  • Moonflower, a recently joined small she-cat, a grey silver eyed shy cat, had recently come to the WindClan. As she sat at the camp, doing much nothing, she waited in thoughts, that when will she be a proper Clanscat. She didn't have the courage to ask the honorable cats here, so she mostly sticked alone to the occasional trees here at the plain. As she sat around, trying to help other cats with hunting sometimes, she was pretty much useless. And so thought Moonflower.

  • "Hello," Owlgaze padded towards Moonflower grinning. She was in a good mood today. She managed to catch a huge rabbit. The elders were pleased, she knew, even when they complained about the rabbit being wet.

She sat down next to her and started sharing tougues. She knew many WindClan warriors didn't acept this cat. But she liked her.

  • Moonflower turned her bored silver eyes to Owlgaze. "Hello, Owlgaze." she said, as she knew some cats' names already around here. "Was there something?" She knew, to join the Clan, she needed a supervisor. But would this cat be her supervisor? Hrmph, no one might know. Moonflower just sat and thought of these questions. She even may need to supervisors. And how does supervision go anyway? These questions bothered her much, she didn't feel well being useless.

  • Sharkpaw padded out of the apprentice den and approached Moonflower. "Hello, Moonflower." he mewed. "How's it like to be a Clan cat?"

  • "Oh hello Sharkpaw..." she said to the apprentice. "But I'm not a Clanscat yet. I still need a supervisor. And it needs to be a warrior. But I like being here in the Clan, if you meant that..." she also mewed slowly to the cat. She then looked to the camp's center grounds, watching the cats do their job. "If I would be supervised, I'll gladly help all the cats who need help. But now, I'm only just a hunter much here. Cats don't trust me for patrolling or anything yet. I'm not a full Clanscat, as I said." she talked, sighing.

  • "I know," Sharkpaw mewed. He himself didn't trust Moonflower, too. "But all Clans are like that. The Clan will trust you soon."

  • (For WindClan it's not supervisor but mentor. Also, if you're an apprentice, you last name has to be paw. So Moonpaw. Moonflower is a warrior name.)

  • (Ah, but she is a warrior! How could she come here as a loner then? She just wants to join the Clan. Sorry for the mess. >.<
Also, her past has to say her mother made her a warrior, before leaving the lone forest she was in. She just searched for a Clan.)

Moonflower nodded to the apprentice. She really hoped she will win the trust of the cats. This Clan was perfect and good, why not stay here? The she-cat just stayed quiet.

  • "Sharkpaw!" a voice called out. Sharkpaw turned and saw Flamefur behind him.
    "Oh, hi Flamefur." he mewed.
Flamefur stared at Moonflower. "Who's this?" he asked.
"This is Moonflower." Sharkpaw replied. "WindClan adopted her."
Flamefur snorted. "This loner wouldn't do any good to the Clan. I bet she's a spy from another Clan."

  • Moonflower's fur raised. "I am NOT a spy from another Clan! Why does everyone think that!? I knew someone would accuse me in this..." she expressed with a frown. She turned her head away in anger. It was clear the cat wanted trust, not thrust. She then lowered ears in shame and said slowly, clear what she did: "I'm sorry... Very sorry... I don't know what's wrong with me..." She turned her sad, sorry silver eyes to Flamefur, waiting an answer.

  • Flamefur hissed back at Owlgaze. "Fine, have it your way! But if that she-cat does anything cruel, don't come whining to me!" Flamefur padded away.
"I'm sorry about his behavior." Sharkpaw mewed. "His name's Flamefur, my mentor. He can sometimes have a rough tongue."

  • Moonflower turned her head to Owlgaze, surprised. "I---I think you're right...?" she said, but so quietly she wasn't to be heard. She only watched the argument. When Owlgaze said her last sentence, she looked at her. That she-cat was truly righteous. She also realised Flamefur was flamed up in his attitude, so Moonflower decided to Owlgaze's side, but without telling anyone. She just had to tell herself: Flamefur's like that. And she understood Sharkpaw, whose mentor did have a rough tongue. Moonflower's ears raised again. She looked at Owlgaze and said: "The only reason why I apologised was I don't want to get in trouble, Owlgaze." Moonflower was indeed shy and quiet, so she didn't say more.

  • That cat was also brave, thought Moonflower. She nodded, as not so familiar with any cats' life rules. She was a lone liver without seeing any cats and without living in any Clan, after all.

    Defending herself, yes.

  • "I don't understand you situation personally, as I was born WindClan," Owlgaze continued, " but I'm convinced you're loyal. One more for us is one less for them."

  • "Well... The truth is, I was never born in a Clan. WindClan was a Clan I was sure to join at my very first Gathering when I got there... The first time I saw warrior cats in Clans. And WindClan's also my very first Clan. I lived only with my mother..." told Moonflower. "And I'm sure I won't betray my very first Clan. I am also convinced this Clan is perfect for me."

  • Owlgaze nodded.

"Your colour will make you a great hunter in WindClan territory. The best hunters around have pelts in shades of grey." she gave her snowy white pelt a couple of licks.
"Stalking is a sign of weakness. We take down our prey by chasing them unlike other Clans: Their clumsyness makes them poor hunters at best. The flash of their bright pelts alert their enemies, even if their stench doesn't!"

  • "Really...?" said Moonflower in awe. This will be the perfect Clan, yes! Moonflower thought of being one of the best hunters. She has a light grey pelt, after all. She looked at her pelt. "But it may make harder to me to hunt at night. It shines against the moonlight like a mirror, but... If I hide in bushes or dark high grass like here, it makes me almost invisible! My silver eyes don't shine in dark much." mewed Moonflower thoughtfully, happy she had such opportunities. But then, she heard stalking is a sign of weakness. "It is?" she asked. "My best is at stalking... But I guess I need to learn it your way, Owlgaze..." She looked at Owlgaze. "Just that - I'm small and I couldn't run all that quickly. And I'm a bit weak for taking stronger force at something." she admitted in a little embarrasment, almost unnoticeable.
