  • Golds and reds warmed the clearing. A soft earthen ground was underneath, leaves outlining each end of the banquet. The middle of the clearing was empty for dancing, with the DJ playing a combination of musics. Over to the side were all the tables, overflowing with food. There were turkeys, hams, even some chicken and steak. Next over there was an abundance of side items: Cranberries, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, squash, stuffing, and miscellaneous stir-fried vegetables. And next to that were cookies, pies of every flavor, and drinks. From champagnes to wines to cider to juice, Calliope had covered it all. The decorations, too, were superb. Everyone had really gone all-out and she could not be prouder.

Beaming brightly at the coming together of her feast and ball, the bernese mountain dog lifted her head high and barked. "I would like to formally welcome you all to the Thunderlands' Fall Ball! I'm your hostess, Calliope Fantasia, and I would like you to thoroughly enjoy yourselves tonight. Later there will be a game or two, but for now, please go ahead and have the time of your lives!" Hopping down to join the crowd once again, she would allow for the mingling and excitement of everyone.

  • TIMELESS SOULS

As she'd volunteered, Frostbite was now responsible for manning the music. She stood behind a small table with her radio playing, one she'd saved that hooked up with her iPod. A mellow, instrumental piece was playing currently as guests began to arrive.

The vixen eyed the cookies nearby. She certainly had a sweet tooth- that's why she'd taken up baking. Although she had a job, the cookies just looked too good. She snuck over to grab a leaf-shaped one, hooking it on her claw, before padding back to the table. Munching, she addressed Callie. "Great job!" she complimented. Back when she was younger, she loved parties and such. Maybe she'd get back into that. Smiling, the angel enjoyed the atmosphere as people flooded in.

  • The next to arrive was the alabaster feline, her vibrant azure optics scanning the landscape and unfolding event around her. It was very beautiful, and much time was indeed put into the Fall ball. A gentle smile creased the female's facial features as she nodded to Callie. "It looks v-very pretty, you di-id good."

All Nymeria had was her flowercrown Butterflypup gave her on her birthday.

She wouldn't be dancing with anyone but Samuel if he came, but if not she would be

with her friends dancing, maybe. She wasn't found of dancing, she was embarrassed

about that. She never really done it in her life. But for now the canine would probably be

talking to others that weren't dancing just like her.

Frost saw her 'twin', and flashed the feline a smile. It seemed like guests were already arriving, which was good. The vixen also saw Nymeria, who looked a little left out. Frostbite decided to go over to her old friend. "Nymeria!" she beamed, padding up to the other canine. "The music is too good to be standing. Do you want to dance?" she offered, her old spark in her eyes as she hopped around the collie.

Nymeria grinned at Frostbite when she offered her to dance. This was a

friend who she wanted to spend time with so as much as she didn't like dancing she

wouldn't deny this from her, "Of course." she woofed, chuckling softly at her

    as she hopped around her.

  • NOBODY F*CKS WITH THE PEAKY BLINDERS.

    the thunderlands - newcomer - male - 21 moons

This wasn't exactly his sort of party. No, actually it definitely was not the kind of parties he enjoyed. Unless this festive little scene was about to descend into an entire night of heavy drinking and debauchery. Snagging a large bottle of rum from the table of drinks, the fishing cat moved himself to the shadowed edge of the party, silver eyes like sharp miniature moons in the dark, and popped open the bottle.

  • "You're gonna be way too hungover tomorrow, man." Said a smaller figure to Thomas, as the german shepherd puppy walked out of the shadows, black and silver fur almost lighting up in the ballroom's lights. Tiramisu was his.. Date?.. To the ball. He didn't really know what to think of it. They were just friends, right? Lucian noticed his adoptive mother, Nymeria, dancing with another clanmate whom he's never seen before. Maybe they were friends? Where was Samuel? Should he go out and wait for Tiramisu to arrive? She was sure late, maybe her legs were too small to carry her. He chuckled softly, a grin on his face.

  • Oh dear. It seemed a little bit like Haiiro had joined at an inopportune time. With a ball being hosted, he would have liked some friends to spend it with, but he'd hardly been here long enough to talk to anyone, much less make proper friends. It seemed he would have to either hide in the corner with sic bread rolls or put himself out there and try to talk to someone. Honestly, the second option seemed more like the him he wanted to be, and so the canine felt his way over to where Jayden spoke to Callie, offering a smile to both of them. "The food smells amazing," he said to Callie with an earnest expression, unable to make a meaningful compliment about the decor when he couldn't see it. Then, to Jayden, he asked, "How are you?" in an attempt to make at lest some sort of conversation so he didn't look like some loser.

He paused at the little child's remark, paw moving up to fix the cap on his head as his silver stare bore into Lucian. If the thing hadn't been a baby, he'd probably whip the razor-blade-embedded hat at him. Fuck; he wasn't used to having to control his temper. "If I hadn't been drinkin' since I was your age, you'd be right," responded Thomas calmly, taking a long sip from the bottle as if to prove his point.

  • The smell of meat was everywhere, and suddenly the male was regretting attending to fulfill his social needs. Had he have been younger he would've rejected a big event like this, the crows would've done him in, but seeing what it was like above the crowds, on a pedestal to address them all every single Friday, it'd certainly given Feliks confidence to face them head on... somewhat. The wolf could be found on the outskirts of it all, struggling to find anyone who wasn't preoccupied with other conversations. Despite his awkwardness, despite his desire to throw caution to the wind and nose dive into the turkeys, a warm smile still lingered on his face, taking the time to silently appreciate the decorations and effort. When had been the last time he'd participated in an event like this? Cartel had been too serious for it, he'd boycotted SunClan's on political reasons, BlizzardClan and BloodClan had been too boring for them, that meant it'd been at least a year. Ouch, no wonder why he had no clue how to approach anyone. "Look good," he mumbled to himself, sitting down to admire the tree he'd settled close to.

