Circe is very self confident and very mature, although this is under cut by her appearance. She is very self-important and has little concern for the pain of other humans. She is however very protective of her 'coven' as she calls it, the circus. She is very apathetic toward humans, seeing them more as food, cattle, and when she chooses companionship and then food. Other supernatural creatures she has a general respect for, other vampires she views as her one and only equal.

HISTORY

Circe was changed by her father, who was subsequently killed by her mother. Her and her mother stayed together until her mother passed away from young age. For most of the 18'th century she lived alone and feed as she wanted from whomever she wanted. Later she was taken into the foster care system. When she managed to escape she found her way to the circus she had heard about and settled in there.

Matias is a pretty chill guy, he works hard and appreciates hard workers. Most of the time he remains very calm although he hides a criminal temper and a solid punch. HISTORY

Matias lived with his mother and a jerk of a 'father' in russia for several years. When his mother became fed up with her boyfriend they left for america. His mother became disconnected and he raised himself for the most part, making friends with who he needed to to survive. One of the needed people, one he grew to rely on heavily, vanished one day leaving him desperate for a long time. When he found out the reason for his pain was because the other man went to prison he decided that he wanted to be a cop, to put bad guys in prison before anyone gets attached to them.

Robin: Robin is a very loose kind of guy. He has an intimidating aura that will make you want to completely avoid him if you were to come across him but in reality, Robin is an outgoing teenager who wants to have as much fun as possible. There isn't nothing more he loves than to mess around and joke with his friends. He's sarcastic but sometimes it can be hard to notice his sarcastic tone and some of his sarcastic remarks could be taken seriously. Robin can be seen as independent but he works just as well when around others. He's a guy who you could sit on a rooftop and chill with. However, Robin is also intelligent. He can look at you and pick you apart piece by piece as he analyzes your personality and background. Despite being a demon and his goal in life to take and feed on the souls of human beings, he's actually a friendly person. Sometimes he can come off as a sociopath with no disregard for the feelings of others but it's not hard to become friends with him. He tries his best to make as many friends as he can and he tries his best to make sure that there are no conflicts between him and his friends. However, he is still a demon and he can be cold and ruthless and violent. Robin is also quite loyal and incredibly protective (as can be seen when with Elizabeth). However, he is only loyal to those he feels that will be loyal back. If he feels or sees that you are an untrustworthy person or that you are dishonest, don't even be surprised if he completely ignores you. Robin is also a very charismatic person. He can light up a room just by walking into it and his charisma can help with tricking humans.

Elizabeth: Elizabeth is a very enthusiastic and innocent seeming young girl. She's very adventurous and goes against the 'girly' stereotype. It isn't rare to see her with bruises and cuts from the many times she'll take to exploration. Elizabeth is very reckless and can get into a lot of trouble very quickly. If you let go of her hand, she might just run off and set fire to an apartment building. Like I have said, Elizabeth is not 'girly' and does not follow the stereotypes of a girl. She loves to roughhouse and get dirty. To her, life is just one big adventure and that she must explore it before her time is up. Elizabeth is a bit mature and knows a bit more than kids her age should know but she is still a child and there are still a lot of things she does not fully understand. She is incredibly energetic and could probably keep going for days on end. All she wants in life is to explore and adventure, even if she may get hurt in the process. She also loves to observe the small things in life and to stop and just 'smell the roses'. Though, young, she can become highly protective and isn't afraid to start fights. Elizabeth is also incredibly stubborn and will usually keep going even if you tell her to stop. She'll always find her way to get what she wants.

HISTORY

Robin: Robin was born somewhere after the Revolutionary War in Great Britain. His father was the one who mostly took care of him for his mother had ties with a cult that was known for their inhumane sacrifices of both animals and other human beings so that they could please the devil or whatever evil entity they worshiped. Robin's father knew about his wife's whereabouts but he never went against her. He loved her and his love was enough to blind him from what kind of person she was. Robin's mother would always be gone almost every night so that she could be with the cult and that left Robin with his father. Robin never really went to school and was mostly home schooled by his father. Whenever Robin did go to school, he never stayed for a full year. He always spent most of his time on the streets, running around messing with his friends and causing trouble and just being a kid. Nothing much happened through his life until his father fell to a gambling addiction. When he was 15, his family fell into a debt because of his father and because of this, Robin's mother got incredibly mad at him. The two of them would constantly argue and would sometimes even get physical and one day, Robin's whole life would change.

