Hearing her voice he flinched and reared his head to her. "You-! Uh?" He was taken off guard by her attire. Shaking off the thought there were more important things at hand. "Where have you taken me?!" Ignoring her warning he removed the last of the IVs and forced himself to stand up. The fur tipped tail lashed behind him in clear agitation. "I will kill you!" He made his way to her but had to stop to lean on the bed for support. Dammit! I haven't fully recovered yet.

The woman was not happy to be here in the first place. She had other plans, but the higher ups had insisted that she come back. She doubted she should really be the one to talk to him, but she was here anyway. “Where I work. Apparently someone thinks you could be useful somehow.” She didn’t seem that convinced herself sighing when he stood up and started lurching towards her. She took two steps back back so she was a decent distance away. “And then you’ll get yourself killed or another hunter will just replace me.” She said as a matter of fact. Killing her wouldn’t do him any good.
-
"Useful?" He grunted out the question. His scowl melted into amusement as he let out a scoff, "as if I'd work for you! Or whatever the hell organization this is." His tail whipped beside him as his claws dug into the bed. Oh how badly he wanted to just rip her smug head off but he wasn't in any condition to even attempt a scratch at her. His body was healing significantly but he suspected they pumped him with sedatives while he was out to keep him hindered enough to be considered docile.
"What is it you plan on doing with me?" Giving up on wasting strength he finally sat down on the bed with his arms resting on his knees as he leaned forward. The posture looked defeated but he was still ready to bite out at anyone who came near enough. "Take me to a dance?" He smirked, referring to her elegant black dress.
-
The huntress leaned back against the nearby wall shrugging as she studied her nails. "Oh well, they'll probably just dispose of you then or just let you rot. Doesn't matter in the slightest to me." The woman made it clear she would no sleep over what happened to him. She had thought it was ridiculous to even try in the first place. Now her boss was going to have to figure that one out the hard way. She watched him seem to give up a little and just sit down since it was easier.
Looking down at her dress she laughed softly shaking her head. "Unfortunately nothing that fun. Right now you are basically a guinea pig. Samples and such used for research and to test out weaponry. At least that's the bullshit answer my bosses gave me until they decide to share what they really think you would be good for." She said before sighing as she could hear a voice in her ear denying him being used for anything else and a few other things she didn't care to hear. Slipping the ear piece from her ear she shook her head for a moment looking down at the small device in her hands. This whole thing was really starting to get on her nerves. "Probably want to see if you would be compatible for 'rehabilitation'." She added just to further annoy the voice.
-
His body stiffened when she said he'd be used for experimentation. He shot her a glare, waiting to hear the real reason he was brought here. Rehabilitation? His ear twitched before he broke out in a fit of laughter. "What is this Demon Anonymous?" Laughing harder made him wince as his body ached. But he couldn't hold down the humor he found in it all. "You don't seem to think that's possible. There's something I can agree with you on." His tail danced by his ankles tauntingly. "I bet if you really saw me as the threat I really am you'd kill me right now, am I wrong? Or would I have to beat you and make you beg for your life first?" The canines in his smile extended as he tried to agitate her. He'd rather be killed here and now than to be a lab rat for them. "I don't know who decides these things but if he thinks thisb 'program' of his is going to take off then he's as daft as a half brained sloth."
-
She shrugged slightly not seeing the humor in it, mostly because she had to help try and make the stupid idea work. The huntress huffed softly stuffing the ear piece in her pocket. “I don’t want to agree with you on anything.” Crossing her arms over her chest she clearly wasn’t happy about the whole situation. Of course she wanted him dead, hell she had nearly done it herself once and it wouldn’t take much to do it again. She only gave a short humorless laugh. “The body count shows me all I need to know. I would love to stab you right through the heart right now if that was an option.” She said through a forced smile and gritted teeth. This was absolutely infuriating for her. She didn’t understand the point of sticking her in here. “He’s a quack that thinks he can change the world. You’re probably hopeless either way.”
