their fathers' love was birthed on warm summer nights when a thunderclanner and a shadowclanner could meet alone, at first as friends, and then later on as lovers. however, creambounce and jaggedsight were more than just your typical taboo, as both were the medicine cats of their respective clans and thus forbidden any distraction from their life's work. and under that umbrella fell mates and kits. they had already broken that rule once, they figured, so what harm would there be in doing it again?
a close friend of creambounce who found out about their situation later offered herself as a surrogate and, in a few months' time, shadefeather become a mother of a rather large litter of seven kits. coyotekit, ashkit, whitekit, mumblekit, harrierkit, lionkit, and goldenkit were their names at the time. their childhoods were as normal as could be, aside from the awkward hovering presence of creambounce usually a few feet away at any given time, especially when they were still toddling around unsteadily. yet he never seemed much like a paternal figure and didn't even really know how to, and thus they never treated him as the father he was, and always more like the awkward uncle.
and not long after their apprenticeships began and the novelty of growing up had yet to wear thin, a drought struck hard and fast in the late summer. a few of their clanmates died of heat stroke or starvation– but that was before the brushfire. a spark ignited and lit the bone dry forest aflame like an oiled torch, driving thunderclan to take refuge across the river with riverclan for a few days to wait for the flames to die. and for those that had been left behind in the panic would emerge sootied but alive. but for too many of them, this was not the case; creambounce had been trapped by a fallen tree and been burnt to a crisp. another friend of raventuft, pumpkinpatch, had been burned so badly that she hardly looked alive, ugly scars marring nearly her entire body. and once shadowclan had caught wind of the fire, jaggedsight had disappeared only to be discovered dead as well, trapped by the flames.
but as creambounce lay paralyzed and on his deathbed, he had told pumpkinpatch and his younger sister lightningpaw the truth about he and jaggedsight, about raventuft's fatherless children. he'd made them promise to tell the kits one day soon, so that the burden wouldn't be pushed alone onto the shoulders of their grieving mother. and so they came to understand their muddy parentage some time after both thunderclan and the territory began to slowly heal. it has been a couple months since then but the siblings have chosen to keep this secret to themselves for now.
a few months have passed and since then a joint raid between bloodclan and darkclan occurred not long after the fire so the siblings may have gained a handful of scars in battle then, much like their sister coyotepaw. in a half moon or so, they will be officially renamed as full-fledged warriors of thunderclan, still struggling to find their place in life.
as of 12/3/17, they have been aged up four (4) months to space out plots, etc. and are now fifteen (15) months old and aged on the ninth (9) of every month (birthday is 8/9/17).

— please remain in trad thunderclan for at least three weeks before packing up and shipping your kid to another clan please!
— two weeks of unexcused activity (i.e. no posts ic with out an ooc notice) will result in a warning over pm and you will have one week before your kid is rehomed
— feel free to tweak a kid's appearance– give him a notable scar or change his eye colour– or change the name as long as it still suits the kid (i.e. don't name them after eye colour bc all kits have blue eyes)
— do not kill these guys off right off the bat, make them kit machines, cause them excessive, undue suffering, et cetera; have some respect for them and treat them with some dignity at least
— when filling out a form, please include the basics; name, gender, appearance, detailed personality, future plots and plans you may have for them