There was one person who Robin's father cared about and treasured the most, and the was Robin, himself. The two of them had an unbreakable bond and seeing this, his mother wanted to do something about this. She wanted to take away the one thing he loved the most as a punishment for causing the family to become poor. One night, she took both Robin and his father to the country side because it was a 'peaceful' night and she just wanted to have some kind of family day with the two of them. Of course, this was odd for her and the two constantly questioned her but she would always dismiss their questions. As she then began to lead them into a forest, Robin and his father had bags be put over their heads and they were knocked unconscious. When Robin woke, he was in a cave and he was laying down on something made out of stone. He soon found out that they were in a ritual area and that he was going to be the sacrifice and that his father was forced to watch. His mother told him that she loved him but she needed to teach his father a lesson. The cult was going to let a demon take his soul in exchange for Robin's father to be haunted by demons and ghosts for the rest of his life (as if killing his only son in front of him wasn't enough to teach him to never give into addictions). Then it was all a blur, the cult called upon the demon that would take his soul and Robin was killed. Robin doesn't really remember anything about the whole thing but he does remember the feeling of the blade that killed him. Robin was around 16 or 18 when he died. However, he woke in the same cave he died in but it was different. It was dark and nobody was there. The world he was in felt empty and he himself felt empty. Robin sat up on the stone slab he was killed on and when he did, a demon appeared in front of him. It was tall and dark in color and that was all he could remember. It examined him for a moment and the demon did nothing but smile. The demon thought Robin to be a good person and that he would allow the boy to return to Earth but he would be immortal, he would become a demon himself. With a snap of the demon's fingers, Robin turned up in hell and was able to take a glimpse of the place for a full minute before he woke up in the cave, once more. However, everything was different. Years had passed and he was now living in the Victorian Era. Life went on for him and he was able to transverse between Earth and part of Hell. The part he was able to transverse to was not the true Hell and instead it was cold and dark and there was no color. He was able to take the souls of hundreds or more people and able to grant wishes for mortals who called upon him for help. Robin became corrupted and evil. He enjoyed the deaths of others and mostly enjoyed to torture them. He traveled most of Europe in search of souls to take and lives to ruin. One night, he found a girl all be herself on the street. He took her in and two of them lived together like they had known each other for years. The girl was the one who told, Robin about the circus and it didn't take long for the two of them to settle in. (Ah, this is really long but I love writing backstories for my characters. I'll probably change something about his backstory later on.)

Elizabeth: Elizabeth was born in Italy in a small fishing village. Her father was a werewolf while her mother but a normal human being. She had a brother who she had never met but he had died when he was shot by a fleeing criminal. She began to show werewolf traits when she was only 1. Whenever she would cry, she would grow wolf ears and wolf-like teeth. Her parents, however, loved her deeply and managed to keep her werewolf blood a secret from the other people living in the village. The family could have moved and lived in the city which was advancing in technology but the village was nice and peaceful for them. There was no electronics and nothing to get in their way of life. Stories of werewolves turning savage on full moons did not affect her or her father for they were a different type of werewolf. They were able to control their transformations but when angered, stressed, scared, or incredibly nervous, they would transform. Elizabeth was a very curious child. She would wander off quite a lot and was always full of energy. When she was 6-years-old, a 9-year-old boy had angered her and this caused her to only half turn. She attacked the boy but quickly ran away when she realized what she had done. The boy survived (barely) and nobody ever found out what that she was the one who attacked him. She soon became scared of herself but her father and mother were there to help her.

One night, her father's wolf instincts took over and he transformed into a wolf. He broke out of the house and attempted to kill the livestock of one of the farmers who lived close to the village. Elizabeth and her mother were not aware of this until the woke and when they did, there was an angry mob at their door. They planned on killing both Elizabeth and her mother due to fear of them also being werewolves. Elizabeth was able to flee but her mother was shot and killed as she tried to protect her daughter. All of this went down when she was 7, almost 8. She ran and ran until she passed out in the middle of the forest. From here, she traveled to the city and lived on the streets until, Robin found her sleeping on the sidewalk.

Lunette is generally quiet and doesn't talk a lot, but when she does, her responses are short and to the point. She is only social when she has to be, preferring to keep to herself most of the time and enjoying her solitude. As a result, not a lot people know much about her, despite her being in the circus for a very long time. Even if she has a reserved personality, she has no trouble with interacting with the other members of the circus, knowing a lot about each of them... Even things they never discussed with her. She seems to have a knack with kids, knowing just how to get on their good side and earn their trust, but she shouldn't be left with them for very long.

HISTORY

Any recorded of history of 'Helen Dutcher' has either been lost to time or is just unknown. This is widely due to the fact that the real Helen Dutcher was killed a very long time ago and Lunette merely adapted her victim's name. Helen, when alive, was a middle-aged woman with five children who lived with her husband on a small farm; that is until Lunette came along. No one was spared and no one survived after she had broken into their home, the only evidence of her crime being blood splatter on the floor in various rooms of the farmhouse. With the entire family gone, Lunette continued to live inside the home until neighbors became suspicious, having not heard from the family in weeks. She left before police could arrive to investigate, leaving behind a cold case that will baffle people for years to come.

Years later and she still has 'Helen Dutcher' as her assumed name, though she prefers to be called by her stage name, 'Lunette'. She has been with the circus for a long time and has since invested all of her loyalty into it and the Ringmaster. Lunette defends both with a certain animosity, granting her the nickname, 'The Luminos Guard Dog', anything that threatens the circus... She will deal with, no matter how big.

It is unknown what sparked this fierce devotion to the Ringmaster, though it can be speculated that it is because they gave her a permanent place to reside with a steady supply of victims. Before coming to Luminos, Lunette was a wanderer, moving from small town to small town and leaving behind missing persons everywhere she went. It was only a matter of time before she was caught by someone, fates forbid law enforcement, or maybe even worse.
