  • Damien smirked at her comment before prowling to the next aisle to take down the next man. He flinched as the woman let out a loud sob, the closest man heard it and began to march over. "Shut your fuckin-" he was cut off by surprise to see them escaping through the back. The rough red headed man opened his mouth to shout a warning to the others when a knife went through his back with Damien's hand over his mouth. Unfortunately this man wasn't the only one who heard what was going on. A bright blue eyed male crawled over to Beth, appearing like another victim. "C-can you help me, ma'am? Please! Get me out of here."

Damien glanced over at Beth and the stranger, narrowing his eyes in suspicion at him. But his attention was lost when a bullet shot through his left bicep. "Fuck!"

"Over here, T! He's taken out Jay, Dee, and Beau!" The dusty brown muscular mid twenty year old shouted.

Damien's golden eyes turned from relatively normal to snake eyes. His teeth sharpening, "You fucking idiot." He growled before ripping the knife out of "Beau" to Chuck it at the next opponent's knee cap. He cried out but before T or the last accomplice could do anything police swarmed outside the doors, calling to the assailants on a megaphone. Damien took this chance to advance towards the shooter who was now on the ground holding his leg. Grabbing his shirt he pulled the man up close to his face, flashing his demonic teeth at him, causing the shooter to shudder and stare at him in horror. He began whimpering a "what are you?" A sickening grin grew on Damien's face before he whispered chillingly, "your worst nightmare." With that he slit the man's throat with his claws.

"You are surrounded! Release the hostages and maybe we can strike a deal!"

When the police arrived the stranger by Beth whipped out a gun and aimed at her temple. He gave a smirk at her bleeding wound, "This isn't your lucky day is it sweetheart? Drop the gun or I'll blow your brains out." He glanced back down the aisle to see that another man was dead. A brief second passed when Damien and him locked eyes. Blue eyes urged the gun closer to Beth and barked at the demon, not realizing that was what he was. "Hey! Why don't you come and save your girlfriend!" [If you so desire you can power play with this character or any of the gunmen]

  • Beth was standing guard in front of the deli backdoor cursing as a shout went out where it sounded like one of gunmen saw people getting out. When she heard a voice near her she frowned a little and didn’t respond to his pleas simply motioning towards the door. If he wanted out there was the door, she wasn’t here to coddle anyone.

Her attention was taken over to the commotion that Damien was making. She realized that he seemed to be doing a pretty good job with only some kitchen knives, grudgingly she had to admit she was mildly impressed.

Looking back on it later she most definitely would have decided her biggest mistake was taking her eyes off the guy that was pretending to be a victim. She looked up just in time to catch sight of the gun pointing towards her temple. Rolling her eyes when the guy called her sweetheart she gritted her teeth. “You have no idea.” Beth grumbled still holding her side while holding the gun in the other stubbornly wanting to hold on to it.

Looking down at the gun in her hand she decided it wouldn’t do much good if her brains were all over the wall. Dropping the gun the floor she slid her hand to her side. Ignoring the girlfriend comment she didn’t feel like waiting on a demon to get her out of this.

Her hand on her side went to the knife handle she had brought with her. It was a shame to waste a holy knife on a regular human, but she also wanted to live. So, in one movement she slipped the knife from her belt and rammed the blade hard into his leg.

When he took his attention off her to look at his leg with a knife Now stuck deep in it, she dove down to the floor scrambling to get away wincing with pain when she hit her side on one of shelves.

  • The now crippled man shouted a curse as the knife drove into his leg. "Bitch!" He seethed before he let loose a couple of shots, but she had already scrambled out of the way. Seeing the blood smeared on the shelving he thought he'd have a chance to still go after her.

The last man standing, 'T', barked at him angrily. "Dammit, Vince! The police are going to be swarming in here if you keep letting that damn gun loose!"

"Shut your fucking mouth, T! I've been stabbed! We need to get out of here." Vince growled back. T started making his way to Vince when Damien came up from behind to grab him by the jacket to slam him against some shelves.

