Personality: The labor of love that in turn gives love, Aiken can be described in one word by men and one word by women. To his fellow man, he is "brother", to women, he is "sweetheart". He is quickly becoming a man's man and a heart throb to women. Despite his seemingly perfect life, the young man is humbled by respect for his father's legacy and his mother's charity. He is a great lover of all life, as his mother was. He works well with children and is a very open minded individual. Adventurous and curious, he himself has a feral spark in his eyes that embodies eternal youth. A true trailblazer, Aiken's lessons since birth have translated into a bright flame that grows brighter as it burns a bright path toward an unknown frontier, lighting the way of not only himself, but all those alongside him.

History (Optional): Aiken was the fruit of love, nurtured to its fullest with all resources in plenty. His mother was from a wealthy family while his father served as a rider. His father's rugged looks and charm combined with his mother's beautiful eyes and compassion formed a fire-aligned man spawn like no other. From the earliest of years, he learned to wield all manner of weapons. Sadly, his father's skill with a lance was not passed on to him; instead he preferred the bow, a weapon that was reluctantly accepted by his father, on the condition Aiken make it efficient while flying. One of the few able to strike a flying target while he himself is flying, Aiken trained constantly in strength and endurance, all the while learning the efficinecies of his weapon. At the age of 25 he was named Höfðingi. His relentless skill and prowess in the sky, backed by his father's legacy made him an ideal candidate. For six years, he has helped lead wings of riders into battle. All the while, his name was made known amongst his brother and sister riders, and adored by many amongst the elemental realms, most specifically those of which humans inhabited. Now, at the height of his life, Aiken has become adventurous in his free time, traveling to the elemental realms when he is able. Not just to explore the realm of course, but its people for he desires new experiences, not just for himself, but for the one he might entrust his heart to.

Personality: Velkhan, despite his ancient reputation as a savage fire dragon, has become humbled with centuries of experience, though the most life changing were with the blood of Varshelm. To him, it was not just their ferocity in combat he admired, but also their control over such impulses. As he aged and fought alongside each Varshelm generation, he'd come to realize that he too sought control over such impulses. Velkhan now is a very humble dragon, just like his many comrades in battle. He is more nurturing in his teachings of the young Varshelms, but his short patience still cannot be denied. Despite these traits, he is loyal to the Varshelm bloodline and all they have done and stood for. He sees each generation not as a child of his first master, but an reincarnation, one he will lay his life down to protect. As far as his own personal interests goes, Velkhan enjoys something few dragons do: talking. Of course, although the subject of interest may extend or shorten the conversation, nevertheless, he finds himself speaking to humans about human culture, psychology, and their so called studies of "science" and "magic", whichever he finds the least chaotic.

History (Optional): Velkhan, once a tempermental and savage beast has been humbled by almost a century of service alongside Aiken's father. The two had a powerful synergy, something that was then transferred to Aiken when he was born. When Aiken's father died in battle, Velkhan shut young Aiken out, fearing that he would lose his partner's spawn as easily as he had lost him. However, he came to realize with age his selfishness and the lack of a father figure in Aiken's life. Thus, through Aiken's own growth, the great fire dragon came to learn the value of life just as Aiken has. And, as Aiken's father and Velkhan had, the his son now shares the same bond.

Personality: Jophiel is aligned with the star sign Aquarius, if those were used in this RP universe. But, if not, the only thing to derive from this fact is that he is essentially very unpredictable. The boy has no routine in anything he does and is more comfortable in the torrent of organized chaos, something that only few beings can do. To him, there is order that can be found, even in the most hectic of situations and scenarios. He is often very quiet, yet cogent, augmenting his unpredictable tendencies. He is very reticent with emotions, as he feels it as a weakness and would rather not make himself vulnerable (however, his master has got this unspoken language down pat). In combat, he loves mind games, his entire neutral(gaming term for approach strategy) focused solely upon outplaying his opponent psychologically. He enjoys speaking in private, a way he can outlet his emotions and frustrations from the day. And, lastly, he is quick to make friends, but sadly, is difficult in his ability to confess sincere emotions, such as love.

History (Optional): Jophiel was entrusted to Aiken, an orphan rescued from slavery from one of his excursions. The boy was very quiet, as he is now, but was very very much so, even in the presence of Aiken. And, when he found out the impact Aiken had amongst the dragon riders, his reticence grew even stronger. For he thought, how could such an insignificant soul like him compare to someone with an ancient pedigree and centuries of reputation and lineage? Aiken, however, saw one thing that he felt was most in common with the otherwise backwards boy: his feral spirit. Alike Aiken, Jophiel had a wild side, though it only showed itself in the most desperate or most vital of situations; the first instance happened to occur when Aiken gave Jophiel food. Aiken then took it upon himself to raise the 12-year-old child into the growing young man he is today. Although he had only recently taken an interest in dragons, the boy had many years of private study, albeit unassociated with dragons. He was interested in sorcery. He trained in weapons and combat, but his slender frame and sub par strength and endurance did not align well with Aiken's regimen - on the bright side, however, he was rather quick with his reflexes and was very sharp minded. His technique was always flawless as well, but, yet again, his ectomorphic build limited his ability gain mass. Now, closing in on his first year as a fully fledged rider, Jophiel has yet to find a partner suitable enough for him, and Aiken is working to find one for him.
