The tom knew that he needed to start making amends and try to be seen as a true member of the clan again so he figured a little game may get him into others good graces. To lift some cats spirits and maybe even his own.. He stood out in the camp clearing, feeling a bit nervous on putting the kit-ish idea into action but he swallowed that down. "Good afternoon everyone! I was planning on starting up a game of Truth-or-Dare if anyone wants to join." Scorchedface felt like such a kit for calling out for others to play with him but- Oh well.

  • "Don't you think your a little too old for games, Scorchedface," Twilightpaw said her eyes shinning coldly as she came over. She looked the male up and down, her placid expression barely holding back a scoff. "Instead of playing games, we should be out hunting - or literally doing anything else, don't you think?" she told him calmly, though with a bit of irritation in her icey tone. Cats were starving and here Scorch was, playing a trivial game! "Unless you plan on daring everyone to hunt, the only truth your going to get is a bunch of dead cats on your paws." so came the wet blanket.

His blue eye locked onto the snobby apprentice, "This is my task, assigned by Obsidianstorm". Scorchedface's tail twitched in slight irritation though he soon found peace and kept an indifferent mask as he spoke to Twilightpaw. "You talk about this as if you cared though here you are complaining me doing a task that was assigned for me to do. I'm doing my job, what about you?" The scarred tom's voice was calm and he slightly tilted his head at the question that sounded less threatening then the words should've sounded.

  • Twilightpaw couldn't help herself as she let out a snort. Of course, instead of assigning patrols to protect the border or feed the hungry or even gather medicine for the dying, her oh-so-wonderful deputy had assigned one of the few able-bodied warriors to play a game. Yes, truly inspirational! Obsidianstorm would make a fine leader! Maybe he'd make all hunting patrols gather flowers next, or have the kits fight in battles while warriors slept in the nursery!

Another fine example for how there needs to be a massive change in the higher ups...But that was just Twilightpaw.

"You sure sound proud of yourself, playing a game instead of, oh, i dunno, feeding the starving," she noted, meeting the larger warrior's stare without even a blink. "My job finished a while ago - chores. I was going to ask Obsidianstorm for another assignment..." she looked Scorchface up and down before sighing heavily, "but it would appear I'd receive something just as ridiculous, so ill save myself the breath."

Sitting down, she wrapped her paws around herself and mewed dispassionately, "dare."

He saw the Lilystar in this apprentice, not to be confused with Printedrose who seemed to be a whole different cat than the one that stood as leader now. Was it a genetic thing? Does the family all eventually turn into.. Well like that. Scorchedface had some remarks for Twilightpaw though held his tongue, he knew better than to stoop to her level, it's what she wanted.

Dare? After how she spoken to the scarred warrior she now asked him for a dare? The tom slowly nodded his head, "I dare you to go a day without acting all high and mighty." His tone holding a challenge to it.

  • Twilightpaw blinked. She opened her mouth, then closed then, then opened it again - suddenly speechless. Go a day without acting high and mighty? But -

She hesitated, then she said with an awkward shuffle, "I - that is a bit..." she trailed off, her cheeks now alight beneath her dark fur. She stared in frustration at this male, at his implication. High and mighty? "I wasn't acting high and mighty," she hissed out finally, lashing her tail, once.

Sure, around cats like Hollypaw, when it came to intelligence she knew she was far superior - but she didn't act like it on purpose! High and mighty - she didn't act like that! She just commented on the rules, on the laws, she was a good citizen! Thats what good cats do, isn't it? Encourage following what is right and justly? Sure she made snide remarks on Obsidianstorm, but that was because he, too, was failing his job! Was she suppose to just accept that!?

She huffed, shuffling once more as frustration burned in her.

    High and mighty.

    High and mighty!

"Truth" she demanded through gritted teeth, refusing to acknowledged any further Scorchedface's insult.

    High and mighty!

    How dare he.

She couldn't bring herself to meet his gaze anymore.

  • ☀- "i understand, twi, that we should be working hard. but i feel, some relaxation is needed. if we have all work, no play, then all that will be accomplished is stressed out cats. the truth or dare was a simple retreat before we began our duties again." the deputy stated, approaching beside the younger molly. "if you want another assignment, i will give you one thats not ridiculous, like cleaning out the elders den and checking for ticks. now, would you want to relax, or do that instead?" sid asked, though, his serious tone didn't last long. he cared for twi, he just wanted her to understand where he was coming from. and, he wasn't threatening her, he wouldn't give her that, she didn't deserve it. if she asked, he would give her another task, such as hunting, or something to train with the other apprentices. he wasn't unjust.

"i'll join in the game," he commented, turning his attention from the apprentice to the warrior, his blue gaze amused.

"twilight, i believe your dare has been given. you can't change it." dreampaw stated, matter-of-factly. the fluffy she approached the group, her amber gaze watching the apprentice. she wasn't high and mighty? the apprentice scoffed, amused by her response and denial. she thought she knew everything! why was she lying and acting as if she wasn't? "i'm with you though. although, i am not joining." although a child, she would not join in a game involving them. she waas an apprentice now! she should be out and about, not playing truth or dare!"speech"

  • Twilightpaw completely ignored Obsidianstorm, distracted by Dreampaw's words. She felt her cheeks turn redder, and had to fight the urge to balloon them in anger. The looks she was getting from those around her made her want to cave in on herself. She hadn't been acting high and mighty though! It was just how she was, damn it. She stated facts and pushed for the rules because that was supposed to be a good thing, wasn't it? Sure she wasn't the politest of cats, but being polite - especially when one is her age - didn't yield results. That, and she just didn't realize her mannerisms were offending.

