  • hey guys, i'm semi-back. sunday was my birthday and then right after i got another terrible cold :/

    (sorry for the one-liner

    Loren stood infront of the glass, her blue eyes looking beyond the glass and into the woods.

    Noah nodded quietly trying not to brood. The whole situation was upsetting and he honestly wasn't sure how he should feel about everything that happened. The man fiddled with his necklace before heading up with Anna following the adults. Grown ups were stupid fighting all the time. He wasn't sure how he felt about everyone right now

    Tucked her hair behind her ear scooping up more goodies to eat while they all watch movies. The stress of everything was getting to her as her bones ached and her bun in the oven fidgeting around. She would be having the child soon and she was worried about how this would all unroll.Shaking her head to focus again she started up after the children humming happily to create a warm atmosphere.

    Kari pic

    Kari cheered loudly at the prospect of movies and food. She had filled a bottle with her favorite drink before nodding to Bedda and scrambling after the kids excitedly. "So what are we watching?" The woman sang acting very childish. Part of her thought about wanting to go back down but considering all the drama she might be done with adulting right now. Besides, who didn't enjoy being a kid at times?

    Daniel pic

    His teeth were grit as he forced himself faster and faster with anguish in his chest. Never would he allow himself such a weakness like he had. It was crushing, and it was clear that to protect himself he just would not open up again. All anyone does it b*tch and moan and his head was screaming in annoyance. The man wanted to put his fist through a tree but if he were to injure himself he would never hear the end of it. His teeth ground harder as his paws dug into the earth urging him faster.

    { Sorry for the delayed reply guys... I've been diagnosed with pneumonia... }

    Miah heard Bedda's question, but simply remained silent. All he could think about was the splintering pain that pierced his skull with every movement now. The pain medication did seem to be helping, though he didn't expected them to after the heated fight that had occurred. The adrenaline seemed to push away the relief he was hoping to gain.

    That's when the world started to spin. Jeremiah held his head firmer, blinking as he attempted to make everything stop turning. But that was useless. As everything spun, his stomach started turning with it. In one shift motion, Miah was no longer sitting at the base of the tree, but was rather on his hands in knees. Anything he may have had in his stomach was now in the tall grass, leaving a vial taste in his mouth. Images of the sickness that took Alex and Harlow flashed in his mind.

    I can't be sick, he thought as he wiped beads of sweat from his forehead. At least not that sick... He shook his head and tried standing, stopping as he attempted to collect himself. I'm not sick. I'm just stressed. He spoke to himself over and over, building up a false confidence against the truth that he knew deep down. Fear threatened to arise as he thought of the sickness that could be threatening him in the very moment.

    Andrew was happy to see that Noah agreed to go up, following behind the group. He noticed how happy Kari seemed to be acting, though Andrew simply went back to his reserved and quiet self. He glanced towards the door that Jeremiah had left through, seeing Bedda heading out as well. Her hands are wrapped. Andrew knew well enough that the female was going to train.

    He sighed lightly before he continued up the stairs, taking a seat nearby. He sat back in a chair nearby and tried to relax, though his mind was analyzing the fight that had gone down, and the events that had taken place just before. Everything seemed to be spiraling and he feared the worse.

    (ooc: I started my new job today and should be doing morning shifts which is 6am to 2:30pm EST tomorrow and probably Saturday, and whenever scheduled those hours, so I'm up at 4:30am EST lately and my replies will slow until my lunch around 10am or when I get home around 3:30pm (if I fall asleep it won't be till the evenings). I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm not ignoring y'all, I just don't have a lot of energy to write a lot when I can't stay awake.

    Rose, Hun, you get better and take your time with replies. Your first priority is you, not the site. I'm sure we all understand ^^)

    Despite the anger in her veins for herself and him, mostly herself, when the prick of fear just licked at their still open private link, Bedda felt her own pain as her knuckles split against the punching bag out in the back. Her head turned to where she scented Jeremiah, and though her body screamed not to, yelled to get her hand cleaned which was now bleeding pretty nicely, she found herself running to where he was. Why after such a fight? Because, no matter how angry he made her, she still loved him and knew he loved her and they would be okay. Going through struggles together makes them stronger, right? Her eyes squinted as she looked over to where he was, pushing her glasses down to see properly, not that she had to. He was on his hands and knees, and before she could stop herself or think of a reason for being there, she found herself on her knees beside him, reaching out with her uninjured hand for touch his shoulder. "You need to be resting. Not fighting with me or anyone else." Sure she was being a hypocrite, Jeremiah told her something similar mean timing over, but he did need to. She could be replaced easily, changing alphas so close like they just did wasn't.

