  • The void dark form of the dragon cast his shadow across the white snowy plains of riverclan's territory - the snow fell lightly, ensuring that the white blanket would be replenished, if anything it was the perfect time for this.

"Alright my friends, this is gonna be a snowy massacre - there are no teams, this is one huge free for all with only the stipulation that no one gets hurt maliciously, this is a friendly bit of fun after all, so pick your targets and let em have it! - and for those that want a break or simply want to watch, i'll be over here-" he thumbed a claw at the bank with the shadowed trees behind him "as the designated 'rest zone' so if you need a breather, feel free to amble over"

the dragon clasped his claws together with something of a delighted twisted smirk "That being said, in the spirit of the season and for a bit of fun - You may begin this snowy slaughter...now!"

and oh would you look at that, various riverclanners were straight into the massacre, snowballs flying here there and everywhere while the dragon was just now curling himself under the bare trees, the heat of his scales melting the snow near him, cosy and set to watch the battlefield sipping at his own mug of hot chocolate.

couldn't beat snowy warfare for the holidays.

  • Shining considered himself a pacifist, never eager to get into a fight, always wanting to deescalate any situation that may prove to become violent. But he wasn't afraid to defend himself or his friends. Ready to protect them at all costs. Because the less people that got hurt, the better. However, all bets were off in the form of a snowball fight. Oh boy, was he a bit reckless in these, unafraid to show his snow-flinging strength.

Shining stepped onto the soft battlefield, covered not with blood, but with snow. His eyes began to glow as some snowballs formed themselves around him, floating in a semi-spherical fashion. Part shield, part snow cannon, ready to explore at anyone that he deemed needing of a avalanche. Now, who would be the first victim?

  • Ghostcountry didn't know if he wanted to join in on the Christmas fun. Not only was his paw still injured, but he didn't have any powers whatsoever. As a huge dragon walked across the field, and a winged cat started levitating snow balls, Ghost failed to muster the courage to jump in. Still, the feeling of walking away from a fight tugged at him. He liked to think he was a reformed pacifist, but of him would always love the adrenaline rush of a mock battle.

He had no idea how he was supposed to throw tiny spheres of snow without crushing them in his mouth, so he decided to settle for the next best thing. While Shininglight was creating his magical weapons of snow, Ghostcountry hide behind him, waiting a few seconds before enacting his plan. With a single motion, he would swoop down and start digging into the snow, aiming to bury the feline before he realized what happened. It was the perfect scheme, but he had no idea what would happen after his opponent discovered who attacked him. Ghostcountry would probably need a shield, but there wasn't anything big enough for him to hide behind.

  • Snowy massacre? Snowy slaughter? What was going on? Val had wandered over, looking for something to do while River was off hunting. As it got colder, it usually took her longer to return with food. So, he'd need a distraction.

Valemon stood at the center of the clearing, listening to what Luciferus was saying but not really understanding. That was, until others arrived and the dragon announced the go-ahead. Then, everyone around him began chucking snow in all directions. He watched in confusion as they scooped at the ground, some even building walls with the stuff. This didn't look fun at all and, despite the fact Anakin's cape kept him substantially warm, he didn't want to play. But, before he could make it out of there, the unfortunate cub was hit square in the side of his face by a rogue snowball. With a surprised gasp, Val's eyes widened and he wiped the snow from his cheek. It was definitely cold... but not as bad as he'd thought. Perhaps he should play. He looked down at the snow below his paws, only hesitating a moment before digging in. Everyone seemed to be making their projectiles round, but Valemon wasn't concerned with the shape. He just took a pawful of snow at a time, flinging it at whoever happened to be close to him.

  • ANAKIN SKYWALKER

    Riverclan - male - 5 years

Oh yeah, he was getting in on this- he watched when someone pegged Valemon in the face, and promptly pegged them back.

No one would hurt his baby.

Anakin moves swiftly, aiming to peg Shinginglight in the back of the head.

He felt one of Valemon’s hit his shoulder pauldron, but chose to ignore it.

Today was the pacifists' day to attack it seemed. And poor Shininglight; he was going to be outmatched soon if everyone followed this tread of attacking him... Hmm... Lessa would be merciful this time around, shaping and lifting balls of snow with the Force, narrowing her eyes on the sneaky Ghostcountry. Once someone decided to target her in retribution, she was sure she could muster up a shield - she could always burrow into the snow or slither up a tree - but for the moment she focused her energy on throwing three snowballs directly at Ghostcountry.

  • i will make you proud

i will make you have faith in me

    Oh heck yes.

Destrian wasn't a pacifist, but he wasn't one to leap headlong into fights either. But this... this was perfect. A massive snowball battle with his Clanmates, with no teams and one glorious winner? Ah, he couldn't help himself. The young scientist bounded onto the battlefield, blue eyes wide as he took in his possible opponents. Lucifer was out, thank goodness, while Shining, Val, Anakin, and Ghost all began their own attacks. Even Lessa, that quiet little pine marten healer, was getting in on it. He needed to come up with a plan. While everyone else was gleefully pelting each other, Des constructed a small trench and a barricade above it, tall enough for him to disappear if he crouched. Then, the feline built a small stack of snowballs and began throwing them in all directions. "Haha!" No scientific tricks today, just good old-fashioned fun.

  • Unlikely that his first attacker would choose to assault from the front- Shining knew better. His attention had been focused behind him, ears swiveled back to listen for anything flying through the air. So, unfortunately for Ghost, the Captain had been ready. He leaped diagonally forward, a bit to the right, as the place he had previously stood was covered with another blanket of snow. "You'll have to be a bit more sneaky than that," Shine chuckled, as one of the snowballs from his floating arsenal launched forward, aiming to hit Ghostcountry either in the shoulder or the chest.

He couldn't keep track of everything, however. The snowball that Anakin had thrown hit him near the base of the neck- a bit off-target from its intended point, but still a hit. At least it wasn't the face. Shine looked towards the armored lion with a small grin. "I'll let you have that one," he stated, aiming to return fire with two or three snowballs of his own towards Anakin. There was also a fourth, but it started curving in an arc, heading towards another target: Lessa. Because, well, even though she had been nice, this was a snowball war. All bets were off.

Lessa was, in all honestly, expecting retribution from perhaps Ghost, she had not seen it coming from Shininglight. It was hard getting the upper paw on a force-sensitive. Her nerves tingled. Instinct made her move before she was fully aware of what was happening. She did not even have time to throw up a shield with the Force, instead, she dropped to the ground and rolled. So of course, she was covered in snow by the end of it, which was no doubt the goal.

The doctor turned her sharp gaze on the source, eyes narrowing fiercely. It was every man to himself. Still. As dramatically as possible, she gave him a look of pure (mock)betrayal. Then summoned a snow barrage just for him. As soon as she was done however, she bolted, burrowing into the snow to create a mini-trench. She needed to take a breather before she could fortify more. Turns out Destrian had the right idea. Still. She'd climb up a tree if it didn't make making snowballs more difficult.
