  • She snarled "You can't fucking put a leash on me! I don't care if you're my mate I won't stand to be coddled over and treated like a breakable fucking piece of glass!" Her sna[ was terrifyingly vicious and defiant. His shot at her capture caused a flinch. She snarled again and stepped towards him challangingly. "I was locked up for six fucking years because of my fucking instincts telling me I was in love with the wrong person. Maybe, had your sorry ass been there maybe I wouldn't have had to spend most of my life as a fucking testing rat. But no. You had to fuck any woman willing to spread her legs. So don't you pull that crap with me Sage." She jabbed a finger at his chest. "I'd tried to escape countless times. The only reason they caught me again was because of that fucking leash and shock collar. I am strong! And I don't fucking care if you don't allow anything I'm going to do what I fucking want. I don't want to sit on a fucking couch for eight months." The woman snapped, baring her canines at him.

  • Sage froze at her jab, jaw dropping slightly before his face twisted in anger once again. "You can not hang that over me." He took a step forward, wanting her to step back from him but knowing her she probably wouldn't. Glaring down at her gnashed his teeth, "I thought I had fucking killed you. Your heart was exposed, chest torn to ribbons! I didn't know you were alive. How dare you throw that in my face." Tail beating against the snow, perturbed. He stormed a few feet away from her, not even desiring to touch her. "Get home. Now." He roared, not wishing to discuss this further. His voice left no room for rebellion, if he had to he'd spar her in attempts to paralyze her.

By now Cato was in range to hear what was happening, his momentum breaking before he he came into view. The air was thick with malice, he was almost afraid to pass into the clearing.

  • The woman bared her own teeth, gnashing them as well as she snarled in his face. "I will throw that in your face! I never told you how I felt about that did I? That you fucked any woman you saw? Yeah. That hurt like a fucking bitch knowing you were trying to replace me with some slut. The demon snapped at him viciously again. His demand rising a snarl and bare of the teeth. She stood defiantly for a moment. Eyes locked with his. Rigid and unmoving. The air was silent. Not even the fetus had been moving as he usually did. Sensing the tension between parents. She licked her lips and turned her head away. She knew for a fact he'd attack if she didn't go. Forcibly take her back.

Nathaira turned her eyes back to Sage. Once again turned to their ghoulish nature, the spines on her tail rissen and her nostrils flaring in attempt to expel her anger through her breathing. She finally spoke. Voice low, "Fuck you Sage. Can't even do a nice fucking thing for my own mate without getting my ass chewed out." She hissed and shook her head. "What ever. I'm leaving." And with that she shoved the box into his chest and left. Bellamy was ignored, both familiars were. She was pissed. Tearing up.

Nathaira wiped viciously at her eyes, she refused to cry. It was stupid to cry over something that she couldn't fix. It was in the past and she'd done it for a good reason, going into town.

As she finally opened the door of the household, Arthur stood and watched with wide brown eyes. "Nathaira! Sage is worried sick-" "Sage can go fuck himself." He stood, absolutely astonished as she leapt up the steps two at a time and down the hall, past Sam and Eliza's room, and into her own.

The door slammed shut, Arthur winced and stood frozen for a while. Licking his lips. "Shit..." The man muttered and ran a hand through his hair. Not good. She was close to birth, and her and Sage had blown up on each other. Again. "The last thing we need...." Arthur groaned and closed his eyes tightly, sighing.

  • Sage flinched back at her venom, his jaw taut. "I'm not proud of what I did, Nathaira. And I was never trying to replace you." He hissed back, having this silent stand off with her. "It had been years! All I knew was I had nothing left, but guilt to drag around with me!" Nostrils flaring he let out a frustrated growl as he slashed at a tree behind him. His predatory gaze burned into her as she huffed out that she was leaving, the scaled tail freely expressing his irrtation.

His ears pinned back as he glared at her, slightly startled with the box to his chest but he paid it no mind until after she was gone. Sage clicked his teeth, signalling Cato to take care of the body before he started heading his way back home, box in hand.