    Tobias [click] || 20 yrs || Rogue [click]

    As Morgan was beginning to calm down, Tobi was also relaxing ever so softly. His presence seemed to help which made him pleased. The pink nose of his gently nudged the girl in her side, checking that she felt well enough to be on her own before standing up. The children were well looked after so his help was not needed there. Jeremiah, Beddha and Daniel were another problem; The males he rather left be but the female, she was similar to him and he felt that he could ease some of her despair. His paws carried him after her scent, trotting swiftly and with purpose to her location but was shocked to see that she was currently by the alpha, who was downed. Tobi caught the sharp scent of bile in the air which led him to assume he had just expelled his stomach contents.The albino immediately gave a whimper of worry, using his nose to nudge at Beddha's injured hand. Both were worse for wear and desperately needed medical attention from a Gamma they lacked. Yet Tobias knew that he could do something if he shifted back into a human where his own bits of medical knowledge could aid them. But the question was could he shift still? He had made no recent attempts at it and hadn't felt any urge to try until today when tensions were running so high. His mind was mad up. The lupus eased himself backwards, head bowing low and eyes shutting in concentration. He thought of a long tunnel with his canine form sprinting down it and as he moved, the white fur of his began to recede. The bones within creaked and shifted into place though not as easily as they once did.

    And by the time he was at the end of the tunnel, Tobias stood in his much underused humanoid form. His eyes opened, pleased to see that he was successful in his change. Long had he forgotten that his human form felt so....odd. He was not unusual for a homo sapien, an average height of five foot six though his weight felt very low. His skin was very pale like a porcelain doll and multiple scars that were faded pink. Black curls rested atop his head, just barely falling over his pale blue hues. Obviously, he was in the nude just like the day he was born yet that did not concern him. With his newly appropriate frame, the boy reached out a thin tentative hand towards the alpha male, mustering a soft smile "Get you help?" His voice was scratchy from lack of use, the unnatural dryness he felt making it very tenor like.

  • Bedda, having not cared to tell Tobi to leave when he approached, was baffled when the male began to shift from wolf to human just after touching her bleeding hand. A hand she was keeping from sight, even if she felt the dull throb. Her gray eyes left Jeremiah to look at the now nude make beside them, pupils widening ever so slightly. Not because he was nude, but because he was human. The witty and concerned female did not know what to say as she looked at him, even as he crouched to speak with Jeremiah, even as his voice matched the voice they normally heard in their heads, his scent was Tobi, but for the life of her she couldn't believe he was standing there as a human. She looked at Jeremiah and groaned. "Come on, Miah. Let's get inside. And probably get my head to try and wrap around that Tobi is a human in front of us and. Damn Tobi." She looked back at the male, frowning at him. "You need to eat."

    {{ If anyone needs a reminder of the sickness, I am putting the paragraph of it given to us by The_Regalia in the first post of this thread so it's easier to find }}

    { Gir and Piggy   The_Regalia }

    Jeremiah glanced over when he first felt Bedda come beside him, shaking his head as she spoke of him needing rest. "No... I'm... I'm fine," he voiced stubbornly though he knew he wasn't. His body was screaming at him in every way that something was wrong. Fear gripped him as he thought of the sickness that took Alex and Harlow, and the thought that it may be taking a tole on him as well. This unknown sickness, coupled with the fact that they didn't have a Gamma and didn't have answers...

    He moved to push himself off his knees and back onto his feet, but the motion sent the world spinning once more. He came forward again, his hands grasping the grass beneath him as he tried to make everything stop. His eyes closed up tightly again before he felt the presence of another. He immediately knew it was Tobias from the whimper that was given. However, what he didn't expect was the voice that followed soon after, and his eyes opened to travel to the new human Tobias. In any other circumstance, Miah would have shown surprise, but right now he only showed pain and illness.

    Hearing Tobias' words followed by Bedda again, Miah knew better than to try and fight any more. Besides, he could feel his body weakening the more he tried. "F-Fine," he murmured as he nodded, looking up at Tobias and then Bedda. He took hold of Tobias' hand, though made no move to stand yet. "I... I don't know if I can move on my own," he added, his body feeling weak from the adrenaline of the fight, as well as dumping out every content of his stomach.

    Morgan watched as Tobias left before she slowly stood up from her position on the floor. Everyone seemed to have either moved upstairs or outside, leaving this floor of the house quiet. She gripped the counter as she stood, feeling her heart calm back to normal. She took a few deep breaths as she glanced around, deciding to simply do what she knew she could.

    Since no one was around, Morgan gently slipped off her sweater to reveal the simple tank-top she wore beneath. She tied it around her waist and pulled her hair back, tying it up in a ponytail. She pushed her large brown glasses back on her nose and nodded to herself, picking up any plates that had been left over from the short breakfast. It was times like these that Morgan would clean, the Omega not worried about who may see her or her scar. It was all she knew to do around here as 'her part'.