T stumbled to get his footing but he recovered quickly enough to elbow Damien in the jaw. The demon growled at the blow as he staggered back, leaving him open for The to try to shoot his thigh, but he wasn't quick enough for Damien's tail to make an appearance and pull his leg out from under him, causing the back of his head to slam down on the shelving behind him, knocking him out cold. Vince saw all of this go down with a look of rage and fear. "What!? How-" his voice cut off as Damien looked back at him with an expression armed with sharpened teeth and elongated canines snarling in his direction. As he marched in to him the police bursted through the door in a flood of blue and black uniforms. The demon whipped his head back at the sea of men coming in before giving Vince a final glare. Damien passed him to find Beth in the other aisle and have her an inpatient frown, hiding his tail and claws and offered her how hand. "We have to get out of here. I don't think you want them finding anything out about your line of work."

  • The huntress found herself having a slight urge to pray, which was something she never thought she would want to do. Hearing the gun shots just on the other side of the aisle divider. She kept her hand pressed to her side, the trauma to the wound reopening it. The blood was easily visible as it soaked through her clothes. Muttering a string of curses she crawled herself a little further down the aisle before leaning her back against one of the shelves. Over the divider she got a look at what was happening.

She frowned as the other robber cams running over with the gunfire. Without much any more weapons on her she was a sitting duck. Hearing the hard thud of the guy’s head with Damien throwing him against the shelves she sighed as several things came tumbling down on to her. She shifted slowly trying to prepare herself to get up and start moving before.. Jumping as the door were pushed open and cops came flooding in Beth started to look around for a way to get out quick.

Catching sight of the demon sighed reluctantly taking his hand and using it to hoist herself up. Breathing a sharp breath she frowned slightly at him saying ‘we’. They had been trying to kill each other not too long ago. Shaking her head she kept herself low. “Alright let’s hurry before I leave a blood trail.” She muttered motioning to the wound on her side before she started to slink away from the front doors all the cops had swarmed in from.

  • Taking her through the back way he snuck her out. The back of the deli led to an allyway, wide enough for supply trucks to dock. Unfortunately it meant it was too open to hide anywhere. As they limped away, almost at the end that opened up to a courtyard he heard the door open once again to see Vince rushing out after them. Damien cursed under his breath as the man shouted at them.

"I'm not letting you get away! You... You fucking monster! I don't know what the hell you are but you cost me my heist!" Gun in hand he shot at them.

"Fucking hell?!" Damien snapped as a bullet hit the wall of the allyway by his shoulder. The limp Beth gave him was working in their favor. Taking off his jacket once they were on a sidewalk that lined the courtyard he gave it to her to hide or help stop the bleeding. Grumbling to himself he didn't know why he was even helping her, but they were in this together. Rather have one lunatic chasing after him than both of them. Besides I might be able to use her to my advantage if the rest of her team catches up. As of now, however, he would be needing to take care of her so she doesn't slow him down.

"Ugh you're real useless in this state, you know that?" He growled bitterly before leading them to a shop doorway that was caved in. They were able to hide on steps to the door to get the man off their tail. Vince seemed to give up on pursuit and instead focused on slipping out of sight before the rest of the cops came running out to find him. But it was too late, he was lost in the masses of people starting their days and the cumulating traffic of cars zooming by.

Damien let out a huff of relief before turning to Beth. He glared at her familiar wound before speaking annoyed, "You still haven't gotten that thing taken care of? Jesus, Beth I'd imagine your organization would have all the Hodge-podge remedies for all things demonic." Twitching his brow he scanned the crowd outside of ignorant people. "Hell, I could fix you up right now." Glancing back at her with the corner of his eye he specified, "I could."

  • Any other time she probably would have no trouble keeping up with the demon, but as is she had to struggle to keep up with him as they hurried to get out the door. She focused on looking straight ahead and getting out of there as quick as possible, having to ignore the fact that she was having to begrudgingly accept help from a demon at this point. Whipping her head around at the shouting and the sound of gunfire she moved as quickly as she could trying her best to ignore the searing pain in her side. “Damn it!” She hissed hearing a bullet whiz right past her ear.

Once they made it to the end of the alley and came into the open street she narrowed her eyes seeing movement out of the corner of her eyes. Beth didn’t object to him putting his coat on her, but she did keep her eyes narrowed as they walked, her hand not leaving her side. Gritting her teeth she shot him a glare before ducking into the doorway. “Oh really? No I had no idea a giant gash was going to slow me down.” She snapped crossing her arms over her chest ignoring her hand now smeared red. She leaned back against one of the walls looking out as cops came running out too little too late.