Cato nodded before enlarging himself to swallow the body whole, clothes and all. Licking his lips with that glowing blue tongue of his

Sage's tail whipped behind him as he trudged through the snow before he stopped to rest his back against a tree with an exasperated sigh. Sliding down to sit he studied the box. His eyes narrowed seeing his name addressed on it. Part of him wanted to let go of the anger, but after everything was said and done he couldn't. He cut the tape with his claw, his horns disappearing and some of his scales too, but not all of them. He carefully inspected its contents, unwrapping the kunais from their protective wear. A regretful sigh made him close his eyes. They were beautiful, the Celtic design on the narrow hilt fit perfectly in his fingers.

He let out one last shuddered breath before getting up, placing the blades along his belt and carrying the box with him back to the house. He knew he had to apologize, but he just couldn't be okay not having tabs on her all the time, especially when the orga- "Ah fuck!" The demon touched his neck to remove a tranquilizer. Eyes now wild, he sprung to his feet, the transformation coming on quickly since the drug had not set in effect yet. He evaporated into spores just in time to avoid a second shot hitting the tree where he was once standing. He reformed behind the sniper behind a snowed over bush, his hand reaching around and clawing out his throat with a venomous hiss. His mind was reeling, he didn't have time to take in the full situation that he was once again being hunted, that they had found him. All he saw was red and the need to survive. A third shooter could be heard in the trees from afar, but this time he didn't shoot a tranq or a bullet. Sage caught the device in mid air: it was small, black, round. It looked almost like a lip balm container. That was until it was then activated, opening up speakers, a high pitch ringing in rupturing his ears, bringing him to his knees completely immobilized. "Argh!" He hissed loudly before shrieking out in pain, dropping the device and holding his head almost as if it was going to split in two if he didn't. The hunters moved in from their hiding spots, one coming up behind sage and injecting something behind his shoulder beside his spine, causing him to snarl at the man behind him, but he couldn't move out of sheer pain. The man pulled out a pen device where he pushed a button, activating the device under Sage's skin. A wave of electricity pulsated his nervous system, his body twitching and convulsing as he choked out, eyes wide as purple blood dripped from his nose and mouth.

The team deactivated the "Demon whistle" and stopped the electric impulses, causing Sage's body to shudder and spasm as he glared violently up at the squad. It was then that his body flashed out spores. Everyone immediately covered their faces to prevent inhaling it, some being less lucky and immediately dropping to their knees in a coughing fit, the hallucinations quickly coming in. This new cover and distraction allowed Sage to try to stagger to his feet. He managed a few steps before the device was activated again, causing him to cry out and fall to his hands and knees, his tail rigid as it twitched like the rest of his well toned body. No! I need to get out! They can't take me back there! Sage gasped as he clawed at the dirt, still tasting iron. The shocks stopped, but Sage could barely muster the strength to move. Please, let Nathaira be safe! That was when screams could be heard as a sudden large force mowed down three of the men. Cato Had bursted into the scene, snapping people in half and tearing into them like a vicious beast. The distraction allowed Sage to get to his feet once more, grabbing the man with the remote and slamming him into a tree near by, digging his teeth into his shoulder, venom pouring out. The male cried out before his breathing choked into shallow rasps. Sage snarled in his face, holding it up to face him. Fear was evident in the thirty year old goon, but what happened next made his body tremble. Sage brought his face close, his lips only a hair away from his where he began to suck out his soul. The energy slipping from his body, the overwhelming weakness fading into nothingness. Within seconds the body was nothing but a husk. Sage dropped the body before turning to help Cato with the fight. But then came a formidable opponent: a large raptor, one like Bellamy but larger and darkly colored. It had chains around it and a metal face plate, eyes a deep red, it was obviously turned by the organization to do their bidding. As it popunced on Cato, rolling around in a fury of teeth and claws, Sage felt a grab on his shoulder, swinging him around and slamming his chest against a boulder, causing him to whimper out. Head pounding, body aching, the soul he consumed was the only thing fueling him. Then the sound was turned back on, practically melting his brain, making him hiss out violently, nails digging deep grooves into the rock he was pressed against. And then there was nothing. Just... black.

