  • okay guys go at it. I vote medieval; anyone willing to give an input will be much apprecaited

  • medieval's good to me man!! what should our plot be??

if anyone wants im hopin to practice dming for my friends i can plan out some basic monsters/plot points for our characters but if no one wants that its ok

  • just gonna say in advance that i'm really illiterate when talking in ooc, but i'm pretty frickin slappin when I comes to actually role playing.

so here's what I've been thinking:

an rp where there are 3 kingdoms (a kingdom cold as balls, a kingdom hot as balls, and a kingdom covered in trees...as balls). roleplayers have the decision to choose which kingdom they're from and each kingdom has specific towns in it. their character can be a born nobleman with a parent or relative as the Lord of one of the 3 kingdoms or kind of a "lesser nobleman" with a relative or parent as the Lead of said town. I have a lot of good ideas so lmk if these sound okay so far.

  • players can hold the positions of: king, queen, prince, princess, knight, lord, lead, whore, slave, or relatives of them. perhaps we can have a "dragon merchant" that no one in particular plays as, but the merchant sells dragons for very very meaningful things and not coin (ex. limbs, a life, virginity, a baby.)

sorry if I seem too vulgar I just thrive on intensity lol

  • hmmm i like that setting BUT there's a problem with that i see w a lot of rps: all the characters will be way separate and they wont be able to interact with each other unless they all have a similar goal. like if they all go on a quest for a big ol shiny thing. or something like that.

dont worry about being vulgar all of my characters arent child friendly anyway

  • yes yes, they could all come from separate kingdoms but they may come from positions lower than noblemen--how do you like the idea of them being captured and drafted into some sort of war for the king? sure, in these times, women wouldn't be drafted but they'd still be taken and treated as handservants and whores unless willing to fight. the people come together to fight against a monster force outside the three kingdoms--perhaps giants, undead, or maybe demons?

  • i like the idea of them fighting against some threat. it could be a great war, but again, women wouldnt be able to fight very well in that. it could also be a sort of private thing? like a dragon that different groups of adventurers are trying to defeat because it threatens the existence of the world? or because it defends some treasure? or maybe there is an overseas threat, and at first they're looking for diplomacy, until war is declared on them. or something. also we dont necessarily need to made the state of women the same as it would be. this shits fantasy, and i love rping female characters, and really if wizards exist why should the same institutions be in place.

  • nah not humans vs dragons man people vs one big ass dragon that is powerful enough to threaten their very existence. there may even be dragons against that dragon. the big dragon is just an antagonist.

  • I was thinking dragons exist, but not necessarily as a threat--more of a weapon or pet, if you will. I do sort of like the idea of fighting against one big dragon

  • maybe all of our character have witches' blood in them and each have some power that they don't know of and are taken by a secret society that wish to use them as weapons to fight this dragon?

  • aw shit i cant believe i stole from a book i have not read goddammit

also yeah other dragons are real but my thought is this one is a threat. and it doesnt even have to be a dragon. it could also be any other sort of large, very scary monster. but my brother fought a big dragon in super mario odessey and i saw it and it looked cool which is why i got em on the brain.

also that sounds COOL. that sounds VERY GOOD. also it means we can incorporate some WITCH BURNING FEAR in there if u dont mind. i like that.

  • S A L E M W I T C H T R I A L 2.0

also i'm more of a practical medieval fan--I like swords and stuff magic isn't really my forte but I do believe each character have a specialty would be rly nifty. like a pyromancer, a blood magi, etc, etc
