Of the Fairest Lands
Sign - Ups
Where do we go after we die, is there an afterlife? And what's of that afterlife, is it really Heaven, Hell, or Limbo? Are our souls truly judged and then their placement determined, do we remember who we are or who we were? This roleplay is of this curiosity, your character or characters are dead, and their soul, - or is it their soul? - have been summoned, or discarded here in these "Fairest of Lands". What does that mean and what is this place? Of course your character(s) don't know and that is part of their journey, along with their survival. Surviving what exactly is it's own surprise gift I intend to deliver, your character could also try to see if they would actually "die" but the fear of that unknown is quite justifiable (and I wouldn't recommend it).
So How Does This Begin
Entry
All characters will arrive to the Fairest of Lands via mystically through a hollow yet very much living tree (i know it sounds very silly but work with me). Your character of course is like a new born baby, they have no idea where they are, how they got here, no memories, nor likely even know who they are. Your character, being at the base of the tree whose hollow is now faintly glowing, will after taking in their surroundings see (or hear if they're blind) an elderly man seemingly patiently waiting. This elder man will be asking you character questions~ These questions are important for you and your character(s). I will not explain what happens and how this will affect your character/s, but I ask for a variety of answers (not everyone saying the same answer for one question). If your character asks the elder man a question, he will reply but not to answer it~
Your character/s come at one at a time, meaning there are no characters who enter the Fairest Lands in multiples of three, two, except on very rare occasions (which I am currently not allowing). Another character will not enter until the previous character that entered has left the area (after answering the elderly man's questions and then following his instructions [which will ultimately lead you out of the area]). After this your character is on his or her own, left to their devices to try to make sense of this new realm they're in as well as survive. Yes, survive, because these Fairest Lands aren't all that fair. There will be places for you to discover and choices to make. As you discover places, what your character finds out about them will be recorded and open for outside forces (the roleplayers) to see thought this of course does not mean their characters know these things.