Once they had Sage bagged up they called their familiar back, Cato successfully slashing off the raptor's protective mask, injecting his venom inside its throat. The beast became sluggish before the whole body began to move less fluid, rigid, stiff. Allowing Cato the upper hand. When they called back the raptor it snapped at Cato, using it's hind legs to sink into his belly before kicking him off of her, his six limbs leaving claw marks along her sides as she peeled him off of her. Now free she darted back with the rest of the team, shrinking down to portable size. Cato flared his nostrils, searching the scene for Sage. "Sage?! Sage!" The vehicles drove out to the main road, soon everything becoming quiet. The basilisk panted, opaque eyes panicked. I have to tell the rest. But just as he was about to dart back he felt something pierce through his scaled armor, immediately making him groggy. The snake whipped his head back to see one man left behind. Jaws unhinged in a horrifying bellowing hiss he snapped the man up by the mid section. He desperately stabbed at Cato's muzzle trying to break free only to have the creature crush his ribs. A few more crushes and he was able to kill the man, swallowing him whole. A wave of wooziness overwhelmed Cato. He staggered back, trying to make his way to the house, but his face and body bled, body shutting down to sleep. The only thing he could think of was to find somewhere safe first. Knowing he couldn't make it to the house he limped to find the spot he had once hibernated in before. His large form slithering underground to digest his catches and sleep off the drug.

[Making it so people think Sage left, at least until they find Cato or the whole messy scene]

(Uuughhhh didn't have time to type it all up. I'll finish it in a few hours

  • AHHHHH SAGE)

Nathaira had her eyes shut tightly, face in a pillow as she whimpered. The sudden blast of a head ache made her jerk, eyes wide. It went away quickly. Her body was tingling. Like needles. She gasped. It didn't hurt insanely, but it made her ache and itch. It was gone as soon as it began. Her heart left pounding wildly in her chest. She nibbled on her lip in utter confusion as to what ever had just happened. Worry for Sage filling her gut. She convinced herself he'd be fine, shifting back to sit, watching out the window. Frowning. Ignoring Arthur as he spoke through the door. She didn't want to talk to anyone right now anyways.

    -----

(Forgot his name omg> I think I named Him Cole....) As Sage was successfully brought in, the lean hunter watched in complete smug amusement. "Where's the bitch?" He looked over to the men, they shook their heads. "She wasn't around. The Raptor had her scent but she left before we could catch her and This one both." Came the reply and Cole nodded slowly. "Alright..."

He shifted in thought and hummed as they put Sage in his respective place. Locking him up to wait for him to wake. "Alright.... She can't be too far off from labor.... We need to bring her in here." He growled and bit his lip. A dark smirk came to his face. "We won't need to go to her boys. Rex is going to come running when she feels how much pain her mate's going through. Force her into labor, then kill them both. We need the kid. They don't matter anymore. We start tomorrow evening. She'll be more active at night. Bound to come faster."

  • (yeah Cole is the big maniacle guy and he is working with someone that started with an L I think)

Sam had sat up in his computer chair when he heard Nathaira storm into the house. Getting up to see her he saw that Arthur was the first to be dejected. "What the hell happened? Where's Sage?" He asked Arthur in the hallway, blue irises dancing in concern. He hadn't seen Nathaira this mad since when they found out about the pregnancy.

"Should I go try to find him and talk to him?" He suggested tentatively.

    ------------

The entire drive out to the building Sage was knocked out cold. It wasn't until he was picked up to be carried to his cell that he stirred awake, horribly groggy. The sedative they gave him made him feel high as a kite, his body completely limp, as of he was buried in sand. Squinting his eyes open a crack he saw the blurred figures dragging him along and the florescent lights of the hall way, the familiar smell of death and chemicals knotting his stomach. I... I can't be here! I thought I was so prepared. I should never have let my guard down! Sage seethed as they threw him onto the cold concrete ground of a cell less comfy than the one he had been in with Salem before. It was like the one he had the first night they had captured him, before he knew what he knew now about the bounty huntress that brought him here.

He had heard the muffled voice of Cole. He knew they weren't going to come to patch him up. They'd rather see him die out slowly anyways, it used less resources and it gave them time for their trap to be set.