In other words, how was she supposed to take this dare if she didn't know how to stop this 'attitude' everyone kept saying she had?

She thought back to her fight with Hollypaw, how she had sincerely been trying to minimize damage. Logic, strategy, that was her forte, that was her talent. How was that bad? Why was it bad?!

Swallowing thickly, she looked away. "Fine." she said, her voice hitching with a squeak that she tried to hide with a cough into her paw, "Ill do my best." Tail curled tightly around herself, the black and white speckled molly wished she could just drop into the earth then and there. She detested her clan-mates. Their idiocy and ignorance, assuming she was cruel simply because she didn't fear the facts and the truth. Simply because she didn't cave to their whims.

Ice in her veins, the girl continued to stare hard at her paws as she growled out, "truth or dare, Dreampaw"

  • 「 i've got a secret — i know something you dont know」

dreampaw felt bad, for about two seconds, before deciding she didn't care. she didn't say anything bad, besides the thoughts in her head. she could've scoffed about anything! the creamed molly flicked an ear as she thought. truth, and be asked stupid questions. or dare, and be told to do stupid things. but wait... "i said i didn't want to play." she grunted, amber eyes locking with light green, challenging her. why? she wasn't sure, she just wasn't going to argue with her denmate. she had to sleep too close to her. ugh. "fine. ill join in this. dare." she said, rolling back her shoulders. how immature. but she wouldn't say that aloud, not due to fear, but simply because she was slightly able to be respectful. slightly. except to hollypaw, of course. plus, dare should be too bad. she was mousebrained if she was actualy to believe that though. • Twilightpaw's eyes sparkled with the lack of ducks she gave to Dreampaw's protest. Like she cared if she wanted to play or not. She made her presence known during the game, so she was going to play. Twilightpaw studied the molly, searching every contour of her cream physique and every expression that flitted across her expression. She didn't care enough, either, to analyze her and determine the best way to hurt her with a dare. She had requested one, so she'd give her one -

"Be quiet, " she told her, simply. Her tone was edged with ice, but calm nonetheless as she explained, "You can't talk for an entire day. Nothing. Open your mouth once and then I get to boss you around for the rest of the time, got it?" She didn't know why she bothered. This game was trivial, there were no real stakes. Dreampaw could break the rules right now and get off scott free. The fact that she hadn't wanted to play in the first place only encouraged that. She didn't have to be quiet, or follow the penalty of being Twi's slave, so why bother even suggesting it?

Thats why this game was useless.

Thats why they should be doing something productive, helpful.

But if she said that, she'd be making herself high and mighty, huh?

Clenching her teeth, she looked away.

She decided she hated this game,

no talking? well, then how was dreampaw supposed to do what she did best? she was about to retaliate, and talk, but she thought of something better. no, this would be amazing. something she knew would piss the other off. a smug smile was on her face, inching towards the other apprentice. so, she couldn't talk? well, she definitely didn't want to sit there like an idiot. she did it so quickly, it was brief, but obvious that it happened. dreampaw cat-kissed twilightpaw. the smug look remained on her face, before walking away, tail high in the air. she had done it, boys and girls. she retaliated in a way she hoped the apprentice would not have been able to expect. her amber eyes glinted in pride.

maybe, she could say she liked it. maybe, too much. "speech"

The tom blinked, watching as Dreampaw walked away with pride then he looked to Twilightpaw. What just happened..? The scarred tom looked to Obsidianstorm with a confused look, 'what just happened?' He mouthed to the deputy of Darkclan

  • Twilightpaw, sadly, knew exactly what happened. She wasn't an idiot, her mind didn't just go blank during times of surprise. She retained every memory for every experience was worth treasuring, is it not? Unfortunately, that meant she didn't really know how to will herself to forget. Forget seeing Dreampaw scoot in close, her smug face increasing inch by inch, before suddenly taking over the entirety of Twilight's vision and then -

Twilightpaw threw up her paw, touching it against her maw. She had been violated! VIOLATED! Burning red, Twilightpaw was utterly aghast! She looked at Obsidianstorm and Scorchedface, her fury growing even more by their dumb expressions. VIOLATED!

She snapped her gaze in the direction of Dreampaw, wanting so badly to scream and punch her ugly little face -

But she forced herself to take a deep breath.

She refused to give Dream the satisfaction of putting her down -

    HER FIRST KISS!

    - for that would mean she won. Thus, Twilightpaw composed herself, hugged her tail tighter around herself, and turned back to Scorchedface. This day was horrible. This game was horrible. She hated everything and everyone.

But she would not drop her persona of perfection.

Especially not in front of them.

    BUT HER FIRST KI-

"what happens now?" Twilightpaw asked, calmly, as if nothing had happened.

As if she wasn't internally screaming.

    VIOLATED!

  • NIGHTKIT;;

He had seen two of his clanmates smushing faces against one another, the first thing he saw upon exiting the nursery. He didn't think anything of it, having had believed it to be a way to simply show intimacy, similar to how cats groom one another or something like that, but Twilightpaw's reaction was confusing. Why did she look so offended by the touch, her paw against her maw.

Upon finishing up his just-woke-up stretches, he would prance over to the small group, ears perked and head tilted. "What's going on?" The question was directed at everyone there, wondering if it was something fun.

  • ☀- obsidianstorm blinked, his head jerking back in surprise, did they just.. casting his gaze to scorchedface, just in time to see him questioning it too, the deputy gave a srhug of his shoulders. "that happened," he said simply. two kits kissed. the next step? he knew dreampaw wouldn't play, and she couldnt talk to play, so he looked at twilight. "choose someone to ask someone else to play, i guess." he said. "since dream can't talk."

"were playing truth or dare, nightkit. care to join?"
