  • The young dragon's scales matched the colors that decorated the ground as she landed, folding in her wings. She was a bit excited to be at an actual party. Thea looked around, curious to see who had arrived that she knew. So far, not many. Any confidence she had flying here immediately burned faster than a piece of paper that she stepped on after lighting herself on fire. She was fine with crowds of people she knew, but this was different. Most of these people were strangers.

"Hey," Lessa beamed, waving her tail in greeting as Calliope made her way over. "I love the end result." Food, music, decorations; not a young Lessa Solo's scene either, but she appreciated it more nowadays. To see entire clans taking a night to spend time together and have fun; it was nice.

And there was Shine, and that kriffing smile of his. Her smile broadened quickly, ignoring the annoying way her stomach flipped, especially when she noticed he was wearing the flower crown she made for him. "Hey Shine," since she'd been here most of the day, she hadn't had any unfortunate run-ins with the turkeys, but honestly, she wouldn't be surprised he did. Poor guy. They really needed to figure out what to do with all the turkeys since they had a knack for getting in the way.

”Fretta?!” Don’t fretta me! She’d given an icy glare to the silver shepherd, and backed up at his nuzzling. “Nohing.”She’d responded, when she bumped into someone. She looked upwards, and immediately apologized, “Er, chiedo scusa!

**Chiedo scusa is a formal: “I’m sorry”

  • Lucian's chuckle of amusement could be heard next to her as he nudged her forward. "Stop running into people, just come on and get some food with me, ja?" The german barked, trying his best to at least comfort his friend. He was sure she was nervous with the newcomer and all, but she had to get into the festive mood. "I mean, look at Harper. She's stuffing her face, why shouldn't we?" He whispered into Tiramisu's ear, smirking playfully. Hopefully he didn't come off as rude or anything, he was just honest.

  • The dragon jumped when somebody bumped into her, looking behind her. A small German shepard pup had bumped into her, but was quickly led away by a larger German shepherd. Maybe because she was a big scary dragon with a chinchilla. Kiwi never minded when Thea flew with her pet nestled on her back, but she still worried.

    yeet.

Something felt strange as soon as he had set foot on these lands but since his life had been pretty much a tousled up mess as of late then he was quick to push his feelings aside. Feeling strange was his normal, he supposed, but even still he had to glance at his hawk companion, Cecilia, once or twice for comfort and she had even squawked back at him in an encouraging manner. His bright blue eyes scanned the decent sized crowd before his tail wagged slightly at the sight of other canines that looked a lot like him but they appeared to be having their own conversation and so his gaze flickered over to Thea.

"Hi!" Robbie greeted warmly as the pup padded over to the dragon with a small smile. Cecilia was hovering nearby until she decided to hop over to the food selection and her absence was a tad worrying to him but he inhaled deeply and tried to keep calm. This was his first event outside of HawkClan and he was trying his best to be not confused or easily hassled. "I'm Robbie." He introduced himself with a light sniff while his eyes briefly peered at her before they darted around, taking in all of the sights. There was still a nagging sensation in the back of his brain pecking away at his skull but he ignored that.

  • "I'm Thea." The dragon said to the pup. All the overlying scents from both NPCs and other members of different clans made her not realize what Clan he was in. "What Clan are you in? I can't tell with everybody around. I'll probably smell like Thunderlands for days." She joked.

  • The turkeys would probably leave soon, to go migrate somewhere warmer. Riverclan would more than likely have extremely cold weather, and plenty of snow. Not something turkeys or any bird was fond of. So they weren't a pressing issue at the moment for Shining. Besides, he wanted to focus on more important things. Like, this ball, and the person that had invited him here. "Hey Lessa," the feline greeted back, his smile beaming joyfully. "Thanks for inviting me." Riverclan as a whole hadn't been officially invited to this event. Hopefully no one would mind- he wasn't going to cause trouble, or get in anyone's way.

"So, it seems we have two choices. Either we can dance-" And Lessa knew how Shining felt about his dancing skills. "-or we can eat. Your choice." The smell of all the different kinds of food was making him feel quite hungry, and he wouldn't mind a small snack or two. But if the pine marten wanted to dance a little first... Well, how could he ever say no to her?

He was very pleased that the SunClanner was friendly towards him and his fluffy tail started to wag before he wrapped it over his slightly dirty tan paws. It was a boost of confidence to continue on. "I'm from HawkClan! And heh, it's not so bad I suppose." Robbie added in response to her joke about the Thunderlands' strong aroma but he chuckled nonetheless. His black nose twitches as he sniffed the air lightly but intently and he cocked his head slightly to the right before saying, "You're from SunClan, right? How is it there?" He'd never really been outside of HawkClan before, well, at least to his knowledge. He must have been somewhere else before he ended up on HawkClan's territory but he had long accepted it was easier to not think about such things. Easier in fact.

  • ❝ I was broken from a young age ❞

Samuel was not much of a dancer anymore. Back in his youth, when he was carefree, yes he would’ve been dancing like a nut job. Now, not so much. Instead, the canine yawned, and sat down watching the rest of the clan dance and stuff their faces with food.

