⋆ of course, team rocket is back - and better than ever! you are one of its many members; old, or new. grunt, or admin. what really matters is the team is back together! giovanni has returned, much to the happiness of all the members. he reforms his mafia - like following of gangers, holding them under the new alias of team rainbow rocket. with a fresh costume change and a new start, team rocket is bound to cause more havoc than they ever have before. already returning kanto and its neighbouring johto to their claw - like grasp, giovanni centres his newly reformed team's attention to the newly popular alola region. with enough manpower to do the job as he pleases, he seeks to take the islands for himself. much like back home in kanto, the rockets are looking to begin their black market dealing of pokemon - and their parts. as a member, it's your job to make this come true to the fullest. this project of giovanni's is the most hope you've had for your team in decades.
⋆ you've seen this all over the news recently, whispered among your friends. the dreaded team rocket have come to your region, and look to harm the region's pokemon for money. alola's own regional villain was easily wiped out by this newly formed team rainbow rocket, and you can't seem to hear enough about it! perhaps you've even sighted a grunt or two wandering through your town, searching out that pokemon they wish to get their hands on. no matter the consequences, the citizens can see the problem that's arising from the mafia - like organisation. you are one of many who seek to end their sudden reign of terror over your region. you aren't going to sit about, letting these fiends hurt the people and pokemon you know and love.

PERSONALITY
though young, his cold cut words and narcissism are obvious to any soul who speak to him. the man views himself as serving a worthy cause, and believes to be above others because of this. it's an often whispered discussion between his underlings, if he's ever once flashed a smile. though, his one ounce of in - obvious happiness is shined for his fellow admins; and his pokemon. the man isn't one for often useless chatter, usually deciding to respond to those he views as a useless cause with angered insults, or even just a scoff of disgust. he isn't afraid to spit venom, very calculated despite being quite easy to anger. for raine, there isn't much of an idea of having a fun time. his missions are his life, and he treats them as so. there's no other way to accurately describe him besides an all around shite heap of a human being.
HISTORY
raine has been running with team rocket since his younger years. as a child, his life was rather simple in the easy - going port town. his parents paid enough attention to him, and he was among the popular children in his grade school. on his seventh birthday, the local gym leader lieutenant surge, gifts him with his first ever pokemon. it's a pichu, who would later become his prized pikachu companion, pip. the boy's life continues on slowly, juggling both school and raising his pair of pokemon. though, no amount of training he offers seems to be enough. they fall below every radar, fail every tournament. a few solid months before his tenth birthday, the infamous team rocket flips the town on its head. raine is beyond interested in their antics, and the team is more than happy to see someone so young interested in their cause. to this point, everything seems to be going wrong for him. these people, he sees, don't look down to him. they see whatever potential he holds. he's cold, he's calculated, and he's a dirty cheater. it's just what team rocket is looking for. impressed by the boy, he's taken under the wing of grunts and high - ranking admins alike. yeas pass, and by the time he's sixteen, he's dropped out of school to run full - time with the mafia - like organisation. raine's life once again goes along simply, spending over a decade of his life working with the team before they finally collapse in johto. for once in his meager life; raine is afraid for the future. the man moves back to kanto, shunned by his own people. years stacked upon years pass, before their famed leader giovanni comes back with a new flare in his step. raine, along with his fellow members, are quick to return to their positions. when the newly dubbed team rainbow rocket arrives in the alola region, he's even offered the admin position. raine and his pokemon pridefully accept it.

a master of the electric typing, even more specifically the often weakly viewed pichu - line, raine has devised many cheap tricks through the years. many to most of his tactics involve cheating and dirty battling, the man going as far as to use illegal moves in the middle of a tournament. despite this, he cares very much for his pokemon, and isn't willing to put them in immediate danger; cheating or not.
