  • Due to the non-stop snow that had been invading the territory the past few weeks, a Thanksgiving feast would not be so pleasant. However, he was determined to celebrate the holiday. And so, he would have to get a little creative to make sure everyone could enjoy it and stay warm. And so, he decided he would do this under shelter - underneath a cave that stood beneath one of the territory's many cliffs. Inside, he would hang space-related lanterns, some shaped as stars and others as planets or moons. In the center of the lit ceiling would be a light the shape of the milky way.

He set up tables where the food would stay, placing small, contained fires around each table to make sure the food wouldn't get cold. He cooked up most of the food, with the help of some NPCs, but he was happy to cook it. He loved cooking. He, of course, would include the main dish of turkey that would be set on a table in the center of the cave, underneath the milky way. He had mashed and baked potatoes available next to the turkey, plenty of corn, and some hot dogs and hamburgers if others did not want turkey. On other tables there would be various foods such as salad, different pastas - the main being pumpkin fettuccine alfredo - and baked sweets, like cupcakes and cookies - the main, of course, being pumpkin pie.

He had a little campfire set up in the back of the cave, away from the tables so it would not be a fire hazard. After he threw around some glitter and put on a red bow-tie and black top hat, he decided it was finished. Now all that was left was for others to arrive.

  • Nocturne hopped in, refusing to fly because they were afraid to mess anything up. They had preened themself before arriving, so they hoped that they looked presentable. Well, being a bird, it was very important to them. Viewing the cave, the smell of food dominated their senses, and found their stomach growling. "This is amazing!" They wrote on parchment, showing it to Royalguard.

  • Nocturne had beaten him to the punch! Fernando approached the scene, taking a stop next to Nocturne and offered the raven a simple nod. His honey gaze shifted over to Royalguard seconds later, offering an imaginary eyebrow raise.. How impressive! The table before him was spectacular and every table was the same. Rather spectacular. The archmage was impressed thoroughly at the execution of the event and quickly wandered off to the nearest table to sit down. He'd wait for others to arrive before diving in. Needless to say, he was a sloppy eater.

  • "SUP BItc...."

The feline fell silent. Oh fuck. There was a formal event going on and it was the feast Royalguard informed her about. Perhaps she wanted a fun party instead of this, but she kept her mouth shut and wandered over to a table by herself in disappointment. Awkward.

//casually tracks w/ archi bc i also play fernando and i don't want to seem awkward by replying to myself

  • Acecard stifled himself from chuckling, deciding it was best to not humiliate his admiral. He joined Archi at the table, since the only other person he knew here was Royalguard. Huh, he needed to visit more often, being the ambassador and whatnot.

  • Next to join upon the scene Hiyori/Ashina, hearing Archi's outburst of almost saying 'Sup Bitches'- caused an giggle from the tortoiseshell feline. She shifted her bandanna into a more comfortable position before settling at the table, offering the various clan members a small smile. Thought the aroma of the scents were not distinct to the amnesiac female.

  • So many unfamiliar people were gathered here. But that was fine, this was fine, Harold was going to be fine. He could just sit by himself. There was no point in trying to bond with people, since he would leave eventually; he wasn't planning on being rude to anyone to avoid friendship, of course, he wanted to be nice - he'd simply try his best not to be noticed. He wouldn't mind company, if someone decided to join him, of course. But that seemed unlikely, and his Lemonheads were company enough.

Harold grabbed a plate, loading it with turkey and mashed potatoes, and headed towards the empty table closest to the campfire. After setting the plate down, he shook his hat off, but there were no Lemonheads. Okay, fine. He didn't need them. He could just sit alone. So he did, munching silently on turkey and candy cane while watching the others have fun.

  • JOHN, SKYWALKER

John wandered onto the scene, grimacing inwardly when a few heads turned to stare at his scars, the young leader knew they'd gather attention but he'd hoped a little less than that - still he was here now and hopefully a few of his clanmates would be arriving alongside him soon enough.

  • The group forming put an eager expression on his features, glad to see there were plenty of others who were interested. He prided himself in the food he made - he wouldn't lie. It was certainly one of his strongest skills. At Nocturne's compliment, he'd flash an appreciative grin. "Thanks, I try." He chucked to the bird, happy to see them out an about. With Fernando's seemingly impressed gaze, he'd feel a bit bashful. People were liking it! Hooray! And then Archi makes an entrance.

He couldn't help himself from chuckling at the female's introduction, waving his paw to her. He'd humiliate her all he wanted! Finally, the last three arrived. He did not recognize the first, however made a mental note to introduce himself personally soon. He liked knowing his allies! Of course he'd recognize Harold - the dude and his odd appearance was hard to forget. And, finally, John. He was glad to see the lion did decide to come, hoping this would be a good sign for what their Clans' relationship could be. He wanted to know his old home again.