-
Seeing her annoyance grow made him smile devilishly. "Then why not disobey orders? One quick second, should an accident arises?" His horns began growing out as his fangs increased in length. The tip of his tail became decorated with sharp scales. The transformation was taxing, but it was All for show. He wanted to antagonize her into attacking him, and hopefully killing him... Or maybe make a scene to have someone open the cell doors so he could try to escape. Standing up slowly he gave her a crazed look, "How's your cut?" He asked wickedly, referring to when the blood coated kunai left an open wound from their previous fight. "I will make that feel like a mosquito bite compared to what I'm going to do to you..." He took a step towards her. "You have nothing to defend yourself with now..." He chuckled. His body was still weakened but he could feel his regenerative abilities backing him up. The sedatives would make him slow but at least he'd be in less pain.
-
The huntress knew he was baiting her probably hoping she would kill him or something, that still didn’t mean it wasn’t working on her still. Tightening her jaw she tried to get herself to calm down and not just slit his throat right here. Rolling her eyes she shook her head at the thought. “Believe me I’m very tempted.” She said as she looked him over for several moments as he transformed. “Don’t hurt yourself demon.” Shifting she shrugged as he asked about her side. Of course it still stung and she had to take medication for a few days to keep the demon blood from festering her wound. “I’m sure I’d find a way to kill you if I had to.” Of course since she was wearing a dress she was without anywhere to keep her knives she normally had on her. It did only irritate her more to be reminded to that fact. “Let’s see if you are anything besides talk then.” Beth challenged with a thin smile. “Because so far you aren’t living up to it.” Twirling her blonde hair between her fingers she didn’t move away as he came closer she wanted to see how far he would get at this little game they seemed to be playing.
-
Snarling in reply, Damien lunged at her, straining to hide any form of weakness in his part. Swiping at her neck with his extended claws. Not aware that they had placed a shock device at his ankle. The small light glowed green and his attack faltered with powerful spasms of electricity running through his body. Growling out defiantly he tried to fight through the pain, but the anklet just upped it's wattage. It wasn't until he laid their defeated that the current stopped. "That was cheap..." He groaned through a clenched jaw as his body continued to jolt in contractions. "Fine!... You..... Win.." he got out as he glared at her with hate filled eyes. "You got me where you want me... What's next?"
-
The huntress has been leaned against a wall so she was forced to move to the side and duck when he came at with his claws swinging. She was glad she ducked since his claws sliced very close to where her neck had been moment before. She watched without much real emotion as the demon suddenly went down with the electricity coursing through him. She would possibly feel bad for him had he not just tried to murder her. When the light faded she smiled sweetly down at him. “Says the demon who just tried to slit my throat.” She grumbled and looked towards the door. “Well since they still haven’t given any go aheads it looks like you’re still a Guinea Pig.” She pointed out with a slight shrug. “You helped us test out the new prototype in your ankle.” She waved her hand at him and picked up the ear piece she had stowed away. She rubbed her temple as she listened to the person on the other line. “Really? Can I just...no fine..I hate you.” She rumbled to however was on the other line. She turned her blue eyes to the demon. “Looks like I’m the one in charge of you, great.” She sighed not wanting to have anything to do with him and now she had to basically babysit him. “Got a name or should I just keep calling you demon?” Even when she was being “friendly” she came off as incredibly snarky. Probably the reason
-
"You're kidding right?" He growled. "The real torture is having to be near you any longer." He huffed. Pulling himself up and leaning on the wall he groaned out his name, "Damien..." He pulled up his pant leg to study the device locked on his ankle. His expression was less than joyful. "What do they call you here? The ice queen? You cold hearted bitch..." He grumbled the last part. Of course he couldn't blame only her, but his irrationality was the only thing available to him right now. Had it been a different circumstance and they were out at a club he'd probably be charmed by her indifference... He'll, he'd probably pursue her just for the chase, playing hard to get was always his taste... And boy did it taste so good when he managed to break them.
-
The huntress shook her head as she looked down at her watch. Well it looked like she had missed her plans for the evening. “Believe me this is like going through the seven levels of hell being stuck here with you.” She sighed softly nodding slightly to his name. Well it was a start she guessed. “Beth, but yeah cold hearted bitch is a close second.” She seemed to even treat her fellow hunters the same way she treated the demon. Rolling her curls in her fingers she tried to see any good in this situation...couldn’t find one yet. “We’re going to start the “fun” tomorrow.” Beth said after a moment just repeating what the voice in the earpiece told her.
