    The Fall of a Kingdom

The Kingdom of Xemayix was once a strong and prosperous nation, despite its small size. Feared kings, noble warriors, and powerful magicians hailed from this land settled in the foothills throughout the years. Gold, silver, and other such riches flow from the earth like water from a river. And the people of Xemayix were the happiest around. At least, that was the case until King Baer ascended to the throne thirty years ago. That was when everything in this kingdom began to fall apart.

Baer was a weak and feeble king, despite the his strong name. He refused to press back when enemy nations falsely accused Xemayix things such as attacking their citizens or stealing their land. The king would always against the words of his advisors, and it eventually got him into trouble. One day, the ruler of the Elsto Empire demanded that Baer step down as king of Xemayix on the basis that the kingdom's army murdered the ruler's heir. Baer did as requested, shocking all of the citizens of his kingdom.

It didn't take the Elsto ruler long to claim Xemayix as a part of his Empire and drain it of most of it's resources. Of course, this only occurred after he had slain Baer before all of his former kingdom.

To this day, Elsto rules over the lands that used to make up Xemayix, though they don't govern the people well. As time has gone on, the ruler of Elsto has passed away, leaving no known heir to take over his position over the empire. An internal conflict has developed among the nation's nobility, the cause of conflict being deciding on who was suitable enough to rule.

Due to this, the lands on the outermost skirts of Elsto have been neglected, thus leaving a gap for revolution. Will those who remain of Xemayix's knights and noble citizens be able to unite their people and reconquer their land?
