uhh what helped me develop my style for drawing cattos and doggos was seeing what I liked of others styles and incorporating them into my own ?? like the way I draw ears, the way I shade, but anime eyes ect ect
that helped me lots but evey artist is different so ?? idk my advice is terrible lmao

no it's all good i've had other people suggest me that too. i'm i kinda did the same thing for my art now with my humans having a bigger and more realistic nose ish? gonna try to get back into animals

i wanted to try a quarter realistic style so i went for a large nose, but small ones are fine too in my book