    She set to work, gathering plates and washing them in the sink, up to her elbows deep in dish water. She glanced down at her now perfectly visible scar on her chest, frowning momentarily before setting her mind back to work. Morgan preferred to keep the scar hidden as to not have pity from anyone or to have them see only her scar. However, since everyone left, she figured there was no danger of that occurring at the moment.

  • (kinda forgot bout Erik xD)

    Bedda nodded as she moved to stand with him, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. "Lean on me." She said seriously, despite their different heights. The woman was stronger than she looked, she could carry him to some extent if she had to, but even with her health at it's peak she wouldn't be able to long. Not that she had to actually carry him in that moment. "I'll be your strength if you let me." Even if they fought, even if she didn't have it in her to apologize yet, she couldn't just deny she would always be there for him. But right now, all she cared about was getting him to their room so he could rest and she could figure out what the hell was spreading through the pack still, and why only certain few were falling sick. And figure out why that pack was bordering their lands. Granted though, with both things she might fall short for she was no doctor and no mind reader, even if her gut instinct on the second was to run them out before they poised more of a threat.

    -----------------

    Erik grinned as he finally sat back, blue eyes watching the children as they ate quietly and contently with whatever their choice of movie was. They were all in his own room, since he was hardly ever there anymore, and it was kept clean and neat for more to join. "Just try not to get syrup on my covers, okay? It's a pain trying to wash that sticky stuff out." Of course of the adults, the simple sentence could be taken another way, which was why he chuckled as he nuzzled his face in the crook of Eva's neck while he held her close from where he was sitting with her on his lap, under the blanket he was making her use. "Andrew, Eva, Kari, do you want something to eat? I can go down and bring the rest of the food up." He said as he looked at each of them, eyes gentle.

  • Eva had followed suit of Erik and a few of the others. Her arms were full of breakfast food and drink for her fellow pack mates to enjoy, but she was careful about her bare fingers touching the pancakes. This sickness was so far proving to be deadly, and she wanted todo her best not to give it to anyone else. Once she had gotten inside Eriks bedroom she had set the food down on the floor for the kids to grab. Then she was on Eriks lap, being forced under a blanket and despite her stubbornness didn't reject it. Her upper body leaned on him and she found herself resting her chin on his head as he nuzzled into her neck. It was soothing, being held the way he held her. He seemed happy as well, so when her asked her if she wanted anything she shook her head a little back and forth, indicating no. Sighing softly she watched as the kids thumbed through the movies with a gentle smile creeping onto her exhausted features. They were so young, both at least somewhat innocent in a way. It eased her mind that they were easily distracted. Closing her eyes she let herself calm down and relax a little bit.

    Anna, still gripping Noahs hand tightly, followed after the boy and into Eriks room. It was clean and tidy, unlike her own. There were some movies on a shelf beneath the t.v. and she began to thumb through them with one hand, stopping at the movie Spirit and looking u at Noah with a questioning look. She really liked this movie, it was about a horse who acted like a person. It kind of reminded her of herself, as she was a werewolf. She could be a wolf and do human things! It was a lot of fun most of the time. Shaking her head as if shaking the thought she looked over the other people in there as well with a soft grin.

    Jeremiah couldn't help the small huff of amusement that escaped his lips as he felt her take his arms around her shoulders. She was speaking of being his strength. Now where had he heard that before? He held his tongue though, having no more strength to put up a fight against her. "Okay..." he murmured instead, leaning on her. He tried not to lean too much on her, though it was really hard to do. He just didn't have the strength anymore.

    However, he tried not to let on to anything he was feeling besides the sickness. He was still Alpha, even in his weakened state. He felt as if he needed to make sure that he didn't show too much weakness now. He drew a deep breath, trying to relax a bit more.

    Morgan hummed softly as she worked, her hands moving rhythmically along the dishes as she washed. She kind of liked this little time alone, not stress and no worry. Of course, sometimes she simply over thought a lot of things while it was silent. But today, she seemed content to simply hum away as she worked, finding nothing she truly needed to worry about at the moment.

    Andrew looked up as he heard Erik's offer, nodding his head slightly. "Food sounds kind of good," he murmured, realizing that he hadn't eaten at all. Things kind of got crazy and distracted him from how hungry he really was. "Thanks Erik," he said as he looked back at Noah and Anna, feeling horrible that they had to witness everything downstairs.

    Beddaa grinned slightly at the huff he let out, even more when he agreed to let her help him. As his weight gradually increased on herself as they walked, she tightened her grip on his waist and continued to steady herself. "You know, Tobias, the very least you could do is support his other side." Getting Jeremiah to the house was no problem: getting him upstairs by herself was another. Usually he could just carry her butt up there, her? She could not carry him. Not up those stairs. "I'll need to check your temperature and whatnot when we get to my room. I may not be Gamma, nor a doctor in any way, but I at least know some things." She said through a small grunt. She knew he wasn't trying to put all his weight on her, but it was obvious he put just enough to make it difficult, not that she would complain at all. Bedda only wanted to help the man she loved and the pack they cherished, she would do everything in her power to keep both safe. Even if she wasn't around to see it anymore.

