Val wasn't sure whether if was too late for him to do the task Elizabeth had given him. But, even if it was, there was never a time when a game wasn't fun. There wasn't much needed for the game he'd come up with, only other members to join him. River was perched on the roof of a nearby home, keen on watching what would unfold in case she was needed. And, with a smile, Val would turn to anyone who walked close enough while making their way through camp and ask them, "Play wit' me?"

... And I’m just saying that’s what she said, believe me if you want! I chuckled, facing my blue tinted companion. We were settling quite well if I said myself. It was a strange place, this was, but it was nice looking and everyone got along for the most part. Or… at least I haven’t seen any fights yet. Poor Jack was still a bit on edge, but I believe in him. I’m sure he’ll open up eventually.
I opened my mouth to speak again when a lion cub padded up to us, asking us to play with him. My eyes lit up, a bright smile spreading across my face. How adorable! Poor thing had no one to play with him? That was so sad… I turned to Jack, a bright smile on my muzzle. He did not look impressed. He turned to the lion cub, a cold frown on his face. I rolled my eyes and turned back, speaking We’ll play with you! before Jack could shut the kid’s dreams down.
Jack turned to me, shocked. What? he barked out, Ace! We have stuff to do. We can’t entertain every kid we find! I’ve already walked away from him, chuckling under my breath. Sure we can! I mean. We can’t but not with your attitude! This was perfect! Play a game and get Jack out of his comfort zone. He needed to interact more anyways.
I frowned as I watched a bead of sweat run down his face. I smiled sympathetically and turned back to him, Come on. It’s just one game. I promise you it’ll be fine. His frown twisted into a sigh, a glimmer of a smile on his face. Fine. Jack agreed. One game. I agree to one game. I cheered at the agreement. Jack only laughed at me. I turned back to the lion cub. Vamelion… Vaemon… Whatever his name was. What are we playing then?
... And I’m just saying that’s what she said, believe me if you want! Ace laughed, turning to face me. I was worried about his enthusiasm sometimes. He took things too quickly and too trusting. He was able to adjust to our new surroundings in record time, meanwhile I still constantly trip on my own feet, unable to get a footing on the new ground beneath me.
Ace was about to speak again when a lion cub padded up to us. He was asking us to… play with him? Does everyone ask random strangers to talk to them in this world? I raised a brow at the idea. What a ridiculous thought. I felt my hair stand up at the eyes burning on my side. I turned to face Ace. He was ecstatic. Right on queue. I turned back to the cub, about to tell him we had work to do when…
We’ll play with you! I perked up, a confused while escaping my throat. What? I barked, turning to face Ace. Ace! We have stuff to do. We can’t entertain every kid we find! I cried out, distraught. Aaaand he’s walking away from me. I huffed and hunched over, defeated. I might as well give up now. Ace has a big heart and he’s going to share it with everyone he meets. I turned to the kid, my ears pinning back. I never liked people, especially strangers. I felt a bead of sweat run down my face. How pathetic, being scared by a kid…
Come on. It’s just one game. I promise you it’ll be fine. Ace comforted me. I stared at him deadpanned for a few seconds before sighing, a defeated smile on my face. Fine. I agreed, standing up and following after him. One game. I agree to one game. Ace cheered at the agreement, the dork. I laughed at the enthusiasm, snorting quietly under my breath. He’s just an entertaining person. Ace quickly turned back to the cub. Valemon was his name. What are we playing then? He asked. I simply sat beside him, eyeing the lion.

Well, there were two volunteers, though the one guy obviously wasn't keen on playing. But, that only made Val more appreciative that he was. "Pretend!" he answered Ace's question. Assuming they might not know how to play his game, he continued to explain. "You guess what I be!" Without further ado, the cub rose to his full height, attempting to look as big as possible. After a moment, he sat back on his haunches and began to wave his forelegs up and down. Then, yet again he changed position, crouching as a growl escaped his maw and he did his best to look scary. He hoped the friends before him managed to figure out what he was being, or at least come up with some funny guesses.