Wheezing out he willed his limbs to find strength. He even managed to push himself up, arms wiggling in an unstable manner. Jaw clenched he growled, How could I let this happen?! Please... Nathaira, don't look for me. Don't come here to this place. He let out a quiet whimper, shutting his eyes tightly. She was due any day now and now he wouldn't be there with her to see it happen. He wouldn't be there to see his son, to help her get through the birthing process, she'd be alone and she would have no idea where he was. Clenching his fist he let out a reptilian roar that echoed against the concrete walls. Tail numbly swishing behind him, the best he could do to express his anguish of the shitty situation.

You have to get out. You have to get out by yourself. You managed to help Nathaira, you can do this. Except Eliza and Sam aren't here... It doesn't matter. I have to try.

[Is he and Matt sharing a cell or they neighbors?]

  • Well, They would be sharing, but due to how territorial Matt is, They have him in a neighboring room. Granted it's torn appart, but he's in another room none the less.

  • Nah. Change of Plan. Matt's his buddy.)

Arthur made a worried face. "You remember what happened last time Sammy. They're demons. If they're pushed to the edge they attack people blindly. I Think it's best we wait a little while." Arthur shook his head and turned to look back to where Nathaira had darted.

    -----

Golden eyes watched from the corner of the room. Uncomfortable yes. But it was a huge cell. The crown of horns hit on the concrete in a territorial way, Growlig softly. He wasn't pleased to have a new kid. Though he knew he couldn't just flip his shit and attack them. They'd been forced to come here. Like he had. He didn't stop though as he stalked forward, nose twitching. Realization hit him hard. The man jolted in surprise. Sage.... He narrowed his eyes. An inner battle exploding in his mind. With a groan he rubbed a hand down his face and shook his head. The tail lashing in annoyance before he crouched. Watching Sage, studying the worst of the wounds.

The man huffed and closed his eyes. The second Cole mentioned a child his eyes shot open. The only person they'd be talking about would be Salem.... He hitched a wild breath. She was pregnant.... He winced, knowing that he definately couldn't just let Sage fend for himself.

With a huff he leaned down. "If you hit me, I'll shove my foot so far up your ass you'll see the soles." He growled and linked his arms around Sage's biceps to lift him. Offering to act as a sort of crutch. Though it was a bit complicated, seeing as he was a fucking bean stalk regarding height. Probably ranging at around 6'7" In total. It was crazy to think about his height in his demonic shape. "Don't think I'm doing this for you." The man ground out again.

  • Sam let out a sigh before nodding in understanding. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Will the baby be okay, you think...?"

    ----------

When Matthew's horns scraped against the hard surface, Sage tensed up. He wasn't alone. And the damned drugs had hindered his abilities to detect it. Sage shut his eyes tightly as he mustered up some energy to bring his leg forward as if he were crawling to try to sit himself up with much effort. For a first impression to a potential rival he wasn't off to a good start. He still couldn't tell who it was in his drugged state, but he heard him come close, "I'll fucking tear you apart if you so dare touch me." He snarled before he turned to look at who it was, his entire body seizing up as his eyes snapped wide awake. His tension made his tail quiver, but he became more confused as Matthew helped him up to the second cot.

Not questioning his help, Sage limped along, hating this display of weakness. He eyed Matt wearily with his next growl. It wasn't until he was sat down that he could comprehend the situation, and the fear quickly flashed into anger. "What the fuck are you doing here, Matthew?!" He hissed in a harsh whisper in case any guards were listening in. "I told you to get the hell out of town!" Had his legs been working right he would have stood up to face the beast, tail lashing in a grand gesture of frustration, but he was forced to remain seated, the end of his tail swishing along the floor lazily.

  • He growled at the display Sage tried to put up. Eyes narrowing. "I'm terrified y'twat." The man rumbled and released Sage in annoyance. His eyes narrowed. The seemed to glow. Bright at lanterns. He regarded Sage as if the man across from him were nothing more then an annoying bee. Blinking, He gave a sick laugh. It was raspy, hoarse. He hacked a few times and shook his head, spitting into the toilet. "You really thought I'd listen to the ass crack who killed My sister? Well, I dunno about you Sage. I'm pretty sure that your advice never helped me in the past. Figured you were just being some annoying shit head." The man was beyond pissed. Tail lashing like a cats. He was mad already being in this place. And now, with Sage of all people. The man turned towards the cell doors.