However, this was not the time to think politically. It's a feast! "Welcome, everyone! Feel free to grab as much as you'd like; there's plenty." He'd call out to the others in a friendly voice before going off on his own. He would join the others at a table, deciding to look to Hiyori first. "Hey, I don't believe we've met! My name's Royalguard." He greeted in a polite manner, introducing himself in a charming voice. He wanted to make a nice impression on everybody!

  • "Mmmmm.. glad I came hungry!" the pale lioness plopped down beside Ferdinand, following his unspoken cue of waiting to eat. She didn't want to be the first to stuff her face, but Fauna wasn't sure how long she could wait. Her stomach gave a reproachful grumble.

  • // awkwardly brings lexi in here

The young deputy followed John closely, fearing he would be ripped away from her if she let him out of her sight. Shit - they had just gotten him back! The girl also kept an eye on the sky, knowing that her anxiety often showed in the weather. For now, it remained unchanged. "You hungry?" she whispered to John, feeling slightly nervous to be meeting all these new people.

He shifted his gaze to Elctric with a tip of his head "I haven't eaten in awhile, we could grab something now while there's less of a crowd" no doubt more would arrive and lexi's nervousness might be worse in a larger crowd trying to gather food - not to mention, more people to potentially startle at his scars.

THEY CALL KIDS LIKE US VICIOUS AND CARVED OUT OF STONE

If scars were a head turner, then I probably had a shit-load of eyes on me as I made my way into the cave. Toned muscle rippled beneath my shaggy coat as I shook the snow from my body, but if anyone was watching me I didn't care to notice. As I straightened up, smirk in it's usual place in my lips, I strode deeper into the cave on relaxed, almost casual paws to let red eyes admire the many decorations. Somewhere in the darker parts of my soul something stirred, wanting to associate the stars and moons with someone I refused to acknowledge, but I didn't let it. There was no time for that sentimental crap here, and even if there had been he wouldn't have been worth it. "Nice setup, Royal." I'd call before letting my nose take control. Man. I fucking loved food. Heading over to the table I'd grab a plate and help myself as we'd been told to do. Piling up turkey, buttered rolls, pumpkin pie, and mashed potatoes onto my plate, I'd pick a warm spot by the fire at the back of the cave and begin to munch as I waited for others to come join me so I could bug them with pointless social conversation.

PLEASE NOTE;; Fourthwall is known to break the 4th wall, as his name suggests. He is a person who -instead of gods or reincarnation- thinks that he is just a character made up in a story, and so nothing he says or does has any real consequence. This allows him to suppress emotions like guilt or hesitation in order to enrich his life, as he believes that nobody is actually real, and so none of the bad things he does to others in order to enjoy himself are real either. He will often refer to his 'Writer' during 1st person posts and complain about the way they write him or his story, and is convinced that the entire world and FF's reality is just some big story.

  • FUELLING THE FLAMES

Roman Sanders / BHR recruit / Male / click for bio & storage

*:・゚✦ Roman entered shortly after Fourth, the snow on his pelt already melting off and dripping onto the floor. The hellhound surveyed the room and smiled, the decorations and the atmosphere made it feel cosy. Noting who the Outlaw had given credit to, he made his way over to Royalguard (stopping to make idle chitchat with NPCs of course), "Might I say, the decorations are positively magnificent." The hellhound remarked, sitting down beside Hiyori. He wasn't nervous about talking to anyone else but why not start with the one who had set up the party in the first place? Besides, Roman was sure he'd get around to everyone by the end of the night.

    "Speech."

  • Dr Schneeplestein/BlackHeart Rouges/Male[♂]

*:・゚✦ Another BHR member would appear with a thin patch of snow coating the bottom of his labcoat, only allowing it to soon melt once inside the warm cave. The male's blue eyes would glance around towards the tables of food, having a sudden growl erupt from his stomach. Nevertheless Henrik thought it would be nice enough to greet the one who held this party, instead of going in and not even giving a thank you towards Royalguard. For once it appeared Henrik actually gave a true smile as he sat down a short distance away, waiting for the time to give his own greeting...There was a time for everything and right now. Schneeps didn't want to dwell all around fourthwall, maybe because he was nervous on being accused on dealing dice with that devil.

Which would make good sense on how he was practically stepping on eggshells up until they strolled into the cave. "This is quite amazing, It's nice to have time to relax"Finally speaking up to separate from the creatures seeming to begin coming in, after the medic thanked the host he'd go back and sit near one corner of the room. Waiting until a few more people gathered plates and began eating before himself, now that was just a little thankful for this feast to come.

  • Astral would arrive behind the string of other Rogues, catching Royalguard's last words and offering him a polite smile, lined by an intense excitement for the food before them. "Mm, don't mind if I do," she chuckled, making a beeline behind Fourth to reach the section with the turkey, and then seating herself to admire the decorations into which their hosts had clearly put a great deal of effort, "it looks wonderful." Feasts were something that she could certainly appreciate, more so than parties despite the added bonus of alcohol. They just had too much noise, while feasts turned to the aspect of socialising and speech instead of the mess of dancing. They were relaxing and pleasant, really.
