  • It had taken some time to carry the energetic children from one clan to another, but eventually Luca had made it. It felt odd to be back in HawkClan after so long, and he was almost tempted to step right over the familiar border. He doubted that'd help with his current objective though, so he took to waiting like the good boy he was. "Here you go," he said to the siblings, waiting for them to detach from him and scamper back off to their homes. "Try not to run off again, kay?" He attempted to confirm with the children, tail swaying as he waited for someone to come across him. As much as she didn't want to see him, he had unfinished business with Littlestar. There was something he had to ask. Technokit and Milekit getting lost in ShadowClan territory was a good opportunity for him to travel back to HawkClan without so much conflict, so he took it. Although, somehow he still felt like this was all going to go to shit. He ground his teeth together and sat, curling his tail around his paws.

  • The hypogriff child gave a small smile as he spotted his friends... with a stranger who didn't smell like HawkClan. hesitant, wonder tilted his head. "Did you guys go on an adventure? Who's this?" he asked, golden gaze full of curiousity. Did they get lost like wonder had in stormclan? he had to guess so, his eyes trailing from the male to the other children, his tail wagging slightly.

  • Luca was never a feline to be taken lightly in the small toms mind. Although, rave had never truly met he knew he was the leader of shadowclan and the person who go Littlestar, his leader pregnant. Now, Littlestar never intended to get pregnant, which is why he was disgusted by the idea of Luca in general. What horrible feline would do that to another, especially a lady. He would never even try something like that, even though he was truly unaware about how kids we’re produced. So with narrowed eyes and a disgusted frown he would peer at Luca, actually trying to stare him down. He carefully watched Littlestars kids, making sure he wouldn’t hurt them and would try to signal for the kids to come to him instead. Obviously he didn’t trust Luca with the littlest of things. "Thank you for the children" he would say, a rude tint casting in his voice. It was hard to be cruel because he was such a nice soul, but for the safety of any other females in his clan he had to be rude. “Although, your presence here is no longer needed. Good day.” he would say with a slight turn of his head and a wave of his paw. Hopefully he got the tint of him being rude. Although for now he would watch the children with caution hoping they would be colored to him then there father. Why wouldn’t they be? They knew Ravelights better.

        i swear i lived

Who was this? The guy sure did look... Odd, with his pink eyes and tail. Poe approached the small assembly, heading towards Technokit and Milekit immediately. Why did this guy have them? Had they run off? Poe stared at the stranger, finding him a little familiar and yet not all at once. He smelled of ShadowClan, and... Hmm, in fact, Lit's kids had a sort of resemblance. Was this the person that had gotten her pregnant? A bit of hostility rose up in the pilot, but the guy hadn't don't anything bad yet. Maybe he'd changed; he brought the kits back, after all.

"Thank you," He told the ShadowClanner warily, nodding towards him. Whoever he was, he had done a good thing. "Are you two alright?" The question was directed at Miles and Techno, Poe looking them over with narrowed eyes. He couldn't hear Rave or the others, and, heck, he wouldn't even be able to hear the kits answer him (if they did), but he spoke anyways.

  • Luca really didn't need that attitude. The first one was fine enough, just a child himself. "Who's this?" He asked, and Luca butted in to answer for himself. He was an adult, he didn't have to rely on children to introduce him. Besides, had he even told the kids his name? "I'm Luca Kagamine, no one important," he said, squeezing his body with his unnatural tail. Luca held little to no opinion on the guy, which was a good thing considering Luca's usual opinions. The second one to arrive though? Oh, he fit the bill perfectly, sauntering over like he knew everything, acting all dismissive like he could actually tell the hellhound what to do. Luca fixed Ravelights with a blank gaze, staring at him silently as he tried to stop himself from threatening the guy at the spot. 'Watch yourself'. But he didn't say anything. He was trying to be a good boy, after all. Still, maybe staring at the guy with an all-consuming emptiness wasn't the best option either. So slowly, he smiled. "I'm sorry sir, I have to talk to your leader," he replied robotically, everything about him disposition so awfully unnatural. The fake smile, the blankness of his gaze. He didn't care about this random HawkClanner and it was obvious. Even less than that, every fibre of his being was telling him to teach this mortal a lesson. He wanted him beneath his paws, crying, begging-