He peeked down the hall, huffing and looking back at Sage. "You knocked Salem up?" His voice held the kind of curiousity it used to. Though much more raspy. Clearing his throat. He'd no idea what was here. What they were using. But it was making him sick. He'd gotten thinner. His eyes, surprisingly, had lost shine. His face hollow. He'd get nose bleeds on regular occasion. He huffed and paced a little. Restless. Naussea setting in. He huffed and closed his eyes. He snarled down the hall at one of the men standing alert.

"Hey! Faggot! Open a fucking window or something!" Came his bark, the men seemed agitated, but hesitantly propped a window open. He wasn't questioned here. Getting him sedated was hard. THey'd lost four men trying to put the collar on him, they settled to leaving him be, though they'd use elephant tranqs on him if he went on his merry blood hunt. He licked his lips, breathing in the breeze softly. Swallowing then looking back at Sage. "You shouldn't try to stand. Last thing I want to deal with is guilt that I killed Salem considering you died. So please. Kick back would you?" The man growled again and leaned on the bars. "Not like we're getting out any time soon. They don't let me out anymore. Not after I got ahold of Lawson for prodding me with one of thos electric.... things. Killed the guy. Got me shot though. They don't let me out anymore. Figures though huh? And hey, this can be karma for what Salem must have had to deal with before she was brought back." He jabbed and closed his eyes so hack up some more of the bile into the toilet with a hiss, wincing.

  • Sage's ears pinned back as he growled in agitation at his dismissive demeanor. Sage knew he wasn't all that threatening and Matt had beat him before, but after all the crap he said to Nathaira he still had not forgave him. He gave a snicker his way, his lip curled in a sneer, "Yeah and look where it got you. You're looking well, Mattie. Tell me, how is prison life suiting you? It fucking sucks doesn't it? I guess I don't have to give you the tour of the place." He growled lowly, hinting that he had been here before, he was starting to get feeling to his arms. His body was shaking in anger being back at this place. Freedom! He had it in his hands! And he was still yanked from it as if they were taking candy from a baby.

He just watched him from narrow eyes as Matt insisted he not start something. He didn't even answer his question to him getting Salem pregnant. When he said he had killed Lawson, Sage's interest skyrocketed. "You killed Lawson?!" He tried to stand up, only to have sit back down, the feeling in his legs still recovering, but at least he could now move his tail freely. He winced as Matt hacked. The sickness reminded him of when Nathaira was forced to be malnourished with cooked meats from livestock. By now Sage figured Matt caught on that he had been here before. "How- when did they even catch you? It's been.. months since we saw you. This is exactly what we were warning you from!" Sage groaned out loudly as he ran his hands through his hair before slashing at the pillow beside him in frustration. "FUCK! She can't come back here!" Now pumped up he managed to stand, using the wall as a support. Glaring over at Matthew he growled his way, "Fuck karma. Nathaira served her time and then some. This little taste of what you've experienced here? Try it for six years!" He hissed venomously, tail lashing. Leaning on his forearms against the wall he hit his fist against the concrete before he rested his forehead against the wall, his muscles quivering. "I got her out... I got her out of this place and now... God damn it!"

  • Mathew snarled at the nickname and spun, spitting acidic saliva, sizzling against the grime of the ground. While the other's may had been paralizing, his burnt like satan's flame, The demonic sense of unholy waters. "You do not call me by that name you Cunt. So help me." The man hissed out and bared his teeth. Sharp, long. He licked his lips, wiping at his nose and grumbling at the nose bleed. "Fuck this..." He growled and ripped a few tissues free of their place. Put there specifically for nose bleeds. He cleaned up his nose then stuffed it. Shaking his head. "What ever." His exclamation about Lawson Made him raise his brows. "Yeah. Tore his head clean off." The man lcked his patching lips and closed his eyes.