    "You make me a believer"

She was hardly feeling better, but she came around nonetheless. Not wanting to look like a complete wreck, she had actually groomed herself for the occasion. While she was sitting there, some kid started decorating her with glitter and started to make her some weird flowery... leafy thing. Of course, she couldn't tell this child to piss off, so she let him put his weird autumn, orangey flower bracelet thing up almost to her armpit. It felt like she was wearing a shirt with the sleeves too tight, except only one sleeve on her right arm.

Also, the glitter really didn't match her mood- it was kind of funny. You see this bored, tired-looking black feline sipping on a really dry red wine, and her tail is covered in sparkles. Eh, whatever, at least the child seemed happy. "Ah, kids." Soli chortled. The wine burned her throat(which was raw from coughing), but she liked a nice, dry red wine, so she would endure the discomfort.

  • As Lessa turned to address her date Shininglight, Calliope figured it best to do the same. Greeting her father with a little formal bow, she invited, "May I have this dance, Father?" A small giggle was followed, knowing how silly it sounded.

  • The panther returned the canine's bow and held out a paw for her. "Of course, darling," he offered back, a faint grin coming upon his maw; that was the most genuine smile he's given in awhile. "Let me show you how to dance the dance of the ages!" A laugh echoed hers. If she grabbed his paw, he would lower himself to the ground a bit to meet her height and begin to dance like a child. He wasn't so skilled. He was a freak in the bed, not on the floor. star no

As he rocked back and forth, his gaze shifted away from his daughter and met a familiar face. Darrel? Fragilepast gulped. His apprentice had disappeared a month ago or so and here he was, except with a differently outgoing personality. The vice-sovereign shook his head a little bit. Probably his mind playing a cruel trick on his senses. Instead his gaze returned and he continued what he was doing.

  • Due to misfortune he wasn't there at the beginning of the ball. Obviously he was late, Hawkclan left without him! But he couldn't blame them, he had the time wrong and was not organized. Truthfully, he had much on his mind, especially with the pressure of Lessa leaving. Everything was about her on the way here, and had no idea river clan would be attending the ball. He instead tried to focus on his appearance. He dressed up a tiny bit, looking more handsome then usual. He had a black bow tie that he outlined with neon coloured glowsticks, because why not. He also put on a sort of black cape thing and looked really cool! He refused to take of his other glowsticks so yes, he would be the literal neon disco ball in the middle of this formal ball. He tried to shoulder his way through the crowd, hopefully finding someone he knew or could have a conversation with.

Then his eyes spotted a familiar figure. It was hard to believe, especially since Lessa was such a little part of his life, but she was the one who taught him about healing. He felt healing was so much better then anything he could do. He never wanted to fight, and had mother to do, felt pitiful for himself that he couldn't help his clan in battle. But this female, helped others, and was the first one to teach him too. Lessa, its here, right there, in front of me. It was almost seconds that passed until he was running through the crowds toward the female he sprinted too lessa s. and gave lessa a big hug, giving her little to no time to react to his touch. His neon eyes would look up at the female with a smile spreading across his face, until he realized what he was doing and finally looked embarrassingly down at his paws. "M-m-ma'am. Its you! L-lessa h-hi!"

  • She accepted her father's hand graciously, stepping out onto the dance floor. The dog giggled as he lowered to meet her height, smiling widely as they began to sway back and forth. It amazed her how lucky she was to have a dad who cared this much about her, after experiencing such a hard life in the beginning. She truly did want this moment to last forever.

Oh two options, huh? Lessa's smile turned into a smirk, clearly amused. She did remember how Shine felt about his dancing skills. Really, he needed confidence and practice in said abilities and he'd be fine. The marten debated on the two. Was it better to wait or go ahead and grab some snacks. She wouldn't mind enjoying a good meal and just spending time with him really.

Before she could offer her verdict however, she was damn near tackled. It took quite some skill to startle a Jedi, so she'd give Ravelights that for sure. Lessa blinked rapidly, before smiling, a little overwhelmed. While she was a hugger, she was usually the one who did the sprinting into it. It was definitely an experience to be on the receiving end instead. "H-Hi," if she was honest, the fact HawkClan was here made her a little weary. She'd been focused on another,

"It's good to see you, Ravelights." Force. She realized, with a sharp pang in her chest that Shine might've felt something similar towards her, when he had to leave. If anyone had the aptitude to take over her work, it was, without doubt, Ravelights, she was sure of it. She had not meant to leave him so suddenly.

  • He would be confident in dancing had he had a chance to practice. Unfortunately, Lessa's invitation to this ball came on such a short notice. There was only time to prepare his physical appearance, not his skills on the dance floor. Maybe at some point in the future, the pine marten could show him how to properly dance. He definitely needed some pointers.

But the decision would have to be put on hold, for a moment or two. Something came whizzing past Shining's side, and the tom's eyes quickly snapped onto the form of a Hawkclanner semi-leaping onto Lessa. Well... less of a leap, more of a hug. Even Shine looked a little surprised by what had just happened- but there was also some amusement in his sky-blue eyes. The pine marten had greeted him with the name Ravelights. "Ah, a friend of yours, Les?" the winged feline asked, glancing towards her briefly before looking back at the Hawkclanner.