・゚ ✦ ° TRAGEDY BEFORE MY CYNICAL EYES - Laughter escaped the lion cub as she moved forward, a lopsided grin on her maw. He kept going up and down, opening his maw and closing it. That had to be only one person, right? "Are you trying to be Father?" She asks, stopping briefly, turning her gaze towards the other lion.

i will make you proud i will make you have faith in me Was this kid okay? Destrian hadn't caught the beginning of whatever Valemon had started, and instead simply stumbled upon the situation at the wrong moment. Valemon seemed to be... Mimicking someone? The others surrounding him seemed to be watching, like the lion was putting on a show or playing a game. Another lion cub laughed and asked if he was being 'father'. It was probably a game then, maybe one like charades. Interesting. Des slowly padded over, icy eyes watching Valemon with vague amusement and curiosity. He had better things to do than play games, but maybe he could stick around for a little bit.

Val didn't mind the fact Sekai was laughing at him, because it meant she was having fun, too. Her guess was good, but he actually had someone else it mind. After shaking his head 'no', the cub resumed his crouch and let out a small, not very threatening roar. Another came to join him but didn't say anything, so he kept his eyes on Sekai. Maybe she would have another guess.

A guessing game of sorts? Shining could have sworn he'd participated in one of these before... but couldn't quite put the name of the game to words. Ah well, he still understood the concepts. He had amusingly watched Valemon try to be something- looked like an animal of some kind? Well, he might as well get the obvious guess out of the way. "Are you a lion, Valemon?" Shining asked, with a bit of a chuckle. And technically... he was.
-
A lion? Well... Val stood to his full height, pondering this guess. He was a lion, but that wasn't what he was pretending to be. So, no, right? Right. "No!" he finally said, as if that were the most obvious thing in the world. He wondered if he should keep going until someone guessed right, but he also wanted someone else to take a turn. He liked guessing just as much as pretending. "'m Luciferus!" he revealed. Maybe waving his paws around wasn't comparable to actual wings, but it had been the best he could do. And, perhaps he hadn't really captured the apparent scariness of the dragon's appearance, but again, he'd tried. Well, now it was someone else's turn... Valemon wanted everyone to have the chance to go, though he'd let the individual volunteer for themselves. "'s next turn pretend," the cub said, looking around eagerly.

LESSA REN SOLO
riverclan doctor & thunderlands citizen | info | played by misty
Oh, that looked fun. She smiled lightly as she joined Val and their clanmates, settling beside Shine just in time for his revelation he was pretending to be Luciferius. She chuckled, eyes twinkling. "I could go next..." she offered softly, brow furrowing for a brief moment. She had an idea. She wasn't sure it would work.
But the doctor got up on her feet and took a step or two back, concentrating. She did not want to shapeshift - force, no, that'd be disaster she was sure - but she wanted to make an illusion. An image of black wings, resting properly on her back. She had never tried to make a projection to more than two or three individuals before; a mental image she did not want to force into anyone's mind, but gently present it to them so they would see it too, weary. She squared her shoulders a little, and looked for somewhere of higher ground. A step. She jumped up with as much confidence as she could, with as much authority as she could muster, smiling a bit more shyly. "'kay... Go for it." She did not know how long she could manage the projection.

/Im dying val tryna imitate luciferus, HE'S TOO PRECIOUS
Luciferus had watched from the shadows with a grin at Val's impersonation, that grin had grown wider when the little lion announced proudly 'M Luciferus' the devil feeling oddly touched by that little imitation if anything.
oh no the devil caught feelings - Luciferus snorted at himself, shifting out of the shadows to join the little group with a grin at Val "An excellent impression" he complimented before turning to look at his mother with a slight raised brow and a quizzical headtilt.
black wings huh. "are you Shining?" he guessed