Oh, but that was a little dark. Again, Luca was trying to be a good boy. No dark thoughts for him, no sir! He was as pure as a sweet summer love. "I don't mean any harm, I-I swear! If i wanted trouble I would'a brought a patrol, or held the kids for ransom, or something," he added, ears flicking back as he blinked bashfully at the HawkCanner. He had to know if the children were his, and he was not about to leave without an answer. He knew Littlestar had been acting weird ever since their encounter, and it seemed like too much to be mere coincidence. He had to know. He wasn't going to let it end like it did with John. He opened his mouth again, but paused at the arrival of Poe. Ah, now that was a face he hadn't seen in a long time. Unfortunately, the guy didn't seem to recognise him. How sad. Luca wouldn't blame him though, he was in a new body now and it had been oh so long since they had last come face to face. "No problemo, Poe," he answered with a wink, completely unaware that he was deaf now. Another unfortunate thing. Poe's life was full of woe. Now that's poetic.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ The dark grey tabby bared her teeth as soon as that smell registered. It was familiar and it was disgusting. She resented the smell. Her claws furrowed into the ground and she whipped her head in the direction of the noise, pondering on the reason as to why he was here. She'd never forgotten it- the day she'd woken up in ShadowClan. Her body ached, especially the lower half of it, and he was equally as shocked as her. At first the female had been horrified and her mind went to the darkest of places.. what did Luca do to me? But then she smelt the alcohol on his breath, if faint, and she remembered her own mistake. It hadn't been like that. Even if she hadn't wanted it, she hadn't... well.. it was hard to explain. Alcohol really was a son of a bitch. "I'm Luca Kagamine, no one important," Familiar- that was what she told her kids. Were they..? No, they better not be. The small tabby picked herself up, distracting herself from her own dark thoughts, and hurried forwards only to see Miles and Techno moving away from Luca. Her golden eyes widened in shock and her eyes went to Luca. He let them go too? Why is the son of a bitch pretending he's nice?

Littlestar regained herself quickly, shaking surprise from her pelt and briefly shooting a firm glare at her two kids, golden eyes then narrowing at Luca. "I'm here. Talk." Despite the confident and icy cold tone she'd adopted, her heart was beating at a rabbits pace, suddenly fearing the question at his lips. Not in front of everyone. But it might not be and she had to be confident. Even if she didn't feel it. She remained standing, claws at the ready to lunge at his throat. She hadn't forgotten the things he'd done to HawkClan in his leave; harming a clanmate, throwing a rotting body in the lake. He hadn't done any good. He could've just left peacefully, even if it was to an enemy clan. But he had to take it that bit further. And for that, she fucking hated him.

  • And there was the girl of the hour, looking just as angry as she was the day he left. He felt the anger radiating from her skin, and he had to try hard to keep his emotional manipulation from absorbing it. Emotions were awfully contagious, especially the negative ones, and Luca felt like a single drop of wrath would make him spill over the edges of his cup. That wouldn't do at all, not with what he was trying to accomplish. He looked up and caught her gaze. Luca, too, found himself back there, heart thrumming with confusion and suspense as he roused himself from sleep. He didn't know what had happened, but he knew the end result. Did she remember something he didn't? Is that why she looked at him with such hatred? Or... had that always been there? Sometimes Luca lost control. Sometimes he did bad things. Bile rose in his throat as he considered what might have happened that night, but he forced it down with the same tired smile he'd shown her during the raid. Pretend like you meant for that to happen. It makes you look less pathetic if you own up to it.

"Littlestar," he greeted, using her full name for the first time in forever. His voice was lacking any of the joking, flowery tones he usually laced his voice with. Without them he sounded dead, flat, but anything else would have been inappropriate. He opened his mouth, and then snapped his jaws shut. He was suddenly aware of his surroundings. HawkClanners crowded around them, and his super senses were sure that he could hear the other leader's heartbeat drumming relentlessly against her rib cage. Was that anger, or was it something else? He shifted, obviously conflicted. He often felt that way when it came to HawkClan. He decided to settle with a compromise. He always did. "I think you know what I'm going to ask," he said, something akin to resignation settling along his words. "I um- just need a yes or no answer... please." He ground the last word out from between his fangs, unblinking in his eye contact as he stared the scarred fem down.

It was true; He could have left peacefully. But he didn't. After all, if his goodbye was pleasant, would Littlestar have even remembered him?

    He doubted it.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ Nowadays, smiles made her nervous. She'd seen far too many that had promised something other then what it was supposed to do. Inu had smiled right before Yuu's dog, Kuro, had ripped him to shreds and murdered him in front of her. Lessa had smiled when she'd exiled her. Both had been tired, dead smiles. Just like Luca did then. It was something small but the smallest things often times ended up being the biggest. She narrowed her eyes at the familiar smile, flashes of Inu's body, Mercy's body, Lessa's sad face, Shine's hopeful eyes, they all reflected in her mind. She was a walking, living, breathing bomb, wasn't she? What kind of creature turned smiles tired and sad? Because that was all that she did. She made people sad and she wore them down to the bone with her ranting and her scratching and her crocodile tears. Sometimes they deserved it, yeah. People that hurt her and people that hurt her innocent friends. But Shine? Lessa? Inu? Mercy? They never deserved what she gave them and no matter how many times her own mind reminded her that two of them were traitors and the other two were dead, she could not and would not get rid of that guilt.