Tightening her jaw she continued to glare at him not liking the feeling of being lectured by the thing that had given her this thing in the first place. “It was doing just fine until I got stuck in a hostage situation.” She huffed slumping further back against the wall. Rolling her eyes she looked out briefly to the crowd as well. It just looked like a pretty typical robbery to any civilian luckily. “I wouldn’t expect you to strain yourself.” Letting out a sharp breath she closed her eyes waiting till some of the pain went away so maybe she could actually hobble out of this situation.

  • Damien eyed her as she expressed her bitterness. He brought his hand up to his wound on his bicep from the gunshot before. It had already stopped bleeding and was making a quick recovery. Realizing he didn't get any of the meats he originally was seeking for he gave a low growl. His mediocre, civilized hunt was disrupted by a bunch of idiots. His eyes flashed towards Beth, her blood soaked scent gave him a most dark idea. But he couldn't kill her here and now...

Eyeing her wound once more he sighed, "Come on, I'll patch you up. Your pathetic state is rather disappointing." He offered her his hand once more, his face calm, serious. He knew the risk of leading her to his hideout, however, but it wasn't like they weren't tracking him already. Besides, the gain he could get from this would help him in the long run. "Unless you'd rather just sit here and bleed out to death. Or die of infection." He shrugged at the two options. He knew she'd never trust him to just agree, after all what did he have to gain from helping her? Or at least, what incentive would he have that wasn't malicious. "And maybe as a thank you for saving your ass twice you can do me a favor in return." He said with huff and a squint of his eyes.

  • Hearing his slight growl she narrowed her eyes meeting his gaze. Beth was of course cursing the fact that she had used her last knife on a mortal instead of saving it for the demon she had come here to hunt in the first place. She pressed her back against the wall and got ready to bolt if he made any move to try and take her out. Yes she was injured, but she also wasn't planning on dying today either. Her eyes flickered towards his hand as it was brought out towards her. Unlike earlier though she was very ready to simply bat it away and tell him to go back to hell, but she bit her tongue just in time since there wasn't really any reason for him not just turn around and kill her. "It's rather inconvenient for both of us." She muttered crossing her arms squarely over her chest. Despite the fact her smart mouth was probably going to be what got her killed she couldn't do much about it. It had a mind of its own.

Beth's mouth formed into a thin line when he stated the fact that she would most likely bleed to death before she could get back and it wasn't as if she could go to a hospital without raising alarm. "Fine." She growled as she outstretched her hand towards his a look of annoyance and discomfort at having to put any amount of trust into him. She paused though as he suggested she could do him a favor in return for him saving her life. "If I survive today we'll talk it over." Beth muttered through gritted teeth.

  • A smirk played on his face in response to her disgust. "It's not like you're making a deal with the devil himself. Who knows, I might grow on you." Damien delivered a playful wink before helping her to her feet. The smell of blood flooding his senses made his tail curl tightly around his torso to prevent him from going Savage.

As they walked down the street he raised a brow at Beth. "So what made you go into such a dangerous profession? Usually if someone wants to be a hero they become a firefighter or something." He joked, fully aware it would earn him being flipped off or something similar from her end.

As they walked he asked in a more serious note, "Now if I'm going to be of any use you need holy water. I'd imagine a seasoned hunter such as yourself carries a supply with you?"

    [Rushed, sorry]

  • "I doubt it." She muttered as she was hoisted to her feet sighing as she felt the blood running slowly down her side. She kept a close eye on him as they began walking. Two things she could be certain of was that he probably still hadn't gotten his full power back and the blood draining from her side made her an easy target. She rolled her eyes at his joking not finding it entertaining in the slightest. Instead she shot him a cold glare in return. "If I wanted to be a hero I would do a job that I got recognition instead of having to put up with things like this." She motioned to her wound before looking towards the demon not really answering his question in anyway.

"Of course I do." On the more serious note she took a small vile from on her belt. She was reluctant to give up the last line of defense she possibly could use. Still the slight limp in her step made her think that she also would probably bleed out without giving up her holy water. Giving a reluctant sigh she realized she had no idea where they were even going. She frowned looking around closely to see if she could spot any meaningful landmarks to her.