-
"You must make a lot of friends." He said dryly. Stretching his neck to a pop he sighed in relief. Looking up at her with shadowed eyes he taunted once more, "I hope you'll be there in similar attire." His eyebrows jumped mischievously as he referred to her gown. "You weren't meeting a suitor tonight were you? I may have saved him from a lifetime commitment to a cold hearted wench." Flicking his tail he said in a more serious note, "Do I even get a trial?"
A sound outside brought his focus to the door. One of the most aggressive prisoners broke loose. The beast was the size of a bison; a large hunch with a face full of teeth and multiple tongues strung out of its jaws. The heavy set creature knocked enemies away with its three toed claws and a thick tail that served as a club. Its skin was an earthy brown and greens, eyes too small to be seen at first glance. Damien stood up to go hear what was happening outside when suddenly the beast busted through the wall with its tail as it swung around to snarl at a couple of hunters with tranquilizer guns. The blast made Damien fall back onto the bed. He was instantly alert now, all the pain inside him was exchanged by surprise and confusion. Seeing the wall gaping open he knew this was a perfect time to escape. Without any hesitation he ran towards the brute, sliding underneath it as it stomped angrily. The creature made a wall between him and the other hunters down the hall. Looking back at Beth he winked before running down the hall, his tail trailing behind him in the air.
-
The woman shifted seeming to be quite uncomfortable with him commenting on her attire. She took note to never wear a dress on her days off in case she ended up in a situation like this. Beth didn't really have much time before the noises came from outside. Hearing the chatter over the earpiece she muttered under her breath. She could hear the panic in the voices of the hunters that were taking on the aggressive beast. This is why she hated keeping these things alive. If they just killed them to begin with none of the current situation would be happening. She was forced to retreat as the solid wall came crashing down. Coughing loudly as dust was thrown up making it harder to see. Still, it was hard to miss the demon making a run for it.
A string of curses that would have made a sailor blush left her lips. She was not exactly in any shape to give chase. She was wearing heels and a dress, not to mention the massive wound on her side. "Shut the place down. We've got a demon running." She called into the ear piece as she forced to go in pursuit. The moment the creature's tail went up to strike at the hunters she slipped under it. Leaving the other hunters she couldn't really help much anyway. Ahead as she watched the demon sprinting she heard blaring sirens and heavy steel doors began cutting off the different access ways. Beth flung off her stupid shoes and ran after him ignoring the pain from her side as she did so.
-
[THANK THE LORD IT SAVED IT]
Damien heard her clacking behind him, looking back at her he grinned before turning right around a corner. The sirens blared in his sensitive ears, but he wasn't going to stop now. Heavy metal doors screeched down on top of an exits and doorways. He kept in mind any windows or vents that could be accessed. Making a left turn he saw what looked like a door that led to a field. Probably training grounds or "recess" for the prisoners. The gate was halfway closed when he slammed his shoulder into the door like a football player tackling down an opponent. The force of his strength and momentum almost ripped the door from it's hinges. Damien stumbled onto the mowed grass, tumbling down hill away from the building.
Finally picking himself up he saw that the outdoors was fenced off with barbed wire, electricity and even watch towers. The watch towers. He thought decisively. That was where he could make the most damage. Knowing they were probably pointing guns at him along the way, the demon made a beeline to the nearest watch tower, fully prepared to face any guards that would stand in his way. The door was secured with a passcode and key card entry.
"Won't make it easy for me, will you?" Nevertheless he leaped and began climbing the stone and brick wall. His claws serving almost like grappling hooks. Revealing another ability of his he began transforming, not to his demonesque appearance, but into that of a lizard. His joints cracked and popped as the limbs changed to match the anatomy of a gecko. His size remained the same but the bone and facial structure was altered. The golden eyes were still catlike, but his jaws were pulled forward, his nose changed into two nostrils on either side of his muzzle. Skin was replaced with dark grey and black scales that reflected gold when the light Hit it right. This form made it easier to scale up the wall land evade bullets quickly.
-
Beth was giving chase having to turn sharply to follow him towards the outside. She cursed everything, the wound on her side, the fact she was running like hell in a dress, and the quackery of this lab that leg to this situation. Her breaths started to come out in puffs as she tried hard to forget the pain welling up in her side making it harder and harder to keep running. Reaching a hand she held it to the wound feeling the blood oozing out.