  • LESSA REN SOLO

Honest to god, Lessa was a wallflower, true and true, but life was easier with friends. The petite pine marten beamed up at the place, pleased to see the end result after the decorating committee was finished. She assumed allies were invited, but either way, she brought Shininglight , along as her 'date'. It was doubtful either of them saw this as... A date-date. She had a good idea on where they stood; best friends. Though Lessa was not sure she had ever had a best friend who's smile could turn her heart into a puddle.

Uncertain feelings aside, Lessa intended to enjoy the ball with her best friend. She didn't want to worry about anything else right now; she was tired enough and this was supposed to be fun. And Force knows, she wanted to give Shine a chance for a break too.

It was not ladylike to be late, but Tiramisu was still late due to... unspecified reasons. She entered the ball, staring briefly at the warm colors before going and standing near Lucian.“speech.”

  • Lucian let out a chuckle as he nudged his smaller friend, giving her a huge, soaking wet lick of friendly affection against her ear. "Come on, they're waiting for us. Fretta!*" The male used his first Italian word for Tiramisu, nuzzling her in the direction of the ballroom. Maybe they could dance a bit? He would like that. "Are you hungry, Tira? Thirsty?" He asked her, offering a small drink to the female. He could be a gentleman, too.

Calliope's features were shining at the turnout, pleased to see so many of her friends milling about with smiles on their faces, having a jolly good time. Bouncing down to join her fellow Thunderlandians, the knight spotted lessa s. by herself over by the wall. Deciding to help the RiverClanner feel more at home, she swiftly made her way over, voicing, "Hello! I hope you're having a good time - we're super excited to invite everyone!"

  • Fragilepast came up from behind Calliope and gave her a deep bow as he passed in front of her with a cunning smirk appearing across his lips. "Why," the father offered, "You look stunning. This event does too, but my daughter looks even better." Hint hint. If anyone was to lay a paw across his adoptive daughter, the shot gun would definitely be brought out. Perhaps he'd have to lay off... For now though, Calliope was his date to the dance, along with any other sibling of her that would come to the dance. However, Housewife was not around currently. So for now, it was just these two. If only Sekhmet was here, then perhaps he'd ditch the child to do something better, but for now he was too busy making his daughters feel important(for once).

  • Kai hadn't been sure if he would even show up here at first. Parties weren't really the place for people who had no friends and didn't intend on making any. Still, he had been keeping mostly to himself ever since he arrived in Thunderclan, only socializing one-on-one with a few clanmates. Plus, he had hosted last year's thanksgiving party, so it would be a nice little memory. The middle-aged cat had arrived and nabbed himself a bottle of wine- keep it classy for the party- and a plate of turkey and stuffing, and sat not far from the others to eat. His dark brown ears flicked as she announced the party and later games. "Woohoo." His voice sounded flat enough that it was unclear if he was being sarcastic or not. The idea of games was not exactly appealing, but for now he could consider actually trying to enjoy the main party.

  • Shining had been pleasantly surprised to hear that The Thunderlands was having a Fall Ball- he had only been to their camp once before, during a massive meet-&-greet of many faces that he honestly struggled to remember. So he was glad to take the opportunity to visit once again. However, the real surprise was the fact that Lessa had been the one to invite him. They had 'danced' together at Riverclan's Autumn Festival. And by 'danced' he meant 'swayed awkwardly to the music'. Not that he had minded- he preferred simple swaying over actually trying to dance. The tom might as well have four left paws.

Shine was unintentionally a minute or two late to the show- one of the wild turkeys had decided to keep him preoccupied from getting ready back home. But he had made sure he wasn't going to keep Lessa waiting. His fur was neatly groomed down and back- a rare sight to see, because the feline cared to 'look good'. Except now, of course. Adorned on his head was the blue flower crown that the pine marten had made for him months ago- he kept it in prime condition. Now, Shine wasn't exactly 'stunning' or had the looks that would sweep someone off their feet. But, he did have a smile that would light up anyone's world. It was hard to ignore.

The Captain stepped into the clearing, looking around for a moment as a few eyes wandered onto him. While he wanted to take the opportunity to meet some new faces and chit-chat, he had someone waiting for him. It didn't take him long to spot her on the sidelines, talking with a familiar Thunderlander. Quietly, the winged feline made his way over, waiting for their conversation to finish up, his eyes and smile focused on his best friend.

    lessa s.

  • She was only there for the food. She wasn't a social person, so she had no real interest in an actual ball. Of course, she went alone, not really giving a shit that she didn't have a date. She didn't need one, anyway.

Upon entering the ball, Harper was quick to pad over to the tables. She snagged a couple of cookies, some turkey, and a glass of apple cider. She shuffled off on her own, watching the rest of the people who were enjoying themselves. What suckers.

  • Finding herself caught in this mess, the feline approached and took a seat within the middle of the chaos. Perhaps there would be any recognizable felines here. Besides that Fragilepast douchebag... Why wasn't he dead yet? For now though, she kept to herself and sipped on whatever wine was available. There wasn't many here she knew. Even though she was rather outgoing, there wasn't much for her to do here. Perhaps a round in the pie-eating contest would do her some good.
