  • Leo glanced around, to keep his eyes open for Stein. He couldn't see Stein. "We should start looking for him. Get you stitched up before we miss class." He did like to be at class. He liked to learn despite not letting anyone know. So he let out a sigh. It was going to be a mess, but he was okay with everything. Looking at his meister, worried about her health. Those cuts wwere bad and bandaging her up could only help her so much.

  • (Right, sorry if I messed up.)

Celeste hadn't spotted Stein as she continued to walk ahead of him, but she accidentally ram into a young woman. To her surprise as she got knocked back, it appeared to be the school nurse. She quickly apologized to the woman known as Medusa, which didn't seem fitting for the blond haired woman, with odd yellow irises. The woman took it in stride, and was able to lead her to the area where Stein was. Stein was once again performing an odd project, and thankfully it wasn't involving a dissection. Celeste didn't remember when the school nurse had first arrived, but she didn't mind her otherwise.

She looked over at Leo, showing he didn't have to linger around in the same area as Stein. The school nurse had given her a strange feeling, but eventually brushed it off to the side. Hopefully Stein wouldn't attempt to put a huge screw through her head, as he had did to himself. She saw Soul and Blackstar causing a peculiar situation in the hallway.

  • Leo's concern for Stein went away as he saw the nurse. He got a strange vibe around her, and immediately he was on edge. Something was off about the woman. He'd never seen her before, and while they did tend to get new instructors here and there, he was pretty sure he didn't hear any mention of a new nurse. But Celeste seemed fine with her. However, her judgment wasn't always the best so he kept his eyes on her only to slip to Stein.

"She got hurt yesterday and I can't stitch her up. Stop messing around and grab your suturing materials." He was a very pushy kind of person and his glare said that if Stein didn't get to helping his meister, he was going to have a problem. He didn't care how skilled the guy was. He only cared that his best friend got taken care of.

    //No it's fine. it's because I haven't watched the show in a while so i'm like....

  • (I'm just taking some things from the wiki, honestly.)

Celeste backed away a bit from Stein, before she composed herself again. He clearly seemed to be done with what he was doing, and had approached the two of them. The man did gesture for her to sit down, as this was apparently rather simple for him. It took longer than normal, but eventually he had finished repairing most of the damage to her back. Celeste was relieved that Stein wasn't in one of his weirder moods at the moment, as she couldn't take that. She hadn't known whether Leo had remained in the room at all. She remembered that Leo had suggested to her to not go to any classes for a while, due to her injury. Her mind wandered back to the nurse, finding her soul had felt rather odd.

  • Leo kept his sharp eyes on Stein, making sure he didn't make one inappropriate move Celeste. He didn't trust the guy as deep as he couldd cut him. And considering Stein was a hard one to get to, there was no way that he would be able to cut him at all. He relaxed slightly when the creep was done and nodded a little. "How long are they going to be in?" He would have to keep an eye on her to make sure she didn't strain herself and rip the stitches out before it was time for them to be removed. She was so clumsy sometimes though, and she got herself into a lot of trouble. He knew this. It happened all the time.

  • Celeste sighed, as Leo's opinion of her skills as meister may have plummeted for the moment. Stein had looked over at him, barely paying much attention to him. "About a week or two, if she's lucky." Stein replied, before turning back to whatever project he had been working on. Celeste exited the room, as she was needing to get a grasp on the peculiar presence she was sensing. She hadn't run off, as Leo still had his own life he needed to tend to. The girl felt guilty for taking up space much of his overall schedule, at least at the time.

The odd feeling soon dissipated, much to her confusion. It wasn't Leo's wavelength, as she especially felt when she had first attempted Soul Resonance. It had been a shock that she had managed to sync soul wavelengths with him, as she was still learning over time. Her mind drifted back to the sudden beam of energy that had cut through the kishin last nigjt. She hadn't ever really experienced rejection from holding a demon weapon, other than when she first became a meister. Attempting to get a hold of the weapon, had ended with her hands getting scalded.

  • Leo followed after Celeste immediately, not caring much for Stein past him treating his meister. She was all over the place! It was hard to keep track of her when she just kept wandering off and doing her own thing. Of course she was going to do so, she had a life and she always gave into her urges of curiosity, but it was a lot of work for him to keep up with her. It didn't take him long to find her. "What are you doing?? You need to be resting!"

    He knew he was fretting.

He tended to do it quite often, especially when it came to Celeste and her being injured. Right now she wasn't in top shape. She was an inexperienced meister and being injured would only put her in more danger. He couldn't leave her side and she needed to be taking it easy.

