. They weren't unreasonable creatures like the Exiles that took children from their own mothers. "We haven't even crossed over onto your territory yet if you are that blind. We're still on our side and we haven't made any sort of aggressive actions toward any of you. If anything all of you are acting uncivil by raising your damn voices and causing Techno to be scared of what she thinks is what is her own doing when its not. We came here to talk. We are CIVIL. We aren't going to force anything onto anyone which I thought you would have come to realize by now when we didn't come and try and take her away with a raid or something." Ichigo made sure that he spoke calmly instead of adding to the shouting matches that were going on. This was a child that they were talking about. A child that was afraid and didn't know what kind of world that was out there. Sure Techno had gotten attacked when she was young from at least what he heard about her. The wildcat knew that she knew what pain was, but she didn't know the past of the Exiles. It was only because she had decided to stay here that they were going to welcome her with open arms. When he had dealt with the Exiles, he wasn't even sure who was leader at the time, but they were more willing to steal children and then torture them close to death and only end up returning to them in mangles.

He had been away for almost two years and didn't know what it was like of course. Ichigo was about to open his mouth to say something when suddenly bright blue flames flickered up into the sky, causing Ichigo's body to immediately tense. He had nearly been burnt to a crisp by those flames before. The Shinigami thought that Techno was going to transform right then and there, making his head lean slightly to the left as he prepared to unsheathe his sword when there wasn't any need to do something like that. The cougar watched as suddenly the fire began to die down, and he lowered his head as a concerned look was on his granddaughter. The words that came from his granddaughters mouth felt like he had just been shot in the heart. It made his breath hitch. She was thinking so lowely of herself, but the other didn't know that she could easily control the thing that was inside of her. Sure it could end up taking some time to actually get through but he believed that she was strong willed enough to get through. His gaze turned to look at Aron as the other began to speak toward his granddaughter. Ichigo immediately began to shake his head as he was sitting down again. "No no kiddo none of this is your fault. Some people just get the wrong idea and you shouldn't blame yourself for everything that happens. Most animals go through the same phase that you are going through alright? Including your grandpa. We'll make it through this okay, and your family is always going to be here with you. All that we care about is that you're safe and we just want to provide the best possible life for you." A life that he couldn't give to his own children. Ichigo was always trying to make amends with the children that were long dead now. He had been too weak to protect them, but he was hoping that he would be strong enough to protect his daughter and his granddaughter alike. He wanted to move over toward his granddaughter and give her a hug, but he wasn't allowed that chance despite being family. Just because the Exiles hadn't done anything to Hawkclan. Back in the day, this would have been very different. They would have let each other tell each side of their story and that would be the end of that. Ichigo's ears would be angled toward Rosalie though when she talked. He didn't like the idea of someone else raising his granddaughter, but at least this female had a little bit of sense. Whether not she was lying or not he didn't care as she seemed to be somewhat genuine.

When Koday made a move toward his daughter though, Ichigo was quick to immediately stand in between the dire wolf and his fellow Hawkclanner. Blue flames almost began to flicker around the side of his body that was facing Koday, and Ichigo's eyes changed to be several shades darker. The flames wouldn't burn the Exiler, but it would certainly be a deterrent as he was acting as a shield for his daughter. "You will not touch my daughter." Ichigo would say in a low and commanding tone as his tail lashed behind him. The dire wolf wasn't bigger than him in all honesty. Dire wolves were only big considering their weight class. They were the same height as a regular wolf, they were just bulkier, and Ichigo himself was larger than a jaguar himself and was in a jaguar weight class. He didn't comment on the rest of what Koday said, before turning to look at Technokit, the flames now gone from his body. "Hey sweetheart I'll come and visit you soon okay? We can talk and play games, whatever you want." Ichigo would state as he would offer the hybrid a smile from his lips, something that was rare to even see at this point. Although it looked slightly pained. Either way, Ichigo didn't obviously state that he was going to follow the rules that Koday had placed. He would meet with Techno privately, and the other wouldn't even know he was there unless Techno told him. And if the other wanted to fight over something so trivial than so be it. He would cleave the dire wolf in half if it came to getting to his granddaughter. No one messed with family. Something that the Exilers believed in, but failed to see themselves when it came to others that weren't themselves. They weren't open minded enough. His brown optics watched as his daughter immediately began to leave though, and he nearly felt his heart stop at the sight of her. He mentally cursed as he took one last glance at the Exilers before trotting after Littlestar. Ichigo would give a silent signal for the rest of the Hawkclanners to follow. They would figure something out. With how quick Ichigo left, he wouldn't be able to hear any responses to his words.

  • She was scared right now, she was horribly scared that she was messing something else up. Everyone was saying it wasn't her fault and that she wasn't to blame but they didn't understand. Her little ears pulled back at the way her mother looked as she turned away from her. Her muzzle parted as if she was about to say something but nothing came out. Not a single word left her mouth as she watched Littlestar go. She wanted to apologize and there was some kind of urge in her that wanted to fling herself at her mother and cling to her but for some reason she didn't. She just stood there and watched, stared as the Exiles defended her choice and she finally turned her eyes to her grandfather, tails twitching with the anxiety that she felt but only gave him a muted nod of her head as he explained what everyone else was saying to her. They all believed but she just couldn't see it for herself at least not yet. So she didn't and instead she watched the Hawkclanner's leave before she suddenly turned and buried her head against Assasin's chest, trying hard not to cry over something she thought was still her own fault. Everyone was mad now and she just wanted to fix it.
