Large paws sank slightly into the dark coloured sand as she moved, attempting to keep up a brisk pace. She had come along the coastline, following the ocean towards the peninsula. It was a little after dawn and although the look in her light brown eyes seemed to scream that she was tired, she kept the quick pace up. Every now and then she stole a glance over her shoulder looking, looking behind her as if she was being hunted. She supposed that to some extent she was - or had been, anyhow. Each time she looked back and saw nothing but the long stretch of black sand beach behind her she felt relief flood her body. It was the relief that caused her pace to finally slow. Her pure will to survive had kept her moving all through the night, compelling her to not even think about stopping until she reached the clan. Now that she had reached their lands she craved nothing more than a good rest. Perhaps some food, too.
Her walking, which had slowed considerably, eventually ceased and she came to a halt. Glancing around her, the lioness almost wasn't surprised to see someone on the beach up ahead. She as by the border line after all and it would be strange indeed if HawkClan didn't have someone keeping an eye on their boundaries. Relieved indeed to see someone close by the broad shouldered lioness sat, resting her wear legs by nestling back on her haunches. Looking ahead she could see that the clanner had spotted her. They were on their way.
