Personality

A silent individual, he isn't known to give his opinions on many things. He likes to keep to himself and raise his Pokemon, as he's always dreamed of being an all around exceptional trainer. Matt likes to raise weak Pokemon to their full potential, starting off when they are their first stage or hatched. He has a deep care for his partners, as Pokemon have helped him his whole life. However, this often makes him critical around people or trainers. He is socially awkward and quick to judge, and doesn't like being around others too long. This is why he had trouble at first on his journey. He's slowly working to bite his tongue at times, but you still may receive a snide remark or two.

History

Originally he lived in Unova, in Black City, but he had trouble adjusting to such an urban place. The noise there was constant and the sky always seemed dark, so he didn't go out much. He often just played with a Burmy he found in his room one day. The family was trying to start their cafe here, but was easily overlooked. As time went on, everyone in the family grew unhappier. One day, they saw a commercial for the Kalos region and set their minds to make enough to move their. Once they made enough and arrived in Lumiose City, Matt worried that it would just the same as it was in Unova. However, it was less dark and bustling, and instead people lived and worked with their Pokemon. He grew much happier as years went by in Kalos, working with their family's Miltank, Gothorita, and Tepig to help in the cafe. He heard stories of trainers on their journeys here, inspiring him to try and go on his own quest. As soon as Matthias turned ten, he requested his parent's permission to go and explore Kalos with his Mothim. After much debate, they agreed as long as he stayed in touch, and the rest was history. He's been spending his time exploring and raising Pokemon, silently wondering if he should challenge the league someday.

They don't mind people, but will observe from afar and while concealed. If discovered, they will use their ability to erase memories then flee.

History

The being said to bestow knowledge onto people, Uxie has been around for eons. They hide away to keep from their power falling into the wrong hands, however it has happened in the past. Thankfully, an anonymous trainer freed it and the other members of the Lake Trio. Now, Uxie is much more apprehensive around people and Pokemon alike.