  • Walking down the street the small motel came into view. Across the street was a pawn shop titled Brandon's Stuff and Goods, shop that had been established for a few years now. There had been gossip that many dark artifacts resided there. It was one of the reasons Damien chose that motel as a safe home because there was access to certain supernatural objects nearby. That and the owner was a personal friend and dealer of his. He would stop there now if he had the time, but Beth was bleeding out and he wasn't sure if he wanted to reveal that much information about himself to her.

Taking the holy water with care he noticed her hesitation. "We're almost there. It's just across the street from the town pawn shop." Passing a few of the other convenience stores along the way he could see the motel coming up. Once they made it to the doors he saw Gabriel tending to the counter. The employee looked at them surprised, his eyes going back and forth from Beth to the demon. Opening his mouth to ask Damien signaled behind Beth for him to not reveal anything about their ties. Gabriel closed his mouth again before clearing his throat and shuffling some papers around.

"Welcome to The Hound Motel. If you need anything just ask or dial 1 on your room phone." He nodded to them as Damien took Beth to his room.

Opening the door he silently hoped Gri didn't get out or would give him trouble for bringing the huntress here. "Hey, Gri we have a visitor." Pulling the holy water vile out of his pocket he gestured towards the bed to Beth. "Take a seat, this will only take a moment." Walking out of sight to the bathroom he made sure Beth wasn't able to see him around the corner before he pulled out a baggie from under the sink. Inside it was a small sample tube of black powder, gauze, and a small bottle with a dropper filled with a shimmering clear liquid. Walking back he placed the makeshift kit down on the side of the bed she didn't occupy. "But before we get started... You're going to have to agree to some terms of mine."

  • Following him into the motel she didn't bother to hide the annoyance on her face even to the guy behind the desk. When his eyes flickered between both of them she shot a glance over her shoulder she wasn't fast enough to catch the signal the demon gave. Still she seemed suspicious of both of them. She didn't bother to call anyone out though merely giving a curt nod to the man behind the desk before slowly following him to the room.

When the door opened Gri was seated up on the bed. It's eyes narrowed when Damien announced he wasn't alone. The hackles along its spin room up as it caught sight of just who came hobbling through the door after him. It growled after a moment before moving to stand on the far corner of the bed. I hope you have a good plan... The creature growled mentally to the demon as Beth gave Gri a glare as she sat down on the bed.

"And what would those terms be?" She narrowed her eyes clearly loosing patience. Pulling her hand away from the wound as it was stained bright red. Considering the fact she was unfortunately fairly desperate at this point she was in a position that she would either most likely have to agree of would bleed out, which ever happened first really.

  • As they passed Gabriel gulped at Beth's cold aura. Awe man I don't know what the hell you're doing, Damien but I don't need to deal with this shit so early in the day.

    ---------

Damien gestured at Gri to calm down. "Don't worry, Gri. She's not a threat right now." Bringing his attention back to the bleeding woman the corners of his mouth went taut with seriousness. Pulling up the pant leg he revealed the tracking/shocking device. "I want you to get this off of me. And no tricky nonsense where you send any signals to head quarters, you understand?" Letting go of the pants' slack he looked down at her, his golden eyes dark with a purpose. "That's the deal if you want me to save your life."

Picking up the holy water once again he opened the cap, careful not to spill any on himself. Building up some saliva he spat in the vile before capping it to mix it well. The two clear liquids reacted to become a deep purple in seconds. Holding up the vile in the light he studied it. "This... Is what will stop any infection from the demon blood. Hair of the dog as they say." He grinned at her, knowing she wouldn't find it humorous. "As for horn powder and this beauty.." he said referring to the dropper of clear liquid, "it will stop the bleeding and allow quick regeneration. Well quick for a human. I imagine your organization can't get these puppies just anywhere. Unicorn tears." Picking up the rest of the contents he raised his brow at her. "So what do you say?"

  • Gri perked up when the scent of her blood came to its nose. She is more of an annoyance.. It narrowed its dark eyes before slipping off the bed. Beth kept her attention Damien when he pulled up his pant leg to display the tracker that was still stuck around his ankle. The huntress already wasn't terribly keen on the idea before he laid out he conditions. If the higher ups found out that she had taken off the tracker she was going to at the very least lose her job which she had worked like hell to get in the first place. Her mouth was drawn into a thin line already knowing she was going to have to agree to it. Her blue eyes met his not giving confirmation either way.

