"I felt as though..I was in a good place to do it." He watches. Similar to her case, he can only watch. "They're happy now. I am...more or less..happy."
Hes really trying to keep it together but he's slowly falling apart piece by piece.
"But you know I can't be happy without you. Not entirely."
He pauses. The clocks stop suddenly. He could swear to just about anything that he felt her hand for a brief moment.
"Not unless I know for certain that you are..if not alive..then well."
Steady ticks. He tries for her. The woman who hasn't changed. Who still looks as beautiful as the day she had met her.
"Please. I know you've been gone but..its okay." He nods briefly. He understands. He has to be the bigger person here. Or at the least stand a little taller.
...
And a sad part:
"I understand this. I've seen them before." Wilson knows they're not real. But he can hear his sister or what he assumes is his sister's voice. "She's told me a few things before." He sounds cold.