Listening to Sage speak and as his question made him look over. "A week or two after you two told me to scram. They used someone as bait. He was basicall a suicide man. I got ahold of him and bit. He'd been wearing Lichen and Wolf Bane on his chest. The second I bit, the toxins dropped and I knew I was in trouble. I could barely breath. They took me down after a while." The man murmured, running a hand near his neck with a huff. Whipping marks and electric wire scars were the tattoos. Streaking over his shoulders and back like seams.

His eyes narrowed as Sage spoke again, nodding. "Seems as so. I could smell her. When I got here. Tried to use me to track you guys down. Shoved anything they could in my face. I couldn't bleach those scents out even if I tried." He grumbled and closed his eyes. "Six years... Jesus...." The man ran a hand through his hair. "Oh God...." He froze in realization. "That's why they brought you in alive. You're the bait..." He hissed out and moved from where he stood. "They know exactly what they're doing..." He hummed. "They'll try starving you first, get you weak. That's what happened with me..." Mathew was against helping the other, though he couldn't help this. "When you're weak they'll get you. Fuck." He had such a sailor's speech. It was habit. "She's close to due. Any fucking thing they do to you could trigger labor...." He knew nearly as much as Arthur when it came to demons. Explaining. Talking to himself. He'd been alone for so long it was only natural. "She'll come to you. Ghoul don't give birth without the father- FUCK." The man shouted and spun. "She'll keep back that child until she knows you're there with her and safe. But we need to get you out of here. The only was we could do that, is by having her come to us. If they think their plan worked, they'll drop their guard. I can attack. And you can get the hell out of here." Mathew spun. "Perfect. But you have to be willing to let her come here. It won't be easy on you, but she has to. It's the only was this can work."

  • The idea of annoying amatt and the horrible death of Lawson would have been great to relish had he not needed to worry about the trap they were setting. Sage recoiled at Matthew's plan with disgust. "She cannot come here, Matthew! They always have their guard up, especially when they're trying to reunite and kill us." Sage spat out venom that was welling up. "Not after we escaped last time, they've seen our hand. The only reason we got out was because we had inside help from the staff." Sage didn't think now was the time to tell Matt that Sam had once been lured into helping this place out and explaining everything with him, Eliza and their escape was too long of a story. "Security will be up higher. Their technology seems to be getting better, and no offense but I don't think we will be in the best condition when the time comes to fight." He said waving his hand at the tissues Matt was sporting.

Sage was now pacing back and forth with a slight limp, tail slashing behind him. "We have to get out before she or anyone comes looking for me. I can't..." His voice quieted at the end, knowing this information would tear into Matt. "I can't lead them to everyone.... If they come to find me they will be playing into these guys' hands." He flicked his eyes over to Matt before hesitantly explaining. "I found Arthur. And Samuel. That's where Salem and I have been staying. But if they know I'm gone..."

    -----------------------

Looking at the clock, Sam nibbled on knuckles worriedly. "Eliza it's been hours. Sage is usually back by now. And I haven't seen Cato at all, you don't think he'd just... Leave? Do you?" He turned to his mate, concern filling those steel blue eyes of his. "I'm going to try to talk to Arthur. I don't want to freak Nathaira out." Getting up from the dining room table where he was doing some paper work he went to go find Arthur.

  • Eliza sat cross legged, stroking the fearful Aster comfortingly. She was restless. Eliza had jsut gotten her to settle down. "I know Loup. But we can't do much mre then wait. Cato's the only one who can really track him and he's not here right now. But he wouldn't leave Nathaira. Demon bonds usually aren't like that. And she's so close to having that baby. He'd never leave her or his kid like this. There's been cases, but it won't happen. Not with what they've been through together. He's probably just blowing off some steam."