    Erik smiled at Andrew, his arms wrapped around Eva's waist gently. "Don't thank me. I think we all need this break from the hell that's been going on." He said as he looked over at Kari. Tobi perked up at his name being spoken but didn't respond with anything. Carefully, he wrapped his thin arm around Jeremiah's waist to support his other side. The scent of him and Beddha shifted ever so slightly from what he was used to as a wolf. His nose didn't feel right which made him give a small sneeze but other than that, he had a calm outside with worry edging his face. At Beddha's words, he turned his icy gaze on her "I know heal things. Not lots, just some." His nose crinkled at the sour scent radiating from Jeremiah "Sour. Very sick."

    Jeremiah simply nodded as he felt both of them support his frame, trying to focus on remaining on his feet and moving. Hearing Tobias speak of knowing some medical advances, and knowing that Bedda had some experience as well, put his mind at some ease. However, there was still the fact that he was sick, and he didn't like it at all. How could he have let this happen? And of now at all times? His pack needed him now more than ever, and here he was, down for the count against an unknown sickness.

    His worn features furrowed in discontentment at the thought, though he remained silent. He didn't have the strength to bring anything from his thoughts into light right now. The thought of simply laying back in bed seemed very appealing to him, and he would be lying if he said that he didn't welcome the thought of a bed. His body and mind were screaming, and perhaps sleep would help it all.

    Andrew couldn't agree with Erik more. Their pack needed a break from everything that has happened, but Andrew had a feeling that all of this was not going to pass quickly. He knew that both Eve and Jeremiah felt awful, and now there were strangers on their land. Peace and quiet seemed quiet a ways off still, though he really wish it wasn't. He couldn't imagine any more tragedy hitting their pack after losing a few who were so loved. To lose more would weaken them both as a pack and as people. More lose, in any way, was not something they needed right now.

  • Noah pic

    Noah kept a light smile on his face trying to continue to bring comfort to Anna but he still felt inner turmoil scorch through him when he passed Harlow's area. The necklace weighed heavy against his chest as he fidgeted with the floor from his feet. He was excited about the movie to be distracting but he just felt like a jumble of emotions and he was trying to keep the stress from emitting from him.

    Ashley pic

    Ashley quietly sat back munching on food and trying to focus especially on the distraction from her thoughts. They were haunting if she stayed put for too long. With a few rapid blinks she pushed off the melancholy of being alone once again and still having a child she was going to bring into the world. She was terrified of what was going to happen now that they didn't have a Gamma. What if something was horribly wrong? She would never know until it is too late. biting her lip she brought more snacks to her face trying to cope with her emotions. Quickly she flipped the switch in her head replacing her mood with a happy facade watching Kari and the kids while trying not to be jealous of Eva and Erik.

    Kari pic

    Kari scoffed at Erik's statement. "Turn down? I've eaten more of them than any of you pups." She declared heartily with a grin. For a moment she left the room and re entered with her arms full of blankets and pillows from her room and dropped them around in front of the television before scooping up both kids and dropping them on the excessive blankets. For her to be able to sleep better she needed weight but had never gotten around to buying a weighted blankets so instead she has a mountain of blankets. Figuring the children would enjoy it as much as she did she belly flopped next to them giving a small bounce at the fluff of blankets. Noah let out an undignified squawk before a small smile cracked his mask and she thought mission accomplished. "Don't worry chitlens, you can eat over here and you wont have to worry about messing up the priss's comforters." The woman cheered happily flashing a playful wink in the couple's direction. Then she looked to Andrew with a brow raised before grinning again and pat space next to her. "Stop lookin so constipated Andrew, you seem like you need pancakes."

    Daniel pic

    Daniel grit his teeth running faster. He wanted to put his fist through a tree but knowing that he would only injure himself he grit his teeth more. Part of him simply wanted to self destruct because that gives him a sense of control in this situation. His body felt cold even with all of his fur covering his body. Tingling licked at the tips of his limbs making him have to focus to keep his feet from under him. His breath was short and he struggled to rationalize and compartmentalize his emotions as fast as he felt them. The pack felt so divided now and he wasn't sure how to fix it because it was not even part of his job description, let alone his personality. He really was sick of Bedda's entitled attitude covering it with 'its her job.' She could talk her way out of many things saying it 'was her job' or even turning it on others that it was their fault. Shaking his head he realized he was working himself up further after a small trip that urged him to go faster. That if he couldn't feel his chilled limbs or the burn in his lungs then he would warm them up by pumping blood through his body.

    (rip me sorry I'm so late)