She still continued to watch him her face scrunching up in disgust when he spit into the vile of holy water. She gave rather loud sigh at his cheeky humor. "How does anyone find you tolerable?" Beth asked rather flatly before he pulled out the small dropper that she squinted her eyes trying to get a better look of what was in it. She corked a brow with the explanation that he had gotten his hands on rare unicorn tears. "Impressive." As much as she hated to admit it, it was a tiny bit of an impressive feat. After a long moment she nodded her head. "I guess I'll agree. I don't really have many choices now do I?"

  • Ignoring her grumble of annoyance he perked at how quick she was to agree. "Really? I was expecting some form of protest. But quick to the point, I like it!" He took up a chair that was across the room at a tiny dark wooden table and placed it in front of her. He also grabbed a couple of wash cloths, one being soaked in warm water and the other saved for applying the solution. He knew she may not hold out long, he wondered if he should treat her first in case she were to black out. But then he'd lose his leverage. Hmm... Give a little to get a little. He thought. "I'll give you the antibiotic now, but you're going to have to earn the second part." Sitting down on the chair he looked over at Gri. "Hey Gri, could you grab me a bottle water out of the mini fridge for me, mate? Can't have her passing out on us yet."

Turning his attention back to Beth he nodded to her shirt. "I'll need to remove the bandages first to apply it." He said this with calm seriousness, his joking persona put aside for now. He had to bite his tongue to resist the tempting smell of blood, even if it was tainted with infection. The last thing he needed was this girl to go back on trusting him at all. He had to stop himself from taunting the option of ditching her shirt entirely, knowing she would for sure leave him to rot with the anklet if he were to make any sexual advances.

  • Beth continued to watch him as he sat himself down on a chair in front of her. She would rather have protested then roll over and accept his conditions like he wanted, but really she was running out of time before she blacked out and she could tell it. She gave a short nod her eyes still narrowed to slits. "I get it." She grumbled having to close her eyes for a second as a wave of nausea came over her. Gritting her teeth she did the best she could to let it pass before opening her blue eyes to look at him again. The little creature poked its head out hearing its name being called. It nodded its head as the door of the mini fridge slowly pulled itself open before a bottle of water went slowly sliding through the air. Before landing easily on the bed beside Beth.

The huntress gave the creature a strange look as it simply popped its head back down and disappeared from sight. Turning back to him as he nodded to her shirt she sighed shrugging off the jacket wincing as she started to move again. Still, she started to pull her shirt off having to pull it away from the bloody wound. She rolled up her shirt just far enough for him to get to the wound and bandages, but was watching him carefully making it clear if he did anything he thought would be funny she was most likely going to call off her end of the deal. "If we're lucky maybe we'll never have to cross paths after this again." She shrugged as she held up her rolled up shirt. She wouldn't mind not having to deal with him and his antics anymore to be sure, especially since he had done nothing, but make her life harder since they're first encounter.

  • Leaning in he eyed the wound before wiping it clean with the damp rag. "I second that." He said to her quip about never seeing each other again. Once the gash was cleaned off he got the purple solution and poured it onto her wound; using the clean cloth to trap the liquid there and prevent it from pouring down to her hip. He held the towel there on her side before looking up at her with his dazzling golden eyes. The sensation that should come from this would be a chilled soothing feeling. It would aide in the pain as well as dissolve any illnesses that came from the infection completely within an hour. "Alright, hold that there for about another couple of minutes."

He waited for her hand to replace his on the cloth before he brought out the baggie to get the sample bottle out of black powder. Seeing how pathetic Beth seemed to be now made him give a sigh. He didn't want to give her the rest of the treatment yet but she was still bleeding. Not saying a word he opened the cap to the powder before unscrewing the dripper to apply three drops into the powder. Carefully putting the unicorn tears away in his pocket he glanced at the window outside that showed the street on the west side of the motel.

He hoped that they weren't close enough to find his location so soon. Using his index finger he mixed up the powder and tears to make a thick black paste. "Move the cloth." He instructed, a tinge of annoyance and reluctance backing it up. Using two fingers he scooped up some of the paste and rubbed it along the wound until it was completely caked over. He had just enough of the stuff to finish the job. Using the wet rag he wiped off his fingers of the paste to grab some gauze pads and medical wrap. Without saying a word he pressed the pad down on the wound and wound the medical wrap around her waist. "There." He said finally as he tucked the end of the wrap under some layers and pinning it in place. "Now it's your turn." He said curtly and propped his leg on the bed to reveal the device.

