  • //Oh yes I did. I revived her, but she is going to be in a different place

It was a peaceful winter day in the enchanted forest. The place was relatively quiet with the occasional sound of a small critter going around. The day itself was nothing special so far either as nothing had been going on for the clan that was super major.

Lierre was simply taking her usual stroll in the special terrain when she noticed something kind of peculiar in the distance. It looked to be a bunch of dead, crumpled flowers surrounding a large tree. It was almost like there had been a garden around it. Curious, the feline began to make her way closer to the unusual scene wanting to know more about what it was.

Once she came closer she realized it was like an abandoned home of some sort. There was a dead garden in the back area of it, and where there was supposed to be a hole in the tree was a door made of rotting ivy. Judging from the looks of everything it seemed as though the place had been abandoned for quite some time. Maybe about a month or so. It was kind of a shame as it seemed like it had once been quite a beautiful place.

Opening the door to look inside, the female noticed that everything also seemed to be left behind. Baskets of herbs left to wilt, some trinkets lying here and there, and an envelope laying in the corner. Being that the strange thing of folded paper seemed to be in decent shape, Lierre went over it. What she found even more peculiar was the simple phrase written on it. 'I am sorry, but I knew'

A subtle frown placed itself on the feline's maw as she opened the two carefully. She made sure to keep the phrases visible when she took the letter out of the first envelope. She quickly noticed what seemed to be marks made by tear drops on the paper. Placing that thought in mind, she began to read the paper from the letter labelled 'I am sorry'.

Had Fadingmoon ever been to the house that Alice had resided in? She could not recall. However, she noted a Clan mate slipping into the forest and decided she'd tag along. However, she wasn't as fast as Lierre, so the other female had already entered the house when Fading arrived on the scene. She pushed open the door, which gave a little creak to announce her presence and she made her way over toward Lierre. The other female had been reading some writing, which caught the feline's attention. "Hey, whatcha' got there?"

  • Lierre didn't even seem a little caught off guard when the paladin commander came up beside her. No, she was more focused on the tear stained letter. From what she could tell there was quite some regret and heartache in her words. She may have never known the other personally, but she felt like she could kind of understand. Not entirely as she hadn't been in the same exact situation, but enough to understand her pain.

"It is a goodbye letter from a girl named Alice. Did you know her?" The feline questioned as her ivy green hues when over to FadingMoon. She was sure by the amount of respect she had from others, and the title she had that she probably had been at BlizzardClan for over a moon. Maybe she could tell her about this strange Alice. Who she was like, and what had happened to her that made her feel as though she had to leave.

Lierre figured she would like to read it as well and handed over the letter to her. After all, if she had been a friend of hers maybe she would like to see the words for herself. She almost wished she could have met the guilty feeling girl so she could maybe help ease her mind. After all, it didn't sound like everything had been her fault.

A look of surprise was apparent on Fading's face. Yes, she knew an Alice. Not very well, of course, but the girl had been in BlizzardClan for a bit and of course the Paladin Commander had tried to know the faces of her Clan mates. "If it's the same Alice, then yes I knew her. I don't know much about her, though. She kind of just disappeared, but that's pretty common here," the feline answered as she accepted the letter.

Scanning it over, her surprise was only more apparent. "So, she left to escape her past more or less. Sometimes that works, but in my experience it doesn't. Arno...I don't remember him too well either. I think he was exiled though? It may have been during my time of inactivity." The feline set the letter down, blinking at Lierre. How had she even found this place?

  • Alice, Arno- they were both familiar names, though Pierce had not been close to either of them. He could distinctly remember the time Arno had attacked Emmaline, however, another old clanmate of his. It had been a great big mess, but in the end, Arno had been exiled and Emma had lived, so all was well. Pierce had no idea that the house he just saw Lierre and Fading slip into belonged to a former clanmate; he was just curious to see what was going on. Stepping in after the Paladin Commander, he peered over her shoulder at the letter on the ground. "Alice?" He hadn't really known her, but it was odd to hear her name mentioned after all this time. "Oh, I hope she's okay," the serval murmured, his ears angled back slightly. And Arno? He wasn't a problem anymore, so Pierce didn't mind much- not like he had any right to, as he had protected villains himself in the past.

London had known Alice, once. Not all that well, but probably better than anyone still residing in BlizzardClan besides Arty. Of course, that was before the girl had lost her memories, but here, with the tree and the sight of all of those dead flowers, the clouded leopard could feel her heart ache a tad. Something had been lost here. Something that prompted her to enter, after she'd seen Pierce and Fadingmoon do the same. Alice, that was the name that seemed to be floating around, and after seeing those poor flowers, the name did revive some fuzzy memories of the girl that London had once called her friend. "She was always surrounded by flowers." the albino would muse quietly, almost to herself. Yes, that was it. Alice had always worn a smile, and she'd tried so hard to make sure everyone was happy. If only she could have found something within herself to be happy about too.

  • Lierre listened closely as FadingMoon explained a little about what happened to Arno. It would make sense. Alice must have felt like she had to exile herself in order to rid herself of some of the guilt. The other feline was right though, escaping the past usually didn't work. It would simply just linger with her in some form or fashion.

Ivy green hues watched as the other two came in. She didn't know them, but they seemed to know this mysterious character as well. Her frown deepened a little as she watched the male and listened to the albino. It seemed as though she was a good person to them. She took a mental note on the flower concept the other female mentioned. It would explain the dead garden around her old home.

"I hope she is okay too," The feline murmured as she glanced back at the letter. It was such a shame that someone else had to suffer too. Suffer from intense guilt, and be another person depression likely held.
