Tealkit was four moons old now. Only one moon and 22 days until I become an apprentice! I think. The tabby would always try to keep track of time. She thought that it was important. She had been in RiverClan for nearly two moons now, but she hadn't really done much at all. The little ball of fluff was almost non existent. She was scared of snow, and scared of water. She was scared of loud noises and thunderstorms, too. The kitten had become so fearful that she had also become reclusive.

However, now she was outside. Not around the edges of camp, but out in the open. Teal pounced on a leaf, playing around with it until it was blown away by the harsh leaf-bare wind. Her fur was ruffled by the cold, icy wind, and she was almost pushed forward. Her instinct was to run back into the nursery, but she decided that she would stay outside, to look for her leaf, or find another one. The kitten leapt into the air, actually trying to enjoy the wind instead of being scared of it. The way it carried her made her feel like she was flying. However, it only lasted a few seconds, and she didn't get very high or far off the ground. Only in her dreams would she spread wings and soar into the air like a bird.

  • There weren't many cats that Pun was familiar with in Riverclan. Not surprising, since he had only just joined. That, and most clan cats didn't seem to like Bloodclan all that much. Such a shame, considering he wasn't part of the twolegplace cats. That, and Bloodclan was so much fun, Riverclan would really enjoy themselves if they just relaxed a bit and have a party with the "ruffians" they oh so despised. Anyway, Pun didn't know many cats, yet, but he knew that one.

Smiling in amusement as little Tealkit bounced around, chasing a leaf and gliding with the heavy wind, Punchline flicked his thick tail once before deciding he was tired of doing chores (which he wasn't doing anyway) and approached. "Hey there tiny tealkit," he purred, only remembering her name because he had managed to make a pun about it the first time they met, "I didn't know you'd literally be blue-n away by me," he chuckled. Glancing at the leaf, he swiped it up with a darkly hued paw and extended it towards her. Wanting to join in on the fun - because what sane cat wouldn't? - he asked, "If I throw this in the air, think you can catch it?"

Tealkit's eyes lit up as she heard another voice, and turned around to see Punchline, the ex-BloodClanner she had met not too long ago. At first she didn't quite trust him, but now she thought the tabby was pretty cool, and really funny, in a good way. "Hi, Punchline!" The aegean kitten chirped. "I can try to catch it." She meowed, watching more leaves and twigs get blown away. Gliding in the wind was actually quite fun, and less scary than Teal originally thought it would be.