  • She was watching his every move. Most likely she probably expected him to somehow poison her or something similar even if it wouldn't do him any good to do so. Still, she didn't object when he started to put the purple solution on the wound. She had gotten something similar to the purple solution before when she got into a particularly grueling fight with a demon. She put a bit at ease, but was still very visibly tense. Slipping her hand over cloth she held it in place. After the couple of minutes she pulled back the damp bath cloth back.

She did seem slightly confused about the fact that he was continuing to help her even though that wasn't part of the deal. Of course the huntress wasn't stupid enough to open her mouth in protest since she didn't know how much longer she would keep bleed otherwise. When the wound was bandaged back up she gave a slight sigh of relief already feeling it starting to help. When he put his leg up on the bed she drew in a sigh. The reluctance was clear on her face before she put both of her hands on the anklet that had a small box present on it. "Just so you know it might shock you a little when it comes off." She explained rather mildly as she slipped her finger on to the small oval in the center of it.

A red light appeared as it read her fingerprint. When the red light disappeared a panel opened. There was a small key pad on it. She tapped the code and hoped it was the correct one. Realistically she could have incapacitated him like they had done earlier if she put in a certain code especially since she didn't need him for the cure anymore. Still, as she typed in the code her fingers hesitated before she hit the final key. The anklet buzzed for a moment in protest before it sparked. It then fell away into two pieces. She slowly bent down picking them up. "Alright it's done."

  • Damien watched her carefully as she handled the anklet. When she warned it might shock he visibly tensed, but said nothing. His cold expression jumped with interest when the key pad popped out like a disk. When she hesitated his eyes shot right back to her suspiciously, his jaw taut. But when he felt the shock shoot up his body his tail lashed out. Seeing the anklet apart in two pieces his breathing came out as a scoff. I'm free! A grin made itself known as he stood up, moving his leg away from the awful thing.

He could feel the rush of it all soaring in him, making his tail curl devilishly. Looking back at Beth his eyes narrowed but the mischievous smile remained. Lunging forward he went to grab the wrist that held the anklet and the other hand went to grab her neck just below her jaw [Reeeeeallly sorry for power play, if you don't agree with it you can have her jump back or punch him with her other hand] to hold her face close to his. With a maniacal chuckle he whispered. "Thanks for the freedom, babe. If you ever get an itch to find me again just call." With that he moved in to kiss her lips forcefully , a bit of his fangs nicking her bottom lip to leave a mark that he or she could use to summon him.

With that he let her go before grabbing the backpack and canning for Gri to come along. He could tell that the rest of the team was closing in on their location

  • As he moved away she let her attention from him slip down the anklet. It was in her mind the end of it. All that was left to do was get out of here and find the rest of the hunters out of the prowl. She visibly tensed when she saw his tail curl, so her eyes snapped up to meet his. She was too little to late though as his hand took hold of her wrist. She sharply yanked back trying to get her wrist free her eyes narrowed. The huntress would have likely been able to get free if she had been on her feet instead of sitting back on the bed. When his other hand went to grip her neck, her free hand went to his chest using her arm to try to keep him back. The chuckle that sounded off in her ear made the blood in her veins turn to ice. Still she kept the stubborn anger on her face. "Not in your dreams-" She was abruptly cut off as he pushed himself on her. The slight pain that followed from his fangs nicking her bottom lip made her growl under her breath when he finally let her go. Even though she felt that were should be blood coming from the opening on her lip none came. Beth didn't dwell on it long dropping the anklet and taking a step closer narrowing her eyes. Despite her embarrassment at getting tripped up again by this infuriating demon she did her best to cover it with anger. She balled up a fist and brought it hard towards his chest before walking past him to the door."As tempting as it is I don't think I'll be using this ever." Her voice was relatively collected although the venom hiding underneath was bleeding into every word before she opened the door and made her way out having a much easier time now that he had patched up her side.

The small creature looked up at Damien for a moment. Things got very interesting... Gri's mouth split open in a grin the wicked teeth hidden underneath now more easily seen. Without another word it hopped into the backpack growling as it could be heard shuffling things around trying to move aside all the human's junk.