    ----

Mathew froze and looked over at Sage with narrowed golden eyes. "Arthur?" It was like the information had ripped him a new one, instantly He began to think about everything. "We need to get out of here. Before Nathaira finds out you've been caught. Panic can push her into labor and she won't go through with that until you're with her. It's kind of like wild animals. She can't have the child if she's alone, demons will come for her, the scent draws us in. She'll be weak and the scent of a new born. Easy meal for anyone. It's rare that the mother can even protect themselves against two demons after child-birth. She won't let Arthur or Sam come close to touching her without you around and she will come to you. We need to get to her before that. But it's going to take longer then we need it to take." The male bit his lip and paced a little, something he did often. It wasn't anything new for the men here.

    ----

Bellamy sniffed around the snow, finally rooting up the snow to uncover Cato, the sight of his wounds made her jolt. Her worry had been correct. Sage had been taken. She'd come across the battle scene, but had been positive in thinking it had only been a hunt site. Now that she'd found Cato she started panicing. I have to tell Nathaira... Her mate's been caught. The raptor spun on her hind legs and bolted towards home panting wildly as she crashed into the home, unable to stop as she ripped the screen door, shaking her head and racing up the stairs, barking at the door like a wild animal.

The door was ripped open and she was met with Nathaira's annoyed face. "What do you want?!" SHe snapped and Bellamy jumped snapping at the air. Sage. It's Sage. Nathaira scoffed.

"And? He decided he's not going to come back?" NO! They caught him! They hurt Cato and took him! Nathaira felt her heart stop. "What?"

She took off down the stairs, as fast as she could anyways. SHe pulled into the living room, screaming for Arthur. "Arthur! Arthur! They have him!" Arthur was up the stairs and in the living room in seonds. "Have who? What happened?" The man looked frantic

"They got Sage. T-They took him. I just left him there and they took him." She was frantic, Arthur moved to grab her before she could bolt. "Hey, Hey. Calm down Salem. You need to relax. You could go into early labor, We'll find him. It's alright-" "No! No! It's no alright! They have him! They're going to kill him! Please Arthur I need to get to him-" "No." The blunt, firm answer made her freeze. The scared look in the man's eyes was missed in her histeria. "Nathaira. I'm not letting you go. I'll get him out." Nathaira instantly started to growl. Arthur froze. He knew waht this meant. "SAM DONT LET HER OUT OF THE HOUSE!"

  • Sage started a low growl which he into a loud frustrated snarl, his tail whipping at the wall, leaving scores behind where the arrowhead and now growing spikes hit. He held his head as he felt the gravity of the situation. Everything was being jeopardize by him being here, everything. "Fucking- Ugh! Alright, here's the plan." He turned to Matt, blood red eyes focused and determined. "Do they still let everyone out to eat in the mess hall? Or have have you out yourself in a rut that they have to come here to feed you? Either way I might be able to make this work..." Unless they're just going to starve you. There's no eating while I'm here.

Sage let out a huff as he ran his hands through his thick black hair. Nathaira if only you could hear me... Please don't come for me. "Christ... I can think of a million ways we could get out of this cell, it's overpowering everyone and breaking through some exit that's the problem. And then they have this damn pill-like device under my skin which I guess serves as my shock collar." Closing his eyes, Sage sighed. "You know Arthur and I even talked about bringing this place down some day... That when they sent their first attempt to kill us that we would be ready... But no, they always seem to have the upper hand..." Clenching his fist he desperately wanted to just kill something, but if he wasn't going to be getting any nourishment he needed to save his strength.

A curious look was sent Matt's way with another question. "Did you ever have a trial yet? I know when they first got me here they were about to set one up for me before Nathaira and I ended up together."

[Trying to think if they're gonna torture them or whatever, or if the boys will end up in a fight or possibilities of their escape]

Sam heard Nathaira rush down the stairs after Bellamy frantically cried. "What the hell?!" Sam quickly grabbed the project he had been working on the past couple of days, stuffed it in his jacket pocket and made his way down to the living room where he saw from afar Nathaira sobbing to Arthur that Sage had been caught. No... Please tell me this isn't true. Not now! But things got so much worse when he saw Salem's body language become hostile. Arthur's yell made his body shoot with adrenaline, the tiny canines of his sharpening somewhat and his nails becoming to a more prominent point, metallic blue eyes flashing in alarm.

