  • Bramblekit wiped her tears with her front paw before looking back at Pinekit "I'm sure that starclan does everything for a reason." she meowed quietly. She was still leaning against her friend, hoping that some how in this moment of sorrow something good will come of it eventually.

  • Pinekit looked at Bramblekit and nodded "Yeah... Though I don't know how it will effect Dustkit's future" he meowed, with a worried tone, and looked at her, he gently put his head over hers, as he felt comfort from her, he wondered if they would ever be more than friends, though the warmth in his chest, had a feeling, that their friendship, was just the beginning

  • Dustkit could hear the commotion outside but he chose to ignore it. The fresh grief hung like an extra layer of fur, his stomach churning with the urge to vomit from his growing anxiety. His claws were clutched against his head and he could feel blood welling from underneath his paw. It hurt, but his mind was full of sadness and anger at his clan and his brother.

  • (should I make.... A dark forest cat to this situation? Just wondering, cause I don't really know what too roleplay, maybe the 3'd cat I had planned on making, could be a dark forest cat, or something)

  • my bad guys! really dropped the ball here~

"i-it's battail! he's injured really badly out in the woods. come quickly!" the golden tabby was shaking, unaware of her pelt smeared with blood, some her own, some not. "please, you've got to save him! i don't think he's got much longer... follow me!" beepaw shouted before darting back out of camp. battail, i'm coming!

  • Redstripes eyes opened in surprise as he followed the apprentice at a run making sure that he didnt drop any of the herbs he was carrying having a feeling he would need them, the tom watched his paw steps too. all the while thinking to himself that Battail had to be okay and that they wouldnt lose another cat if he could help it.

  • Cloudynose had long fallen silent, heart thudding with every moment Battail was left in his incapable paws. The blood kept coming. He'd never seen so much before. He couldn't do a thing.

  • Juniperpaw had frozen when she heard her fathers name. He was in trouble and it was lifethreatening. She wanted to run after the medicine cat and her fellow apprentice, but the sudden shock and grief had hit her hard and she looked broken, staring down at the ground, ears back and shaking slightly.

  • Redstripe spotted the other three cats together and ran past the apprentice to reach them not even bothering with the unknown cat. "Cloudynose dont be afraid to put pressure" he meowed as he had set the herbs down instantly beginning to mix the herbs he would need to step the bleeding and keep out infection. chewing a poultice he looked at the amount of blood around them and winced *come on battail be okay.* was all he though as he spat out the poultice locating the wound he smeared some in and around it. "Cloudynose help me with the cobwebs to keep the bleeding at bay.... Battail... Battail can you hear me?" he asked as he retrieved the cob webs from the ground where he had put them he picked a couple twigs that had managed to stick to it out and began to wrap it around Battail and the wound as the blood slowed because of the poultice.

  • Redstripe's voice snapped Cloudynose from his trance, and immediately he began fumbling with the webbing as well. Shakily, he did his best to alternate with the medicine cat's work, placing down layers of cobweb where he could. Was he doing it sloppily? Was it going to help? He was so unsure, it hurt all the way through to his marrow. The stickiness of the makeshift bandaging clung at his muzzle as he worked the best he could, vision filming at the edges of his perspective as the shock began to truly set in. But he couldn't allow it to overcome him- His clanmate needed him. I didn't come here to see more cats die. Not like this.

  • There was no response from Battail when Redstripe asked if he could hear him. The only sign that showed he was actually still alive was the slow and weak fall of his chest. His eyes had been closed for a while and he had been still.

  • Darkstone took a hesitant step back from the scene, not sure sticking around was a good idea. The sheer number of cats here was making the odds of survival less and less. Especially with this..... Battail, dying on the ground a few tail-lengths away.

  • Pinekit looked up at Cloudstar, and decided to get up beside Cloudstar, he did what he could, to try and climb up the high rock, it took him a little while, but he finally got there, he sat beside Cloudstar and looked up at her "What's wrong Cloudstar?" he asked her

  • "Redstripe," Mewed the warrior softly, vocal chords quavering before he coughed to continue. "B- He'll be okay...? Battail, he'll be okay, won't he?"

It seemed less likely with every second ticking by, every cobweb he fumbled with a moment too long, letting another pulse of blood escape the dark furred tom. Cloudynose could feel his limbs threatening to stiffen, to stop, and lifting his eyes from the wound didn't seem physically possible. All he could do was plead to the medical aid, searching for some sort of positive answer. "You've... Fixed worse, haven't you..? Battail will be okay?"

  • Redstripe didn't look up from what he was doing he just continued to apply pressure and wrap the wound finally closing it off but some dark red was already showing but now very little was getting out "Lets get him back to camp, itll be easier to keep treating him there." he looked up at the mystery tom "And dont you be going anywhere we'll need all the help we can get to bring him back without jostling him to much get your paws in here and help!" he growled no one ever really seeing this side to him but the tom was tired and had already been dealing with one dead cat tonight he didnt want another of his clan mates to pass.

  • Cloudstar shook her head and glanced at the kit. “It’s nothing. Let’s hope for the best.” She went silent for a moment. “Too much has happened tonight. Let us all head to our nests and recover for what troubles tomorrow will bring us.” Her voice was edged with weariness and Cloudstar knew she wouldn’t be able to sleep until Redstripe came back but she could at least promise her warriors a good nights rest. “I will call Flowercall and Cherrywhisker to address their actions at sun-high.”

  • Cherrywhisker didn't have to be told twice that she was being dismissed. In the same, humble way that Cherrywhisker had slunk up to Cloudstar, she made her way back towards the warriors' den. Albeit, Cherrywhisker was much more hurried on her journey towards the warriors' den than she was away from it. She found her usual nest, close to the outer edge of the den, and circled it a few times before settling in. Cherrywhisker tucked her tail under her chin and shifted her body into a more comfortable position. Silently, she prayed to StarClan for Poppyleaf to have a safe journey to join their ranks and for Battail's safe return.

  • Frozeneye looked to Flowerfall before heading off to the warriors den to sleep, like the rest of the clan almost dragging his paws there he was so tired to calico tom breathed in a breath of fresh air before entering the den finding his nest as he had places new moss and feathers there this morning the tom did one circle before bedding down.

Whitepaw was to down to head to bed as he also waited to see what had happened to his mentor the tom was actually tired but to wired to find out if Battail was okay.
