  • whirlkit was sick and tired of being stuck in camp all day. when would he finally get his apprentice ceremony? sure, he caused a lot of trouble, and many would label him as immature, but the only reason was because he was so utterly bored that all he could do was turn to mischief and pranks. at this rate i'll be an elder before i'm a warrior! the young tom thought gloomily.

the injuries from his little escapade had almost healed, and he was itching to explore again. if only there was a warrior around who could take him on a walk.

  • As much as he hated to admit it, Cloudgaze was having a hard time leaving his warm nest in the warrior's den. It was growing increasingly cold with each passing day, and despite his thick, white fur that would keep him cool and camouflaged in leafbare, he still despised the cold. Deciding that he'd stayed in his den far too long and that he needed to do something productive with his day, Cloudgaze slowly exited the warrior's den, shaking a piece of moss off of his paw.

Once he had emerged, Cloudgaze paused to listen, standing still like a sturdy, tall tower. His ears and smell did the seeing for him, since his eyes were two hazy orbs of blue and virtually useless except for making him look somewhat normal. He padded forward, being careful not to step on tails or paws of others. Eventually, he sensed that someone was right in front of him and stopped just in time before he managed to make someone upset at him. He sniffed the air and identified the figure as Whirlkit, the troublemaking almost-apprentice.

"Good morning, Whirlkit," he greeted with a sheepish smile, trying to ignore the fact that he'd almost stepped on the younger tom.
