sun wants to be a medicine cat apprintice

    sun woke up and saw that the sun was coming up she went towards the medicine den again but didn't go in because she didn't know when the medicine cat woke up or if she was collecting herbs or not and her mother said cats didn't like it when other cats went hear there nest when they wern't there

    Maplepaw was at the fresh-kill, nosing around the selection of prey. She eyed a mouse, knowing that she was too hungry to eat only one. There was a rabbit as well but it would be too large of a piece of prey for just her. The young WindClan apprentice looked around the camp clearing. Maybe she'd find someone to share breakfast with.

    sun smelled another cat and looked around she saw a cat by the fresh kill pile looking at a mouse and rabbit she walked up to the cat "are you going to eat both of those" sun asked confused she wondered whatrabbit tasted like she had only tasted mouse and vole since she had been brought to windclan yesterday "what does a rabbit tast like is it good" sun asked

    "No," Maplepaw shook her head. "You've never tasted rabbit before? Great StarClan! You're missing out; it's delicious." The tortoiseshell used her mouth to grab the rabbit and drop it in front of the she-cat. "Here, try some."

    sun took a bite of the rabbit "wow this is even better mice" she took anither bite and chewed savering the tast of the rabbit

    "It is!" agreed Maplepaw. She bent down and took a mouthful of the fresh-kill. After swallowing the meat, she licked her lips and sat back up. "Why have you never tasted rabbit before? You're a WindClan cat, aren't you?"

    sun shook her head and started to shake in fear"no i was born in what my mom called a barn one day we had to leave because upwalkers came she tried to get my littermates but they took her to it was scary this is only the third time i've tasted fresh kill mom couldn't show it to me before she was taken the upwalkers don't come hear do they i don't want them to get me to" sun got scarred she couldn't help it when the upwalkers came it scared her she still had nightmares about it

    "Don't worry," said Maplepaw, placing the tip of her tail on the she-cat's shoulder. "You're safe here."

    "its hard to remember that i'm hopeing to put it behind me though when i'm an aprintice hopefuly for a medicine cat i already know some of the herbs that are use sun stood up proud at her knowledge "i don't know why but being a warrior doesn't feel as right as being a medicine cat does" sun mewed forgetting about her nightmares as she thought of her greatest dream

    "There's already a medicine apprentice here, but I've heard of some of the other Clans having multiple medicine cat apprentices," meowed Maplepaw, smiling when she spoke her next words, "So I'm sure you have a chance." She had met a lot of cats who thrived to become medicine cats. Maplepaw did not understand why. She much preferred hunting and fighting over learning herbs and healing.

    "After we eat maybe you can talk to Oceanpaw," suggested Maplepaw as she bit a second piece out of the rabbit. She paused to swallow the freshkill, then said, "Even if you cannot become the medicine cat apprentice you can probably help out in some way."

    "i don't know about that i donn't think i could be a warrior i'm not brave enough especially if i ever saw an upwalker again just their scent pulls me back into that horrible fear so bad that i would flee"sun said sad she hoped desperatly that she could be a medicine cat

    "Two-legs don't come around here very often," said Maplepaw. "In fact, I've never even seen one before. What do they look like?"

    sun shudered "they walk on two legs and have fur only on their heads there pink and they smell trust me you don't want to see one they might take you away or hurt you like with my family" sun was sunk into the horrible memory and crumpled to the ground in fear and greif

    Maplepaw shivered. "They sound so... ugly." Her giggles filled the air at the thought of hairless animals moving on two legs. How bizarre, she thought to herself.

    "no don't take them " sun yelled she was trapped in her memories and she couldn't make them go away
    "mom don't go" she yelled again the memory was so vivid she thought she was there


    ooc: she has been trumatized from the twolegs so she now has a strong fear like a human when they get trumatized mentioning them brings back that memory but she will learn to control it when she's an apprintice

    The WindClan apprentice's face dropped from an amused grin to a worried frown. "Are you okay? Want to go inside the apprentice den? Maybe you need to rest," she suggested.