  • "Leo, did something feel off to you about that nurse?" Celeste asked, walking up to him with a calm expression. This felt different than a kishin soul, but Leo would probably disregard her as being oblivious yet again. "I can't rest here, you don't have to keep track of me right now, you have classes you'll miss." Celeste thought back to the girl in her class, that had blushed when she made eye contact with Leo. She spotted the girl coming down the hallway, peering at the both of them from where she was. She turned back to Leo, not wanting him to feel like she was brushing him off.

Celeste appreciated his concern, as he had this safe quality about him. Though she didn't want her condition to take away from his own time. She shook her head, not wanting to let this deter her completely. She was going to listen to what he said, as it seemed the wisest course of action.

  • Leo followed Celeste's gaze and when he saw the girl, he accidentally made eye contact with her. It seemed to get the girl all flustered and he watched her head duck down, cheeks pink. He really needed to nip that in the bud before the poor girl got hurt. But right now he couldn't focus on her. Celeste was hurt and that was his priority not some girl he didn't even know..

"Yeah. Something about her feels off." He was impressed that she had sensed it too. "I think her sudden appearance here is weird, too." He admitted. "I have never seen her before in my life and yet she already is extremely confident around here? It's suspicious to say the least. Plus..." Something just felt off about her. "Right now I don't care about that, though." He admitted. "You're hurt and SOMEONE has to make sure you don't get into more trouble. I'm your weapon. It's my duty to protect you and you got hurt because I wasn't with you so if you're missing class so am I. And I already told you that you can't go to class in that state so you need to go home and rest and I'll go and keep you company. You can get the notes from Maka later."

  • Celeste caught Leo looking over at the girl, seeing her turn completely red. She wasn't that oblivious too notice, as it seemed that she had a crush on him. Though she turned her attention away from her, as it wasn't any of her business. She couldn't help but be satisfied that he had agreed with her, especially on the woman. The building beginning to be overcrowded with students, as the first period was starting. Celeste noticed Kid off in the distance, looking over at the two of them for a moment. The son of death can be rather intimidating, especially when he put his full strength into battle with Liz and Patty.

"Alright Leo, thank you." She uttered out, before she remembered to go check on her mother, as she had to be back by then. Instead of wandering off, she walked with Leo out of the academy. While she spotted some familiar faces, many were just ones she had seen in the hallways. There was one guy that creeped her out, and she often tried to avoiding him in the walkways. It didn't take her very long to reach the street near her home, although her mother may question what Leo was doing there.

  • "Okay, so is it just me or do you like highly wonder about Kid's symmetry?" Leo asked, because it was starting to bother him. "Like he freaks out uncontrollably for like anything architectural that is asymmetrical, right? But then when it comes to like hair styles on other people or even his own weapons, it only seems to bother him sometimes. But I've heard that he nearly loses fights because of his OCD for symmetry." It didn't make any sense in Leo's mind. "He can't even write his name without it being symmetrical and nice. "

He supposed it shouldn't matter, but he was trying to make conversation as they walked out of the academy and he had seen Kid in passing with his two weapons. And of course the thought just randomly struck him. "It's the strangest thing." He admitted. He was still on high alert - especially when they got closer to her home. He knew where she lived, of course. Just because they didn't live together didn't mean he wasn't aware of where she resided.

  • "Nope, you aren't alone there." Celeste responded in turn to his question, as she found that Tait rather hilarious. The two of them continued to speak about Kid, their confusion about his habit was obvious. She ended up mentioning Blackstar, who always ended up speaking about himself in most conversations. Though she couldn't help but laugh when it came to the moment, when Kid had attempted to write his name. The paper ending up tearing, which led to Kid falling over. It baffled her that he even managed to find a way to collapse symmetrically. She knew this was just for the two of them to kill time, but she found it enjoyable nonetheless.

Her home soon came into view, and to her shock she could see someone through the window. Her mother had been a meister like her, but quit whenever she had Celeste. Her father was just a normal guy, that apparently had been a kind person when she was younger. Celeste slowly opened the door, which caught her mother's attention rather quickly. The woman asked what Celeste was doing there, before her eyes landed on Leo beside her.

  • Leo didn't know what to say to Celeste's mother. He really didn't have a whole lot of words that he wanted to say. Or at least nothing that would be really polite. Not that he had a problem with her, but Celeste was always by herself. Her mother hardly seemed to take care of her own daughter and that alone was enough to make Leo upset. His own parents had died, but it wasn't like they hadn't tried.

He ended up on the streets of his own accord. He hated being a foster kid and ran away at a young age and ended up on the streets. It wasn't like his family hadn't tried to keep him in a safe environment. He didn't regret it. Had he not been on the streets he would have never become a capable weapon to protect Celeste from her enemies. And he would have never met Celeste like he had. So he was glad for his decision to run away.

