Not sure which account you would use so I tagged both.

Also, is this post kits or after them?

The orange tom stalked through the forest, looking for a place where he and his mate could stay. They needed a den or a tree. He looked over to her, wondering what to do.

  • After?

I’ll probably leap back and forth between the two.

The black-speckled-white female trotted after him, four kits trailing behind, complaining of their paws hurting. Or wondering how long it was going to be. “Hush! Won’t be long!” The female calls over her shoulder, amber gaze bright.

  • Spotting a clump of safe looking bracken Talonfire motioned to it with his head. "We can shelter there for now." He looked back to the kits, "don't worry we're taking a break." He gave his mate loving lick on the head, "I'll go catch us something to eat once everyone's settled."

  • Flurryblaze nodded, ushering the kits ahead of her and giving a lick to Talonfire’s cheek. “Of course you will.” She mewed, momentarily twining her tail with his..

  • Talonfire nodded to the kits, "rest while you can, this will not shelter us well through the night as it can now." He gave a purr in farewell and made his way out, his mouth open for the scent of prey, trotting through the forest.

  • Talon fire soon happened upon a rabbit and chased it down. He soon had it in his grasp, and crushed its neck. He covered it up and was soon after a squirrel. Once he had the orange-brown creature and the rabbit safely secured in his jaws he made his way back to his mate. He crawled under the bush and dropped them in front of her. "Lunch is served," he joked.

  • Flurryblaze

Talonfire soon arrived, dropping a rabbit and a squirrel at her paws. All four kits scrambled one over the other trying to get towards the prey. “Why thank you.” She purred, tearing the squirrel into smaller pieces for the kits

  • Talonfire purred happily, "they'll grow up fine at this rate." He looked down at the rabbit, "and plenty left for us too." He did not eat the rabbit though, instead he began to groom his mate, bringing his tongue over her back in swift, gentle strokes.

  • Talon fire looked over to the kits and back to Flurryblaze, "we should probably try to get moving again soon. I'd hate to think that we would be stuck out in the open under a bush."

  • Hidden within the thick of brambles and bushes, a long haired black she-cat watched the family of cats. Her ears pricked and attentive, curious as to where they were headed. The she cat, Crow had been hunting until she heard the approach of other cats. Crow was not one to duck and hide, unless necessary. However, she decided to take the role of observer. Crow itched to get closer, keeping her eyes on the family she shifted forward slightly. To her dismay, a branch cracked under her paw. Cursing to herself, Crow remained still hoping they wouldnt notice.

  • Crow tensed even more than she already was, claws digging into the dirt as if that would some how make her invisible. Crow thought to herself for a moment, remembering the cat's names. Clan cats? She mused internally. What are they doing out here? Going against all of her instincts, Crow slowly crawled out from her hiding place. She kept a safe distance from the family, only moving towards them enough so she could be seen. Crow eyed the she cat cautiously.

  • Crow decided it was best not to step forward, it would be seen as a threat. She met the she-cat's eyes levelly.

"I could ask you the same question, you all look like youre a little far from home." Crow replied cocking her head to the side.

  • “We don’t have a home. Hence the reason we’re out here feeding ourselves before we find a decent den. No stuck up in their stupid rules clan cat is gonna stop us!” She growled, special emphasis on the last part.

  • Crow narrowed her eyes, feeling her hackles rise from the aggression. "I didn't mean to offend, your names are can cat names... or so "ive heard." Crow finished quickly. She stepped forward again, making herself bigger. "I'm not a clan cat, my rules are my own." Crow spat.

  • (Sorry for my absence, finals are rolling around for me...)

Talonfire crawled out from under the bush, signaling to the kits to stay where they were. He doubted the new comer would be a threat to them, two against one wasn't an easy fight to win. Especially if one of the cats was a mother. "We were clan cats, but we soon found that their ways were not for us." A low growl was in his words, certainly the lone cat would not dare attack them, especially if they got the right idea. He stared at her, his piercing yellow gave baring down on her. He stood tall, him being the proud rogue that he was.