Guarding the front door he stood in a ready stance. Although he never was much of a fighter, after the bond with Eliza he had gotten stronger. And with the way things had been so tense around the house he even studied a few holds and moves in case the need called for it. As well as having Sage train with him as often as he could. "I'm sorry sis, but I can't let you go." He said with a slight tremble, knowing they were beyond reasoning with her.

[Are you thinking we keep these post short for interactive purposes?]

  • Mathew looked over at Sage and frowned. "They're trying to keep me a secret. I heard them talking about it but Yeah, I'm allowed out to get food at night." The man spoke softly and looked back out the bars, watching everything. Sage's alarm brought his own. Ready to lunge for anything at any given moment.

    _---

Nathaira spun to dart out the door, though Sam had blocked the door. The woman growled dangerously and took a threatening step forward. "Let me out Sam. I need to get to Sage..." She rumbled, Eliza stood in alarm, barking out at Salem. "You aren't going anywhere! Not like that!" And with that Nathaira lunged. Eliza crying out in surprise and darting out of the way. She snarled. She needed out. She needed Sage. She needed to get him out of there...

  • Sage perked in interest, "Why are they keeping you a secret? Are they planning on using you for something? And no offense dude, but... Your honestly the least discrete person I know." He said with a slight raise of his dark brow.

When the sounds of foot steps approached he snapped his attention to the door. A guard came by with a tray of cooked chunks of beef but most of it was steamed vegetables and some beans. A horribly bland and human meal. Opening a slot he tossed the tray with little care, causing some if the beans to spray to the floor. "Ah dammit." Sage took a step back from the food and glared at the guard. "What the fuck is this? What kind of joke is this?" He snarled, rushing up to the door and grabbing the man's wrist before he could fully retract it from the slot and forced his body close to the door and face to the window. As the man began to cry out for help, Sage slipped his arm through the bars despite the burning pain of the blessed metal against his skin and forced the man's face close to his by grabbing the back of his skull. Now face to face Sage was able to begin the process of sucking his soul out from him. The cries changed to choking and gasping as he felt his life force leave him. The man just barely managed to reach into his pocket to activate the device, disrupting the process and causing Sage to spasm. "Argh!" He snarled out in pain as his grip on the man's wrist contracted to the point that he heard a clean snap of bone breaking. Sage had to let the rest of him go as he stumbled back onto the ground where his muscles constricted.

Other guards now appeared around the one holding his wrist with an angry cry. He finally eased up on the button, allowing Sage to pant out as his body trembled and spasmed. The demon rolled over to his knees and supported himself with his hands. "Dinner and a show!" He sneered, those deadly red eyes flashing towards the guards. "Can't wait to see what's for dessert." His tail whipped behind him side to side mischievously. His whitty comment was then answered by another shock, causing Sage to choke out between gasps and crocodilian growls. Once he as forced into a ball on the ground did they disrupt the electrical current. Sage panted out on the cold concrete floor as his scaled body trembled, his eyes shut tight as his tail quivered, fully decorated in spikes.

Rolling over to his back he groaned out before flashing a look Matt's way. "Okay... I got phase one complete, now how the hell do we get out of here?" He asked breathlessly after all of the men dispersed. His tail lazily curled to his back Jean pocket to reveal a set of keys he had swiped when he had the hold of the guard.

When Nathaira lunged for him, Sam raised his arm defensively. He refused to move even if she tore into him, his only help being the thin metal brace around his wrist. His invention was originally going to be condensed into a watch, but with Nathaira's ever fluctuating moods he needed something more protective. It had a few buttons closer to the under side of the wrist that could generate an electric pulse, release a high pitch frequency, and then a knock it gas that only spurts out in small doses, by he had not yet tested it since he was having difficulty releasing the gas through the respected vent.

He allowed the brace to take mist if her hits if she gave any and relied on it to take any claw attacks. "Nathaira no! This is what they want!" He tried to reason as he tried to grab her and shove her away from the door. "You can't go out there..." He said nervously. "Let Arthur and I get him back for you, please. Don't you trust us?" He knew this wasn't a matter about trust, rather an instinctual need, but he hoped she could admit the words and actually hear them.