  • Celeste explained what had happened, leaving out some details. Her mother's expression shifted to one of great concern, as she had finally issued a restraining order again her father. Her father had attempted to stalk the both of them, being rather inconspicuous in the very beginning. Celeste would never understand why her mother fell for a man like that, and then her mother needed to go back out for two more days. Though she told Celeste not to go to school for the time she would heal, and that she had gotten her something. Her mother smiled at Leo, always having a liking for him. She checked Celeste's back, before balking at the stitches. She left her daughter some money, before she left out the door.

Celeste sighed as her mother left again, she loved her despite the occasional disappearances. She practically idolized the woman, over her deadbeat father overall. She turned towards Leo, not sure if he would feel comfortable being her forever the time being.

  • Leo was polite, and he returned the woman's smile. He supposed that she was better than Celeste's father, but he was concerned about the fact that Celeste was always home alone. "I know you're use to being here by yourself, but if you want me to keep you company I will. I don't mind." He wished she would let him stay. Keep an eye on her.

Make sure that her wounds didn't get infected or injured.

Things that were really important that Celeste might not think about. He didn't want her to overdo it. She was the kind who would be stubborn about things, and he thought it was an endearing trait, but sometimes he really wished she would just let him take care of her. As her weapon, it was his job. But he supposed she was use to being self-sufficient because of her family issues.

  • "I would enjoy having you over, it honestly gets a bit lonely." She admitted sounding a bit meek as she said this to him. Her green eyes were dulled, hearing from this sort of thing again. Though she cheered herself up soon after, something she often did when she was young. She wasn't trying to shove him out the door, just wanted to make sure he was serious. She would be fine before she went to sleep, but it would be rather nice to have someone around. The worst injury that Celeste had gotten before this one, was that she had broken her leg. Though it obviously wasn't bad enough to receive any kind of major surgery, as the outer skin hadn't been damaged.

Her overly stubborn trait was something she was going to leave behind, at least for the moment. The girls eyes narrowed as she noticed the package her mother had brought, she opened it up and it turned out to be a picture of her when she was a toddler. Celeste raised her eyebrow in confusion, before she saw a necklace beside it. Her mother always enjoyed buying little things like this for her. This was going to be a long 2 weeks, and she was free from school.

  • Leo nodded and he took a seat on her sofa, flashing a grin to her. "Well, if I'm not being kicked out there is no way I'm leaving a lady at home alone. I'm not a jerk." He winked at her and smiled. "In the words of Soul 'it's not cool'." He laughed. He didn't really like Soul, but that only stemmed from his jealousy of the fact that Celeste crushed on him. Before he had found out about the crush, Soul and Leo use to be close friends.

In fact, they had practice fights a lot, and they would always talk about protecting their meisters. They had seen eye to eye on most everything until Leo had learned Celeste liked him. It was awkward, but that wasn't why he began to hate the guy. Leo tried bringing up Celeste to Soul, to find out his feelings about her. He hated seeing Celeste being dragged along. And the guy had been completely oblivious. Soul said she was cute, of course (all guys thought she was), but then he went on about Maka. That had utterly pissed off Leo.

  • She couldn't keep a straight face for long when he quoted Soul, which ended up with her laughing. "This is why I love you Leo." She said as he had lightened up her mood considerably, especially with his sarcastic humor. Celeste knew that he would realize she was referring to his sense of humor, before she threw the photo of herself on the coffee table in front of the couch. She swore that her mother was a nerd when it came to taking pictures of everything, especially her. The girl ran off to her room, as she had left a pile of books everywhere. She didn't want Leo accidentally coming into her room, and ramming himself into a stack of books.

As she came back into the room, she decided to let her hair down from the ponytail. The girl had been truly interested in the technique he mentioned, but that wouldn't be happening anytime soon. "Feel free to do whatever, as you might end up passing out, since I slept in your bed." She said sheepishly, still feeling silly for taking his bed. Though the fact get had to carry her to even get there didn't make it any better.

  • Leo laughed with her and shrugged. "One of many things you love about me." He replied confidently, but he was casual relaxing on their sofa. Of course his eyes followed Celeste when she was moving around, on edge and ready to react at the first sign of being in pain. She really needed to be careful, just because she got stitched up didn't mean that she was just fine. She was still injured.

It would take a while for her to recover, too. Which she seemed to forget. But that was just Celeste in general. He let out a soft sigh, but smiled at her regardless. It would be okay. In the end, everything would work out. It just had to be okay because he would lose it if something happened to Celeste because he had failed her as a weapon. "I'll jut hang out. Relax. Chill. Whatever you want to call it."