She stopped short of the door still holding her side leaning against the doorframe. It was extremely painful to even run right now. The chatter of the ear piece was getting near panic levels. She sighed and pressed a button focusing on one of the guards in the tower the demon was running for. “Mac what’s happening?” She asked getting a quick explanation of the situation as the demon started climbing the tower. There were bullet raining down on him, although they didn’t seem to be doing much good. It was quite frustrating to watch from the ground. She was cursing under her breath of course he could shapeshift. At the top of the tower there was a commotion and one of the guards went hurtling out of the tower meeting his demise on the ground below. A small creature peered over the side curious as it looked down at Damien climbing the tower. It looked like a tiny little redfurry creature with large curious brown eyes and a small button nose. It made a small noise before looking up as another guard started taking aim at the demon climbing the tower. It’s head tipped slightly and the guard was sent flying back. The little thing sat perched on the edge of the tower going back to staring at Damien.
-
By the time Damien made it to the tower window he looked like a massive black Komodo dragon with glistening gold eyes. He eyed the red furry creature with cautious curiosity. Seeing that it removed a threat he nodded at it in thanks before taking out any remaining men. After the area was neutralized, Damien reverted back to his human form. Grabbing the handle to the door that led in and out of the tower he broke it off, and smashed his fist into the keypad, rendering the door useless and unable to be opened. He took control of the the guns and began shooting at the fence, hoping to break down one of them to make an escape route. If he could shoot down any hunters in the process was a bonus. He glanced back at the red thing hesitantly, "You're going to help me out here, right buddy?" He never seen such a creature before, how it got there was also a concern of his. If it was up here with the men it could have been a familiar, but given that it murdered one of the men, in a single gesture he might add, was a slight relief. But there was more than met the eye with this one, Damien knew it.
-
The creature gave a soft noise of amusement as the rest of the guards were taken out. Jumping down from the ledge large brown eyes looked at the demon. It jumped over a body without much notice a long flowing tail moving behind it. The creature moved quietly without making the slightest bit of noise as it traveled closer. Staring up at him the brown eyes of the creature seemed to be staring into his very soul, if he even had one. It didn’t give much of an answer instead leaping up on the ledge near where the guns were positioned at the fence trying to shoot it down. It’s eyes narrowed to slits with the long red tail brushing the ground behind it. The fence started to waver. The posts closest started to creak and groan before slowly bending backwards. With the stress on the posts and the bullets beating into it a section of the fence went crashing to the ground. The red creature leapt back down stretching very casually as if nothing was happening. Hunters were scrambling for cover down below. Beth had to duck off to the side holding her side. Wincing she cursed under her breath wishing there was something she could do. When the fence went down the whole complex seemed to shake.
-
Damien raised a brow at the creature, "You sure are a force to reckon with. How did you even get up here...?" Banging at the busted door announced a team of Hunters trying to break it down. "Hey, you want to bust out of here with me?" Damien hopped on the ledge of the watch tower ready to jump. His body began to take up a form of a dragon. Wings began to messily sprout from his back. Since the transformation was rushed the wings would only be good for gliding a short distance. The leathery wings were dripping with blood from breaking out of the his back. The change was painful, but Damien bit down on his tongue, keeping his mind focused. A small form caught his attention for a split second, seeing Beth down below, gripping her side. A smirk came upon his face in triumph. He'd love to play around more with her, but now wasn't the time. Looking back at the creature his brow twitched, "what should I call you..?"
-
Giving no really answer the creature instead just stared at him for a moment. The best guess would be maybe a guard had brought it here because he thought it was cute or just weird. The little thing tensed quite a bit when it heard the banging at the door. It's relaxed posture instantly go defensive. Red fur along it's spine raising in a challenge to the hunters. Swinging its head at the invitation it glanced over its shoulder at the door before leaping up on the ledge beside him and climbing aboard. As they took off gliding the creature peered down at the ground making an excited noise at the feeling of flying, clearly it was having fun in this situation despite the fact that there was a lot of destruction just below. Tipping its head to the side it seemed to be thinking about the question, it seemed very aware of what he was saying. Large brown eyes narrowed seemed to be focusing of him intently. Gri... Not saying it out loud the thing said it telepathically. Doing so seemed to exhaust the little thing and it huffed softly catching sight of Beth standing and watching them careen off, another amused noise came from the red animal.