So when she saw that sad and tired smile line his lips- his bastard, disgusting lips- her face fell slightly and her chest gave way to a wave of sadness. Something she didn't think capable to feel for a traitor. But she did. DON'T. She warned herself and that narrowed golden eyed look was back as he spoke to her. His tone, flat and lacking the sickly sweetness it usually held, unnerved her. Silently did the female urge him to be annoying and agitating and slippery like a snake. She couldn't stand to see smiles that hurt and a tone that was flat. Littlestar forced her eyes off to the side, lip curling, mostly aimed at herself. Empathy was often felt with victims of childhood trauma and people who'd been scarred to the degree she had and was.. but never did she feel empathy for enemies. And yet here I am. "I think you know what I'm going to ask," Her cold eyes moved back to him, knowing that he knew the question in her mind. He saw it in her just as she saw it in him. She gritted her teeth. "I um- just need a yes or no answer... please." He really wants to know. Why? What will he do for these kids if he knows? Hurt them? He doesn't seem the dad type at all. He won't do jackshit for them. If they learn who their father is, they'd only be broken. I don't want my kids to be broken and there's a high chance he'd tell them who he is. But.. it feels wrong to lie. I shouldn't feel that way- all he's ever done to me is screw me over, hurt me, hurt my people. That's all he's ever done.

Littlestar nods. That's all she will give, a small, hesitant nod, golden eyes staring back at him, unflinching. Then she straightens up and jabs her paw at the direction that leads away from HawkClan. Her commands are clear, her eyes are not. She stares off into nothing even though she's looking right at him.

  • Luca felt like he never smiled anymore. He hadn't since he was a kid. That toxic, slimy thing he usually wore was no smile. It was more a threat, something to show people that he was strong and confident and that no one would be able to make him feel small ever again. But then, as he stood there and watched the subtle nod of her head, he was sure that he hadn't felt so miniscule in centuries. He couldn't quite name the feeling writhing in his gut, the one that made him want to bury himself beneath the earth and disappear. Perhaps it was shame, perhaps guilt. Emotions he never wanted to feel as long as he lived. But he'd been feeling them a lot lately hadn't he? Luca wasn't expecting to feel like he did as he watched his son get tortured. After all, they had never interacted before. But Luca had given birth to him, he had smiled genuinely, so tenderly at the little cub when he had been born. Thinking back to it made the ground sway beneath his paws. He did that, he did that to a child and he was the very person that he hated.

Perhaps that's why he couldn't match Littlestar's gaze any longer. She was unflinching; He was not. Luca's line of sight fell to his paws. He did that. He did that. "Oh," he breathed, the words hollower than his eyes. He'd have to do it again. He looked back at the two children he'd found on his territory, and he pictured their bloody bodies beneath his paws. His children were all he had left. Sango was gone, Kiipcha was gone. He only had them; they were the only people left in the world with the potential to love him like family should. Littlestar was directing him away now, and Luca sat statue still for a second before slowly unfurling his tail and swaying to his paws. He told himself that he had already known the answer, but Littlestar's reaction, her emotions, hurt him more than he was expecting. God, things were never easy.

He looked away from the kids and back up at Littlestar. That... couldn't be it, right? Or was this going to be his punishment. Would she keep his children from him because of what he'd done? Her empty stare were the same as his. The same. The same. The same. He was having a crisis right there on the enemy border, and the only thing he could think to do was gamble on the girl's trust that they both knew he didn't deserve. "Littlestar, I... I still need to talk to you. Somewhere more private," he began, scuffing at the dirt. "You owe me a favor, right?" He half-joked, tone lacking any potential humour. He let out something that may once have been a laugh and took one step back. Two steps back. And then he was gone. Again. He didn't dare try to catch another glimpse of his kids. He was afraid of the hatered he'd see in their eyes. So he turned and trotted off into no man's land, teeth digging into his lip hard enough to draw blood.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ Littlestar liked to make herself feel bigger. She'd been small all her life. Not just in a physical sense but in the way that everyone else was more powerful and always held something over her. When she'd been a kitten, Blindfold had taken her innocence, scrunched it into a paper ball and shredded it with his claws. He'd smashed her face in to what it was today, a useless jaw bone that hung off to the left side and made her mouth open on the right side, tongue often slipping out. It rendered her ugly and made her think daily of how fucking disgusting she was- inside and out. So making herself feel bigger, by demeaning her enemies and hurting them. It wasn't just for power, of course. Most of the time it was anger and vengance and justice.

His hollowness was so relatable it damn hurt. The dark grey tabby bit her tongue, golden eyes squinting at the pain. What was he thinking? Was he angry? At himself? At her? Sad? She didn't know, she couldn't tell. Littlestar watched him lower his eyes and speak up again, face still. "Littlestar, I... I still need to talk to you. Somewhere more private," It was odd. How she couldn't quite tell if he was being genuine or not. He had always seemed like a snake to her, decieving people wherever he went. But it seemed real. Do I trust him? Trust was stupid. She had to follow her gut. Littlestar didn't respond but she made up her mind, not reacting to his little joke. She watched him, his eyes clearly averting the kids. She felt twinges of something and then he was gone and she felt the same as before- empty and angry. The Monarch exhaled and turned away, gesturing at her kids to follow her back into main camp.
